Before the boarding in their home, they suggested a quick meetup to get to know my dog and introduce their two dogs, which really helped to ease my nerves. Their dogs are quite lovely and chill, I must say. During the stay, regular updates and photos were sent, and it was clear my dog was happy and well cared for. I had provided a two-page guide outlining my dog’s schedule, behavior and emergency contacts because I like to be prepared. It was such a relief to know he was in good hands and I felt a sense of calmness while traveling. About: I have over 30 years experience with small breed dogs. I so miss having my own dog for the time being, that I decided to babysit not because I need the money but because of my love for dogs. It's been a wonderful rewarding experience! Since I only take ONE dog per stay, they get all my attention, lot's of play time and love. I will consider 2 dogs if from the same family/client. I have a lovely home near the beach with a fenced in yard. Think of it as a "spa getaway" for your fur baby. I prefer them to be potty trained, but no worries I will work with them. We can have play time in the yard and I would be home with them during their stay. I can take them on walks around my neighborhood if you like. I live in a safe community near the beach. I adore animals and will take great care of your baby while you are gone! I can't wait to meet your special family member and see if we are a fit! I work remote from home Mon - Fri and have alot of flexibility. Plus I have most weekends available. I am fully 100% focused on the dogs I watch. I have toys, a dog bed," my bed" and lots of green grass to run around and play. I have a large backyard that is fully fenced in, lots of room to play and explore. For sleeping, I can crate your dog if you prefer, but I usually have them sleep with me and they have a wonderful front view window to look outside at the neighborhood while on my bed. I currently work remote and have a very easy schedule. Dogs love to sit with me, play in the yard, look out the window and go for walks if you request. Safety is my #1 priority. I have a fenced yard, completly secure with plenty of grass to run around and play! It's a beautiful, tropical, relaxing environment and dogs love my yard. I never leave them unattended at any time.

I typically have 1 or 2 short meetings a day between 9-6, and the rest of my time can be spent caring for pets. I care for pets based on their specific needs. This is why it is important to get adequate info prior to staying with or walking your pet. This includes medication and feeding schedules, exercise and training needs, and how affectionate or playful they are. I am perfectly comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes and energy levels.

About: My sweet female golden, Kona, is patient with other dogs and has helped fosters learn to relax at home. We trained her from a puppy and would love to help care for your dog. We’ve sat for tiny, shaking chihuahuas who have warmed up enough to Kona to even cuddle her. I work from home full time, so I’m available all day for walks. I work on central time and finish at 3, leaving plenty of afternoon time for play in our fenced patio. I can crate one dog as needed, but pets are allowed on furniture in my home if well trained. I walk at least 5 times a day, and have a bell for dogs trained to ring when they need to go outside. I have a lovely fenced patio for dogs to play in or just relax in the sun.

They were patient and kind with Monk, and kept him busy with visits to the beach, and we got the feeling that they gave him lots of love while we were gone. About: I grew up on a small family farm in Ohio for the first 18 years of my life so proper pet care has always been incredibly important. Growing up with herding dogs and German Shepards has taught me how to train and enjoy some high energy breeds as well. !I love to go outside and go on long walks during the morning and evening daily. So adding a furry friend makes it even more fun! I am very careful to ensure all locked doors and security systems are put back into place before leaving. Any small messes or accidents made in your home would be documented and cleaned up per your instructions!
