I've always known I was an animal person! I've grown up with cats and dogs since I was 5 years old — 7 family cats and 5 family dogs throughout the years — so I'm familiar with every stage, from puppy and kitten energy all the way through senior care. Personally, I have 3 wonderful pups of my own. We're an active household: we walk every day and make sure to play and engage with them throughout the day, so I understand firsthand what it takes to keep a dog happy, healthy, and mentally stimulated. As someone with three dogs of my own, it's important to me to provide the same level of care I'd want for my own pups. I want you to feel confident that your dog will be looked after just as they would be in your own home with the same patience, attention, and love.

Lauren took care of my 3 large retired racing greyhounds along with my 3 cats living in the same house. Lauren handled all 6 of them with a firm but gentle hand. I would trust her to take care of them any time. I feel comfortable and feel secure with knowing that my little pups & kits are being taken care of by Lauren. I would recommend all my friends & relatives to Lauren.
Lauren's greatest strengths are showing patience and kindness to humans and animals. I had the privilege to watch Lauren dog sit many times for our friends and family, and it's incredible to see her passion and love for pets that are not hers. She has a set schedule of when to feed and take the dogs out. Ensure they go on long walks and are provided water afterward. I highly recommend Lauren as your next Rover, as she will take your dog as if it were her own.
Lauren has got to the best dogsitter we’ve ever encountered for our Bella! We’ve had experience with a lot of other dog sitters in the past and there is no one like Lauren- Lauren is seriously THE BEST. Lauren took care of Bella a few times for us every time we were out of town and man, we never regret it. She’s super reliable, highly attentive to our senior corgi, and gives her so much love. She takes Bella on good long walks, plays with her, and takes her on adventures! She is great at communicating with us too, sending us updates throughout the weekend with cute pictures :) We know Bella had a great time with Lauren when Bella comes home and acts really sad LOL. Highly highly highly recommend Lauren!
Lauren was so great with my dog, bolt! She made him feel welcomed and had lots of play sessions with bolt, he’s normally very nervous to meet new people and sitters but he adjusted quickly and even asked her for lots of pets which he does not normally do. I also appreciated Lauren’s quick responses and attention to detail and really loved that she kept us updated on bolt! It’s not easy finding a great pet sitter for your pet who’s experienced taking care of various needs and quirks and you could really tell Lauren’s deep knowledge of pet care when she helped us dog sit bolt!
Lauren is an amazing pet sitter! She would regularly watch my 2 Yorkies when we go on trips and I know they're in good hands. She's attentive and gives my dogs the care that they need so I don't have to worry while I'm away. She's one of the only people I can trust to watch my dogs!

Schedule
I am present full time for your pup! Care fits right into my everyday routine rather than being squeezed in around it, so your dog gets consistent attention throughout the day. After I have a better understanding of your pup's routine we'll go on walks, play in our fenced front and back yard with lots of grass to enjoy, and I'll send you pics and updates along the way so you can see how they're doing. For rest and downtime, we have a private, dog-friendly ADU set up specifically for our furry guests to decompress after play and meals. I'm present in the ADU with them, and we also have a Furbo camera set up for extra monitoring. If your pup enjoys canine company, my Australian Shepherd will keep them company there; if your pup prefers to be the only dog, we'll give them their own separated space and time instead, tailored to what makes them most comfortable. Throughout the day, care naturally rotates between active time outside and quiet time in the ADU, so your pup gets a good balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and rest with me nearby the whole time.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety is my top priority, both indoors and out. My front and back yards are fully fenced and gated, with an added interior gate leading to the backyard for extra security. I never let dogs outside unsupervised for extended periods, and I always do a visual check of the yard and gate latches before letting anyone out. We have cameras covering the front yard, so we never open the door to unfamiliar people, and dogs are always leashed the moment we step outside the fenced area. Indoors, I keep household chemicals, medications, and anything toxic to pets safely stored away, and I make sure trash cans and food are out of reach. I follow each pet's normal feeding, water, and bathroom schedule as closely as possible, and I'm comfortable administering medication if needed. If I'm caring for multiple pets at once, I introduce them slowly and supervise their interactions until I'm confident everyone is comfortable together.

A typical day
Every pup's idea of a fun day is a little different, so I like to tailor activities to what you and your dog enjoy most. Here's a taste of what a typical day might include: We'll have plenty of toys on hand for backyard play: fetch with balls, chew toys, and just soaking up some sun in the grass. I'll also take your pup on walks around the neighborhood, which is quiet and tucked away from busy streets, so it's a relaxed, low-stress environment for sniffing and exploring. For pups who like a mental challenge, I have dog puzzles to keep their mind engaged, not just their body. Whether your dog is more of a high-energy player, a laid-back sunbather, or somewhere in between, just let me know their preferences and I'll shape the day around what makes them happiest.
