About: Hello, My name is Deidre but I also go by Dre. I joined Rover not only because i treat all pets like family to expand my knowledge in pet care and to provide a helping hand with pet parents. I am experienced with caring for small/medium sized dogs and cats. For dogs, I am experienced with walks, drop in visits and light pet care. I am open to puppies. For cats I have taken care of one in my past and would like to grow in this experience as well. I am currently working part time, but I expect to be available in most afternoons and evenings in weekdays and weekends all day but weekends vary. Please message me for more details I will respond as soon as possible. I can crate dogs if necessary but I am first patience with pets who are apart from their parent for the first time and use gentle approaches to calm them down like soothing noises, gentle petting/cuddling and if we brought the nervousness down as low as possible I will give them a treat

From the very beginning, their communication was excellent and they made us feel completely at ease. “If I could leave a 100 star rating for Delaney I would! I had my dog at a boarding place while I was out of the country but an unexpected situation happened. I needed someone to pick Bash up and take him to the vet as soon as possible, I contacted over 20 rover people and Delaney was the angel to accept the request. She not only took him to the vet but she also kept him with her for the rest of the time I was out. Her communication and flexibility were on point. There was not a picture she sent of Bash where he didn’t look happy, comfortable, and safe. Next time I need someone to look after my baby, forget the boarding place, Delaney will be the one! We got tons of videos and photos throughout the week that she stayed over. Shane even dropped her off for us, which was super helpful. I know Bella loved her stay because she slept by the front door the night she came home (which she has never done). I'm pretty sure she was waiting for Shane to come back lol.
