“Erik has a heart and passion for dogs. He's not just a sitter, he's committed to Odin's needs. Odin's breed can be misunderstood and be labeled as difficult by some. Erik has been wonderful at keeping odin on schedule and using the activities I suggest to drain Odin mentally and physically. EVERY time I've come home after Erik's been with Odin, he's been balanced. (Which says a lot as Odin learns to how to navigate his separation anxiety). I feel safe and confident leaving Odin with Erik. I'm sure you will too!”

“Lisha was a great sitter for our dog Jake, and we’d highly recommend her to anyone. We asked Lisha to come meet us prior to booking just to make sure everyone was a good fit for one another - we were, and Jake took to her right away. Lisha is cool, loves dogs and she met our expectations. She kept in touch with us while we were away and sent us photos and updates occasionally which we loved. We knew Jake was in good hands while we were gone and we’ll be booking her again soon if she’s available. Thanks again, Lisha!”
“JoAnne is wonderful and did a great job with my dog! She gave lots of updates and pictures and always responds super quick. I’d highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Donny took care of daily walks and overnights for my pup while I was on a work trip. I got lots of updates and pictures. He took great care of the house and I wasn’t worried about Rexy at all!”

“Jack was amazing! This was my first time using this service and I was a bit nervous but he made me feel at ease when we met. He kept my pup happy and healthy and kept me updated with pictures and texts about how she was doing, when he was there, when he was leaving and just general updates. 10/10 would use Jack again for house sitting. Thank you!”

“Callie was awesome! She sent daily photos and videos and we could tell with viewing them that our dogs loved her, she even sent her gps tracking after dog walks! This was our first time using Rover instead of kenneling them and she made our vacation and our pups time away from us stress free. Thank you Callie for the love and care you gave our fur babies.”

“Gabby was great! She followed all of our instructions, sent us pictures and updates throughout the day, and went above and beyond making our dogs feel comfortable and loved while we were away. She played with our dogs favorite toys and relaxed with them throughout her stay. She let us know if she left the house and when she would be back. She kept the house clean, which was nice to come back to. This was our first time using Gabby but not the last. We will definitely be using her again! Thank you, Gabby!”

About: I have pet sit for both dogs and cats for countless friends over the years. As someone who grew up with dogs and cats my entire childhood, and a current proud dog owner, I invest my all when I am caring for pets. I take animals' lives seriously and dedicate my energy and love for them when I am watching them. Currently I am available full time to watch and/or walk dogs and cats. I live in Sacramento and am happy to commute anywhere around the Greater Sacramento Area to care for your pet(s). I was laid-off from my full-time recruiting position due to Covid19 layoffs, and am able to provide my full undivided attention to watching and caring for your pets. Ideally I would love to pet sit for your pet(s) at your home since I have a dog at home and don't want to take any risks there. As for dog walks, I would love to walk your dog(s) in your immediate neighborhood, but if you recommend that's not a good idea, I am happy to take them to parks. I typically walk my dog for about 45 minutes both in the morning and evening. I am happy to walk your dog(s) as long or short as you advise me is best for your dog(s). Also, I am a life-long runner so if you prefer me to jog/run with your dog at a quicker pace, I am happy to accommodate. I am quite easy-going so I am not picky about the type of home or neighborhood you live in, and will be comfortable and excited to hang out and/or walk with your pets.

About: I’ve had and raised dogs all my life - from when they were just a few weeks old til they became senior dogs. I watch my friends’ dogs (big and small) when they go out of town. I love taking them for walks or just playing with them at a park or in the comfort of their own home. I promise to love and care for your sweet pup as if they were my own :) I am available most times and days of the week. I am currently working part time with a flexible schedule, so I can attend to your pet’s needs whenever appropriate. Unfortunately, I am unable to host any pets in the current apartment I’m living in. I would spend my time with your pup in your home. I’ll take them for walks and play with them til their heart is content!
“Sydney was absolutely incredible. She watched our dog, Cody, over Thanksgiving and we felt completely at ease with her staying in our home. She’s responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely knows what she’s doing with dogs. Her dog Riley stayed with Cody and the two of them became best friends—walking together, playing together, even napping side by side. Sydney handled their introduction perfectly and brought a doggie gate to make sure they were safely separated at first. Everything she did was thoughtful and professional. Cody is a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix and Riley is a Golden Retriever, and they got along beautifully thanks to Sydney’s calm, experienced approach. We’re so grateful for her care and will 100% use her again in the future. Highly, highly recommend Sydney!”

“Julia was punctual and able to take care of Bearington’s needs and various vitamins. Everyday we received pictures and updates. She even informed us of a leak which we were able to handle right away. She stayed till our flight landed and made sure he went out to the bathroom before leaving. Overall, she did a good job. Thanks Julia.”

“Elaine was absolutely amazing. She sent tons of pictures of our little guy and spent a lot of quality time with him. She was such a great sitter and can’t wait to book her again! Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve spent the last 10 years walking dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and caring for animals is truly one of my favorite parts of life. I’m super active, love being outdoors, and I’m always excited to take your pets on runs, hikes, or long adventures. If your pet prefers a slower pace, I’m just as happy to enjoy cozy couch cuddles and calm hang-outs. I’m also a cat mom, so I fully understand the different needs and quirks of both dogs and cats. Whether it’s playtime, exercise, or just keeping their routine consistent, your pet will be treated like family. My partner and I both have very flexible schedules, which means one of us is always home and available to give your pet attention, supervision, and love throughout the day. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities. Can’t wait to meet your furry friend! 💛🐶🐱 I’m self-employed and work entirely on my own schedule, and my boyfriend does the same. Because of that flexibility, we’re able to ensure that someone is always home to give your cat consistent care, attention, and supervision. Your baby will never be left alone for long periods — they’ll have company, comfort, and plenty of love throughout the day. We live in a home with a spacious, fully fenced backyard that has plenty of sun and grass for your pet to enjoy safely. We’re also just one block from a large park with a huge open grass field, perfect for playtime, walks, and outdoor enrichment. I’m a very clean and organized person, and I always clean up after pets and keep spaces tidy. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll make sure everything stays neat, maintained, and respected while you’re away.
“Brittney was great! She even came by a couple times beforehand to meet Luna. She was very sweet and friendly and knowing that our dog quickly warmed up to her says a lot! She was great with getting her out of the house on walks and spent quality time with her. We would definitely work with Brittney again!”

About: As a pet owner myself, I understand that leaving your pet can be difficult. I am here to ease your mind with detail and care. I am responsible and respectful while also very caring towards your pets.
Walteria pet parents share their Rover experiences
Katie cared for my 2 dogs for a few days. It was clear from the start when we did a meet and greet that she was the best sitter. She asked lots of relevant questions and took notes. When I returned, my dogs looked happy and well taken care of. Katie kept me in the loop about everything that happen. Would def book her again.

Lishia is a great pet sitter. She was on-time, very responsive to text's, and very good with my dog. She followed instructions perfectly and my dog was happy when I got home. Her calmness was a very positive characteristic to comfort my dog while I was out of town.
Ginny took such phenomenal care of my kitties and my Apartment! Couldn’t ask for better! Apparently a plumbing back up happened from the neighbors upstairs and Ginny contacted me right away and stayed there to let maintenance repair it. So thankful she was there and she cleaned up everything after. My kitties are very happy and love her so much!! Thank you again Ginny and we will see you again super soon!

Andrea came and stayed with Hattie for the first time and it couldn’t have gone better. Andrea was very intuitive with Hattie and her needs. She was a great communicator, which is a stress reliever for me when I can’t be there. And most importantly Hattie loved her!! Thanks Andrea. Until next time!!

Gabby provided exceptional care for our dog. From our initial meeting, her professionalism and thoroughness were immediately apparent; she asked insightful questions that covered details we hadn't even considered. We truly appreciated the consistent updates and photos she shared throughout the stay. Upon our return, our home was in pristine condition. Furthermore, the training tips she provided have already proven effective. We are incredibly pleased and will definitely be booking her services again!

Liana was fantastic with my 15 1/2 year old and 9 year old dogs. They both take medication twice a day and Bowie & Truffles warmed up to her which shows she really was beyond amazing 🤩 as Bowie does not easily bond with anyone. Constant updates and photos were a relief as I was so anxious as I don’t travel often. I felt her warmth the moment she came to visit for a meet & greet. I highly recommend Liana.
Chloe was wonderful. She was really helpful, especially with it being a last minute booking and holiday. She took great care of the animals and the house was left exactly how it was. She was very communicative, cooperative, and came to meet everyone without hassle. I highly recommend her!

Si-Mon is an angel and an incredible pet sitter. She took such great care of my boy while I was out of town for a week. It was the longest we had been apart and my dog experienced some separation anxiety. She stayed with him all night to help calm his nerves and stayed in communication with us the entire time we were gone with photos and videos.

This was our first time having Kristie watch the pups and she did an amazing job! She was very communicative and asked great questions. She took the dogs for walks, fed them, and gave them tons of love. She even made sure to start the wash for the sheets and towels she used, which is sweet. We would definitely have her watch the dogs again. Thank you!

Taylor was a lifesaver for us. We had booked another sitter who canceled the night before we needed someone to watch her dog while we attended a family funeral in our hotel.. 🙏Taylor responded to our last minute request showed up on time was sweet Reliable and wonderful. She could not have been more perfect and helpful. I would definitely contact her again if we’re in the area.
