“I was nervous at first to leave my dog with anyone other than family but from day one Tatiana eased all my fears. She was so patient and attentive to mine and Canela’s needs. She sent videos and photos daily which let me see how well cared for my furbaby was in real time. My puppy was so happy in her care and didn’t seem to miss a beat. I am so thankful to have found her on Rover already looking to book again in the future.”

“Jenny was amazing with our dog Buster! She was communicative and sent so many cute pictures of him everyday. She went the extra mile to make sure he was comfortable and sent us home with a thoughtful dog cookie and bandana. We will definitely rebook! Thank you, Jenny!”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Nibbles! She watched her for 9 days in her home, and I’m so happy we found her. Drop-off and pick-up were super easy, and Shannon was very thorough about asking questions beforehand so she could make sure Nibbles was comfortable and knew her routine and preferences. She took such great care of her and made sure she was happy, well-fed, comfortable, and got lots of love and attention. I could tell Nibbles was in really good hands, as I received consistent updates/pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Shannon is such a sweetheart, and I’m extremely happy with the care she gave Nibbles. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely use her again in the future!”
“Christy and her family were so great and welcoming to our pup. He was loved, well cared for, and so happy when we picked him up that we knew he was in the perfect place. We feel lucky to have found Christy’s home and have no doubt we will use her again.”

“Nick and Cora! Such lovely people with good hearts! My puppy Rue enjoyed her stay in their lovely home. They sent pictures of Rue eating and walking and gave updates during her stay. Rue gets anxious when she is left alone and their home was the perfect place for her. They both took really good care of my puppy and it reflected when I picked Rue up on the last day! Will definitely re book with them in the future.”

“Kyle was above and beyond! My husband and I were a litter nervous leaving our little guy, but Kyle made sure we felt very comfortable! Our dog was very happy and well taken care of. Would definitely rebook with him in the future.”

“Shardae sent cute updates about Krunch every day and took great care of him. Krunch was in a great mood when I picked him up and I could tell he had a nice time staying with Shardae for a few days.”

“Gina is great! She has an amazing home with a wonderful backyard that made Delanie feel like she was at summer camp. Delanie even seemed a little bummed when we came to pick her up lol. We booked our next stay with her only a few hours after pick up.”

“Hooper always has a wonderful time with Lori and her family! Lori provides many updates and photos throughout his stay and he’s always having a great time, whether playing fetch, cuddling, or just running around.”

“Yiyu was extremely accommodating with our last minute booking. She was extremely communicative with sending updates and pictures. We felt PeeWee was in GREAT hands which allowed us to have a worry and stress free time away. We will definitely be booking with Yiyu again! Thank you for taking care of our baby!”

“Stephanie was great! Wonderful communication and prompt responses. She sent lots of photos throughout our dogs stay which made us feel very comfortable and happy. This was our first Rover and Wes can be difficult, so we really appreciate all the care and love Stephanie gave him!”

“Aubrey is very attentive to our dog’s needs. Goose is a nervous girl, and Aubrey takes care to make sure that she’s comfortable. She also checked in with us when Goose showed some pain/concerning behavior (she has an existing knee problem) and followed up with what care we recommended. She was communicative and obviously loves animals!”

“Ivette was vey welcoming and kind to my little Charly. She had no issues tending to Charly meal routine aswell as his exercise needs. Charly was very happy when picking him up, which is always a very good sign that he had a good stay. Thank you and would 10/10 recommend to everyone”

“Emily is an absolute gem of a dog sitter. Our dog Charlotte adores her — the full body wiggles when she sees Emily say it all. She also loves spending time with Emily’s sweet dog, Maple, and comes home happy, well-exercised, and relaxed every time. What really sets Emily apart is that she doesn’t just “watch” Charlotte — she truly invests in her. She reinforces manners and works on obedience in such a natural, positive way, and we’ve genuinely seen improvement in Charlotte’s behavior. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing she’s learning and having fun. Even with the newest addition to the household — the cat! — Charlotte has been comfortable and well cared for. Emily creates such a calm, loving environment, and it’s clear she treats Charlotte like one of her own. We trust her completely and feel so lucky to have found her. Could not recommend her more highly.”

“As usual, Jami & Frances were fantastic! My dog Murphy is pretty much a regular with them. They love him and treat him like family every time he stays with them. Communication is always clear and timely and I couldn't ask for a better sitter. They are simply wonderful.”

“Xenia took such amazing care of my dog Bogie! She had such a blast there which I could tell by all of the photos and videos Xenia sent during her stay. Bogie’s been back a few times and is always so excited to see Xenia. Her dogs and Bogie got along great and Blgie came home happy and tired which is what ever dog parent hopes for! Highly recommend!”

“Ginny took such phenomenal care of my kitties and my Apartment! Couldn’t ask for better! Apparently a plumbing back up happened from the neighbors upstairs and Ginny contacted me right away and stayed there to let maintenance repair it. So thankful she was there and she cleaned up everything after. My kitties are very happy and love her so much!! Thank you again Ginny and we will see you again super soon!”

“Chieko is so caring and compassionate she went above and beyond to help our senior cat this holiday when she noticed the kitty was not eating much; she hand fed her and made sure our kitty was warm and happy. She basically saved our cat’s life and helped us problem solve along the way. We love her so much!”

“This is the second time Carolyn has taken care of our cats and she’s the best! She is always on time, sends thorough updates and plenty of photos! My cats feel at ease with her, enjoy her company and it gives me peace of mind that they are well taken care of. I highly recommend Carolyn.”

“Pilar truly cared about our cats, and was very attentive to their needs. She was commutative throughout our trip, keeping us updated on how are cats were doing while we were away. She was also respectful of our home and left a tidy house. Our kitties would be happy to see her again in the future!”

“Stephanie is a great communicator. Everything was clear before the visit and she sent great updates about the cats when I was away. You can tell she put care into making sure they were played with and all their needs were met during the visit. Thanks for taking care of them!”

“"I can’t recommend Leiah enough! She is professional, down-to-earth, friendly, and an excellent communicator. From our meet and greet, it was clear she truly loves dogs and knows how to engage with them. She is punctual and provides great updates (and awesome photos!) which gives me total peace of mind while I’m away. If you're looking for someone trustworthy who will treat your dog like her own, Leiah’s the needle in the haystack you are looking for!"”

“Kevin is great, definitely recommend and will use him again in the future! He took great care of my shy cat and he sends lots of great details and pictures and is a quick communicator!”

“We’ve been booking Donny as our cat sitter for the past year whenever we need to travel to Vegas for work. He’s a dedicated cat sitter, our cats love him, even our skittish outdoor cat. Donny even manages to track down our outdoor cat at night to bring him inside, very impressive. He keeps them from stealing food from each other, plays well with them, and our house never smells like dirty litter when we get home! As we are moving to Vegas I’m sure our cats will miss him very much! We hope to book him in the future again if/when we move back to LA!”

“Susan is a rockstar petsitter. She gave extra special care to my cat who was dealing with some medical issues and needed some pain meds. She went above and beyond to make sure he got attention and was well cared for and comfortable. Plus kept me updated with pics and info. Highly recommend and would trust her with my animals again anytime. Grateful to have found her.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something that genuinely comes naturally to me. I’ve grown up with dogs and have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including pets who need extra attention, medication, or a little more patience. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether your pup needs long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’m happy to give them the attention and care they deserve. I’m also comfortable following detailed feeding, medication, and care instructions so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. And of course, I’ll keep you updated while you’re gone! I love sending lots of photos and updates so you can see what your pup is up to and know they’re happy, comfortable, and being well cared for. My current schedule is quite flexible, making me available for whatever you & your pup may need! Feel free to reach out, even if it's at the last minute. While watching pets, I fit to what they need. I love staying active and enjoy going for walks and/or runs with high-energy pups. But, I'm also more than happy to have a more chill doggy day as well.
About: I have always been a dog person after watching the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Ever since I was little we have always owned a dog, my god parents gave me a beautiful little shitzu but unfortunately we had to rehome him but years later I bought my own little maltese poodle. I have quite the experience with dogs because I’ve always been around them whether it’s my own, my family’s or friend’s. I currently only work 3 days out of the week as a receptionist in a chiropractor’s office so I have so much free time for your pups! I will spend time with your fur babies such as taking them on long walks, perhaps even teaching them a couple new tricks, cuddle with them and bathe them if you feel comfortable with that.

About: After we lost my childhood Maltipoo, Chibi, to old age after Covid, we were heart broken. Chibi had lived a long 18 years with us but unfortunately, it became her time. After months of healing, a stray would often make its way into our backyard and we would feed and care for it. At this time, my stepdad did not want any more pets, so we could not keep her. Fortunately, he saw how happy (Tesla) made us and he allowed us to bring her inside. My mom took her to the vet soon after and we discovered she was chipped. (Tesla) had been missing for well over 6 months traveling from Hermosa Beach to Torrance! Her family was ecstatic to have her back and it was during Christmas time, which was truly a Christmas miracle. We were sad to lose her, but felt like we did a good deed returning her home. Because of what happened, my stepdad allowed us to adopt a cat. We were connected to an animal rescue through a friend and soon after, we adopted our furbaby, Misha. Misha is a 10lb female Tuxedo (domestic short hair) with a white mustache. She loves to play, fetch (yes, fetch!), eat, and sleep. What a life! She isn’t a lap cat, but she is social enough that she always wants to be near you. She is also a woman of many nicknames such as: Minky, Mimi, Misha Moo, MishMish, etc. She truly has brought so much joy to our lives and I can’t imagine a home without her.

About: All of the cats I have nurtured have found me. I rescued my cat Edie from a tree that was four stories high by calling Edison to come with their bucket latter to save her. My current cat Penny came out of a crawl space at 6 months old in the rain looking for help. The cats I have rescued all seem to love their chin and cheeks massaged. They all have such different personalities and I appreciate how they slowly come out of their shell to connect. Cats are funny and quirky and often particular. My cats in the past have enjoyed playing go fish with a feather attached. I also cut cat nails.

“Sheila is absolutely wonderful! She provides such a loving and welcoming environment for my puppy, including plenty of fun with her three beautiful dogs. The care he receives is truly top-notch, and he always comes home exhausted after a full day of playing! Sheila also keeps me updated throughout the day with pictures and videos, so I get to see all the fun he’s having. She has truly been a lifesaver, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful care she provides!”
“Chieko was an amazing sitter!! She took really good care of my dog, Sunny. She went to take Sunny for a long walk and fed him snacks+food. I felt safe leaving my dog with Chieko.”

“B’ha was cared for while meeting new furry friends. I received (and adored) pictures of her walking and playing through all her stages of arrival, hesitation, acceptance and play. I recommend Alice as a loving doggy person.”

About: I’m a dog mom of 8 years, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Over the years I’ve helped family and friends with their pets—everything from energetic puppies and senior dogs to rabbits, cats, and even goats! I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and needs, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, or just keeping them company, your pet will get tons of love, attention, and patience while they’re with me. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work from home and have plenty of flexibility. I get regular breaks every two hours and a full hour for lunch, which gives me lots of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins throughout the day. I also don’t go out much, so I’m home almost all day—meaning your pet will have constant company, attention, and a calm, comfortable environment. Your pet won’t ever feel lonely here! In my home, your pet will have plenty of comfort and space. I live in a spacious home with room for your pet to settle in and feel relaxed. I also have a friendly dog who loves company and gets along well with other pets. You’re welcome to bring any of your pet’s personal items—beds, toys, or a crate—and I have plenty of room to set everything up exactly the way they’re used to. My goal is to make their stay feel safe, familiar, and stress-free.
“Jon has been nothing short of amazing! I had a prior experience with a different Rover sitter a few months ago (which was my first time using Rover for my puppy) and despite the good reviews, this sitter almost made me give up on Rover. However, I realized I needed to use Rover for doggy daycare since my pup can’t be neutered for another couple of months, and I needed someone to get my lab’s energy out while I work. After looking for a few days, I came across Jon’s page and reached out for a doggy day care request. Right away, I had a great feeling because he asked for a meet and greet which means he is mindful of the dogs he takes in and had a great response time to any questions I had. I waited until my pup’s first week with him to write a review, and I am so so so happy we found Jon! This first week, he did exactly what he said he was going to do aka tire my pup out so I have a balanced WFH life, take care of my pup, and my pup has been extremely excited to see him since then.”

“Kimberly was awesome! She was very accommodating to my last minute request for a sitter. She sent plenty of photos and updates of my puppy and took her on 3 big walks! I love that she has a fenced yard for my dog to run around in. My pup came home very tired, which is a great indicator that she had a fun day. I will definitely use Kimberly again and would recommend her to anyone!”

“First time with Kyle; I have a very anxious Chihuahua mix & Kyle was very patient with her and gave her her own space until she became comfortable. I can tell he has plenty of experience dealing with this type of situation. Communication was easy and efficient with Kyle the entire time that I was at my function. I did check it quite often. Kyle was very responsive which I really appreciated because I was a little bit nervous seeing that my poor baby is very anxious.. We will see you again! Thank you.”

About: I've always known I was an animal person! I've grown up with cats and dogs since I was 5 years old — 7 family cats and 5 family dogs throughout the years — so I'm familiar with every stage, from puppy and kitten energy all the way through senior care. Personally, I have 3 wonderful pups of my own. We're an active household: we walk every day and make sure to play and engage with them throughout the day, so I understand firsthand what it takes to keep a dog happy, healthy, and mentally stimulated. As someone with three dogs of my own, it's important to me to provide the same level of care I'd want for my own pups. I want you to feel confident that your dog will be looked after just as they would be in your own home with the same patience, attention, and love. I am present full time for your pup! Care fits right into my everyday routine rather than being squeezed in around it, so your dog gets consistent attention throughout the day. After I have a better understanding of your pup's routine we'll go on walks, play in our fenced front and back yard with lots of grass to enjoy, and I'll send you pics and updates along the way so you can see how they're doing. For rest and downtime, we have a private, dog-friendly ADU set up specifically for our furry guests to decompress after play and meals. I'm present in the ADU with them, and we also have a Furbo camera set up for extra monitoring. If your pup enjoys canine company, my Australian Shepherd will keep them company there; if your pup prefers to be the only dog, we'll give them their own separated space and time instead, tailored to what makes them most comfortable. Throughout the day, care naturally rotates between active time outside and quiet time in the ADU, so your pup gets a good balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and rest with me nearby the whole time. Your pet's safety is my top priority, both indoors and out. My front and back yards are fully fenced and gated, with an added interior gate leading to the backyard for extra security. I never let dogs outside unsupervised for extended periods, and I always do a visual check of the yard and gate latches before letting anyone out. We have cameras covering the front yard, so we never open the door to unfamiliar people, and dogs are always leashed the moment we step outside the fenced area. Indoors, I keep household chemicals, medications, and anything toxic to pets safely stored away, and I make sure trash cans and food are out of reach. I follow each pet's normal feeding, water, and bathroom schedule as closely as possible, and I'm comfortable administering medication if needed. If I'm caring for multiple pets at once, I introduce them slowly and supervise their interactions until I'm confident everyone is comfortable together.
About: I’ve take care of every type of animal you can even think of, I’ve had rabbits, dogs, reptiles, cats, horses, guinea pigs, turtles, whatever you name I’ve taken care of it. If someone asked me to take care of their pet raccoon, I’d do it. I always have and always will be an animal Lover. I am part/full time and I’m open whatever days I’m needed. I’m available during the weekdays if you have work and weekends I’d you are busy. I have a fenced yard and my home is always welcome to any dog but if the owner would rather me stay at their home that’s okay with me too.
“Rosana is simply the best. I'm so happy to have found her. You cannot go wrong with this sitter :) Phenomenal communication, the right price point, flexible arrangements. My dog did not want to leave!”

About: I work from home full time, so any dog who stays with us gets real company all day long, not just a quick hello before someone rushes out the door. My own dog, Zeca, a four-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, is basically my co-sitter. He's friendly, easygoing, and genuinely loves other dogs, so new guests usually relax within the first hour because he shows them around. We live in North Redondo close to the beach and have a good-sized backyard, so there's plenty of space to run, dig, sunbathe, or just wander around without ever feeling cooped up. I'll be upfront: I'm not a certified trainer, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. What I do have is years of hands-on experience as a dog owner, the kind that teaches you to read a dog's mood, know when they want space versus attention, and tell the difference between excited and anxious. That's the experience I bring to every dog I host, and I treat each one the way I'd want someone to treat Zeca. Because I work from home, pet care isn't squeezed into a lunch break, it's part of the whole day. Mornings start with a walk, around the neighborhood or nearby park, followed by breakfast and some backyard time while I work nearby. There's usually a midday break for play or another walk, and evenings wind down slow, either on the couch or out in the yard before bed. Dogs in my care are never left alone for long stretches. I'm home, and I'm checking in constantly, not just during scheduled visits. For both boarding and day care, dogs stay right here with us. Not in a kennel, not crated all day. They get the run of the backyard, a comfortable spot indoors, fresh water always available, and meals kept on whatever schedule matches their normal routine at home. I ask for those specifics upfront so nothing feels disruptive. Zeca is around for company and play if a guest is social, and just as happy to give a quiet dog some one-on-one time instead if that's what they need. I send photo updates throughout the stay so you can see exactly how your dog's day is going, and any instructions you give me on feeding, meds, or routine are treated as non-negotiable, not suggestions.
“We were so lucky to find Samantha on Rover. Our 90lb puppy had minor stitches so during the day we needed someone to watch him to make sure he didn’t mess with his injury. We got way more than that - Duke was walked, watched and spoiled. He came home tired 🙏 and happy. Highly recommend”

About: Hi! My name is Emely and my love for animals started before I could walk. I currently have 3 dogs I call my babies. We have Oso, Pumbaa and Chula. 1 English bulldogs and 2 French bulldogs. What can I say? I’m obsessed with the squishy faces. I have years of experience working around animals. I did dog nutrition for 2 years, I worked with rover for a few years and I also worked in the veterinary field as a technician for 3 years. I’m currently a SAHM but looking to rekindle my love for caring for other’s babies again. I am a SAHM with a very easy going schedule. Besides caring for my fur babies and kids. I am usually unavailable after 4/5pm weekdays. I am very attentive when I look after someone’s fur baby. I look at not only energy level but little details how their characters are.
“Summit loved hanging out with Jasmine for the day! She was very communicative and I appreciated the proactive meet and greet. Would definitely use her again and recommend her”

“My 5 year old doodle has been walking with Jailene for over a week now. We decided our pup needed more midday exercise than we could provide, so Jailene swooped right in to come on time everyday: friendly, confident, professional, and no frills. My dog even looks cool walking with her! They get an uphill mile in each weekday for 30 mins and our pup comes back worked, happy, and relaxed. It's been very easy to communicate with Jailene and we trust that our dog is in good hands.”

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember; I’ve had several of all sizes throughout my life, and they were like siblings to me. I love dogs of all kinds; wherever I go, they seek me out, greet me, and let me pet them. I think that’s a great sign that I connect with them. I am a freelance videographer and video editor. I set my own schedule, so at any moment I can pause my editing work to go walk dogs or look after my son's cat when he travels. Yes, often. I take two dogs for a walk every day; I've been doing it for years, and babysitting my son's cat when he travels.
“Chieko has been walking our dog regularly for a couple of months now, and she has been wonderful to work with! She's easy to communicate with and I can tell she absolutely loves animals. Would highly recommend booking Chieko for any of your pet care needs!”

“Susan has been walking our dog Giuseppe for a few weeks, multiple times a week and we can’t say enough great things about her. Susan is kind, punctual, and our dog loves her. She always gives us a recap of his walk and we fully trust our little guy in her care. Thank you Susan!”

“Elika walked my dogs while I was working from home, so I got to see exactly how happy they were to see her! They might be more excited when she walks through the door than when I do!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 11 years, and animals have always been a big part of my life. After recently losing my own dog, I found myself really missing the joy that comes with having a pet around. I decided to join Rover so I could spend time with animals again while helping other pet parents feel comfortable knowing their pets are in good hands. I’m patient, dependable, attentive, and always respectful of each pet’s individual routine and personality. Whether your dog loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. ❤️ I have a flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home with my little one, which allows me to be around and attentive to pets throughout the day. I’m available primarily for boarding and can give your pet plenty of companionship, playtime, walks, meals, and cuddles. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. My home is a comfortable, family oriented environment where pets can receive plenty of attention and companionship. Safety is my top priority, and I’m careful to follow each pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and routines. I’ll make sure your pet has a safe, clean, and comfortable space to relax, play, and feel at home. I’ll also keep you updated during their stay so you know how they’re doing.
“I have been meaning to leave a review for Allen as he’s been our regular dog walker for a while. Allen has been very caring with our two dogs, including one somewhat hostile chihuahua and one elderly chihuahua who is blind and suffering from cognitive decline. He’s been so flexible and understanding with our elderly dog’s evolving care needs and is always so communicative.”
About: I’ve been working with animals for over 25 years, including 10 years as a veterinary technician and as a behavioral dog trainer. As a former vet tech, I’m comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, injectable), monitoring special-needs pets, and caring for both senior dogs and tiny puppies who need a little extra attention. My background in animal behavior allows me to read a dog’s body language, support anxious or high-energy pups, and create a calm, positive experience on every walk. Whether your dog needs structure, gentle reinforcement, behavior training, or just a patient friend, I’m confident, capable, and committed to their safety and comfort. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m currently not working a traditional job, which gives me plenty of time to focus on walking, caring for, and spending quality time with your fur baby. My schedule is very flexible — mornings, afternoons, evenings, and last-minute bookings all work for me. I love being outdoors, staying active, and making every walk a positive, enriching experience for the dogs I care for. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I prioritize comfort, consistency, and following your routine exactly as you outline it. I’m a detail-oriented and caring individual, so whether your pet needs medication, a specific feeding schedule, gentle reassurance, or extra playtime, I make sure everything is done just the way you prefer. My goal is to keep your pet feeling safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since childhood. Everything from Dachshunds to Saint Bernards. I’ve helped train them as puppies and have given them extra love in senior years. Neighbors, friends and family have always relied on me to help with their fur babies. I have a strong love and passion for animals and would love to help you with yours. I am looking for extra, fun ways to make money during the week. I have a strong love and passion for animals. I am currently working part-time and my shifts typically don’t start until 4pm, so I am free most mornings for dog walking. I care for pets as if they’re my own, prioritizing their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely while also paying attention to the pet’s behavior and environment to ensure they feel secure and stress-free. I keep litter boxes and feeding areas clean, provide enrichment through play and affection (as appropriate for the pet), and monitor for any changes in health or behavior. I communicate regularly with pet parents and always act in the pet’s best interest.

About: As a student, I took classes at the East Valley Animal Shelter in Los Angeles. I adopted a Pitbull Lab mix from the San Pedro Animal Shelter while I was in college. He changed my life! I was a pet sitter for several years, walking dogs, doing day visits, and overnights in the Southbay area. I currently have 3 pets: a Chihuahua Mix from a non-profit shelter and a tuxedo cat. A stray kitten was living under my truck and she basically adopted my dog. I love walking, swimming, the beach, hiking and just in general being outdoors. Pet sitting is my ideal part time job. I want to be outdoors and meeting new people/pets. I have two little humans I take care of and do have to be flexible because of their schedule. But I have plenty of time for your pets and I am good about schedules. Very detailed oriented. I am careful about fences, gates, and locking up when I leave to make sure your pet is safe and secure between my visits and while you are away. Whatever instructions you leave for me, I will follow.
About: I originally grew up taking care of rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas, which included grooming / shaving/ nail clippings and baths. I even litter trained them myself. I learned at a young age how to be gentle with all types of small animals and the importance of a clean environment. I am also available for exotic animal drop in visit care services (rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas). In my later years I fell in love with dogs and cats. I rescued all of my cats from trees and crawl spaces and learned how to cut their nails as well. When I got my first schnauzer - I learned the joy of training, patience, and positive reinforcement. My favorite thing to do is walk and spend time with animals, so it only makes sense that I create a lifestyle conducive to the things that bring me joy. I love spoiling dogs with special treats and I always talk to them like I would a person because they are so smart and pick up so many words. Walking with dogs outside, playing, chasing squirrels, and the joy of fresh air is my favorite thing to do. No walk is ever long enough for me. I am highly interactive and assertive to animals needs and I know how important positive energy is for their wellness. A good environment allows them to thrive and trust the company they are with. I am currently working part time, and I have a somewhat flexible work schedule, so pet care is something I enjoy and do daily as I have a pup of my own. I share my pup part time with my ex partner, so I have many days available to help take care of other animals. If it was completely up to me I’d have a tiny farm. I love animals so much and walking dogs is my absolute favorite pastime. I live in a one bedroom apartment with my cat Penny. My pup visits me two days a week. My cat is very dog friendly because she is used to my pup visiting twice a week. Fresh water, teeth brushing, home cooked meals/kibble are all things I do and I have stairs for smaller dogs to come on my couch. No areas in my home are off limits to pets.
About: I started being around dogs in 2013 when I met my boyfriend. I was nervous of dogs until then from an accident when I was just a toddler and now I’ve grown to love dogs so much! Since then he’s had a chihuahua and a yorkie, now with an aussie doodle. Now I dog sit my bff’s dogs: a golden doodle and a mix that we have yet to discover but maybe a pekingese hehe. Those two have made me the cool dog auntie. I was recently laid off unfortunately so I have a very open availability. I can go for daily dog walks and dog sit for any duration. I have a small home with no yard. We can go out for walks and potty breaks throughout the day since there’s no access to go out by themselves. I follow an eating schedule with my two dogs when they stay with me so I’m accustomed to meal times.

“My did a wonderful job with my 2 dogs while I was out of town! She was professional, timely, and very caring towards my dogs. I have large dogs and she was well equipped to handle them. Will definitely use My again!”

“Brian was awesome!! He took great care of our little guy, brought him to the dog park, on walks in the neighborhood, and made sure he got lots of exercise and love while we were away.”
“My dogs had the best stay! Carla is very communicative and so friendly. She seems to really care and love the animals. Will definitely come back as the pups very much enjoyed themselves :)”

“Ashley was amazing. My dog, Nipsey, had a great time at her house. After the initial meet and greet, my worries all left as I could tell she would be the perfect person for the job. She was super attentive and followed all directions. She provided medications as needed but most importantly she gave him tons of love. I highly recommend Ashley if you're looking for a trustworthy person with a great heart and love for animals.”

“Lauren and her husband were amazing with my 2 dogs! They asked a lot of questions at the meet and greet which shows they really care and take their job seriously. They sent pictures and updates every day. They have plenty of space for the dogs to play and run around. I will definitely contact them again.”

“It’s my very first time looking for a pet sitter because I’m always so anxious about leaving my dogs with people that I don’t know but I can’t thank Stephanie enough for taking care of my puppies! It was a great experience, my dogs had fun, played with other dogs and she was so accommodating to their needs and also to my last minute changes! I was getting daily updates and pictures too! I was comfortable because she has so many years of experience and a lot of good reviews! I can fully recommend her and I would definitely be happy to bring my dogs again! Thank you so much!!!”

“Our dog absolutely loves spending time at Elaine’s! He’s always happy to go and exhausted when he comes home. Elaine is great and provides lots of updates and photos for us when we leave our dog with her. First choice everytime!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced dog owner living in the Seaside neighborhood of Torrance. I currently have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and a Mini Australian Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes and energy levels. My dogs are part of my family, and we stay active every day. We enjoy daily walks, hiking, trips to the dog beach, and playdates. I know how important it is for dogs to get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I grew up surrounded by animals, including dogs, horses, chickens, rabbits, and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I work from home during the week, and now that my kids are away at college, I have more time to dedicate to caring for pets. Whether your dog needs a neighborhood walk, extra exercise, or a longer adventure on a local hiking trail, I’d love to help keep them happy, healthy, and active. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand that trust, safety, and communication are the most important parts of caring for someone else’s beloved companion. SAFETY & COMPATIBILITY Your dog’s safety, my safety, and the safety of my pets are always my top priorities. I welcome friendly dogs of all sizes—from tiny pups to large breeds—as long as they are comfortable being handled by someone new. Because every dog is different, I require a meet-and-greet before accepting new clients. For dog walking, I’d like to meet your dog first to ensure we’re both comfortable together and that your dog walks calmly on a leash around people and other dogs. If I’m caring for your dog in my home, a meet-and-greet with my dogs is also required to make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable. While I have many years of experience caring for dogs, I am not a professional dog trainer or behaviorist. For everyone’s safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly with people and can be safely managed on walks and in new environments. If your dog has a history of aggression toward people or other dogs, I may not be the right sitter for your pet. I love puppies and will take in un-spayed or un neutered young puppies (less than 9 months old), at my discretion. I work remote from home and have the flexibility to visit or walk your dog. I have my own three dogs that hang out with me when I work at my desk. I have some flexibility to take a dog to join us to hang out for the day or night. I walk the dogs every afternoon. I have a fenced yard, three friendly dogs to keep your’s company and an XL crate if needed. If I am dog sitting, I would not leave your dog home alone and unattended. There is shaded patio, artificial turf for running and not getting dirty, I have a magnetic screen so my dogs are free to walk in and out of the house at leisure.
