I began caring for other pets besides my own dog, by volunteering at different animal shelters since I was fourteen. About: I was a dog owner for 15 years; she passed away about 3 years ago. Her beds are so big and comfy I didn't want to throw them away. I had proclaimed this to be a forever dog home! Since then, I began dog sitting for friends from my church. I knew if a dog came over, I would want it to be comfortable. I enjoy learning each dog's personality and needs because all dogs are different. My friend's dog doesn't like to be pet but loves to sit next to me. I would take care of your baby just like my own, We would go for a walk at least twice a day. Ill feed once or twice a day, depending on instructions. My mom {Frances} lives right next door, and she is my emergency contact. She loves dogs too. She is a great help if I need to step out for a minute. I do enjoy seeing the dog happy and comfortable, the rest of the day will consist of making that happen. Your pet will get a one on one experience. I will care your pet just like I would do my own. Again, a home away from home. When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is take my fur buddy outside. Next is breakfast and play time if it's preferred. I currently work remotely, full-time, for a nonprofit animal protection organization and have more than eight years of professional veterinary experience. I’ve worked in both a family-owned general practice and a specialty emergency animal hospital. As a companion animal owner myself, I understand how difficult it can be to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care. My goal is to make that experience as stress-free as possible for both you and your companion. Whether we’re going for a walk, enjoying playtime, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’ll make sure your companion receives the attention, safety, structure, and affection they deserve. ❤️ Because I work remotely, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to incorporate pet care into my daily routine. Outside of occasional errands, travel, or personal commitments, I am generally available for afternoon and evening drop-in visits throughout the week. I am also available for in-home pet sitting, which allows your companion animal(s) to remain in the environment where they feel most comfortable and secure. PLEASE NOTE, for in-home pet sitting that falls on weekdays (Mon–Fri): As mentioned above, I work remotely and will need WiFi access throughout the day while caring for your companion animal(s). To help protect your network security, I recommend providing me with a temporary or guest password. Whether you’re out of town overnight or away for a few weeks, I am available to provide house and pet sitting in the comfort of your home. I believe it’s often best for companion animals to remain in their familiar environment, where they can maintain their normal routines and feel safe, secure, and comfortable. While you’re away, I will provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to your pet’s individual needs. This includes feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, enrichment, medication administration if needed, and plenty of affection. I understand that trusting someone with both your companion animal(s) and your home is a big decision. You can expect clear communication, reliability, and regular updates, including photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your companion is safe and well cared for while you’re away.

I’m comfortable providing medication and giving extra attention to pets that require special care, including senior pets or those needing additional support. About: I've been a dog owner for 15 years and have also fostered puppies and kittens in the past 2 years. I'm happy to take your furbabies on walks, encourage them to socialize, and help reinforce training, if desired. I'm usually available for boarding on most days and weekends upon reasonable notice. I currently work a flexible hybrid schedule, which would allow me to work from home during the week on a need basis, just let me know ahead of time. We currently have an 8 month old pup at home. About: I've been a lover of all creatures since I was in diapers! From ants and beetles, to snakes and lizards.. dogs, cats, horses and really anything else you can think of. I used to pretend like I was Dr. Doolittle (still do my family says!) Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. There aren't very many animals that will wait for you all day long just to greet you with that unconditional, emotional lick or wag of the tail when you walk through the door every single day. I have been caring for dogs since I was 8 years old. We had our own to walk, feed, bath and love but I also took care of family members & neighbors pets. I always said I would be a veterinarian but those cards didn't play out just right. So, since then I've taken every opportunity I can find to foster, adopt, volunteer and care for dogs & cats. As an adult, I have raised 3 puppies. An Australian Shepard, a Rottweiler & a German Shepard. I've adopted 3 dogs from the shelter. All of which required significant medical care/treatment. And also adopted 2 cats from the shelter. I'm comfortable and confident with administering medication and wound care. I am also able and willing to care for animals who may need a little extra help. Our days begin early. Usually around 6a. My daughter is in school from 8a-235p each day. My son walks to and from school each day. I am currently working limited hours (from home). Pet care works into my daily routine very nicely as I am able to be available for pet visitors pretty much any time. Walks, yard play, food, watering, medication, etc are tasks I'm able to mange with limited distraction. I have a very large, fenced in yard with grass! Our fences are over 6 feet tall. We have three fur babies of our own. One black German Shepard (3.5 years old) and one German Shepard/Husky mix (1 year old). One American bulldog mix (4 years old). They will be keeping your pets company. We do not crate our dogs but we can happily do so for you if that's what you and your pet(s) would like. We have two children. Daughter who is 11 and LOVES dogs and cats so much! And our son is 13. He is also a big softy for fur babies. We have two cats. One is strictly indoor and the other is indoor/outdoor. Neither cat care too much for the dogs and usually just go about their catlike business. We have an above ground pool that we do not allow the dogs to swim in and don’t allow them access.
