“Tatiana did a fantastic job watching Appa for me. She kept me up to date with how Appa was doing and sent me videos daily. If anything went wrong, she was upfront and straightforward with me. She was also very kind.”

“This is my first time getting a dog sitter and Jenny really set the standard. She was very sweet to my dog. She even gave my dog Zoey a bandana that really added cuteness. I also wanna thank her for providing Zoey wet food coz i was not able to prepare a wet food in my dog’s bag. She really took good care of my dog. I appreciate that she sent pictures a lot and updating me. She is highly recommendable and I will be a repeat client of her in the future.”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Nibbles! She watched her for 9 days in her home, and I’m so happy we found her. Drop-off and pick-up were super easy, and Shannon was very thorough about asking questions beforehand so she could make sure Nibbles was comfortable and knew her routine and preferences. She took such great care of her and made sure she was happy, well-fed, comfortable, and got lots of love and attention. I could tell Nibbles was in really good hands, as I received consistent updates/pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Shannon is such a sweetheart, and I’m extremely happy with the care she gave Nibbles. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely use her again in the future!”
“Christy and her family took good care of our baby. Our dog Kenobi loved theirs (Phoebe) too and even she was so patient with him. I’m so glad we booked Christy for our dog’s first overnight boarding experience. Christy didn’t even hesitate to hand-feed our Kenobi just to make sure he eats. We’ll book them again for sure! 🤗”

“Nick was so great with our pup. He took her on walks, snuggled with her and gave her daily meds. She looked so happy in the photos he sent us. He has a great outdoor space for her and his house is very dog friendly. We will definitely use Nick again!”

“Gina was a wonderful caregiver to my almost 14 yr old Boston terrier for the weekend while I was away moving. She was able to take Lena on short notice which I’m very grateful to her for. My dog really enjoyed her stay!”

“Shardae was amazing! I had so much anxiety going out of town and leaving my boys with a stranger, however, Shardae provided updates and pictures DAILY! She even picked them up from my house because I was running behind. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Stephanie was great! Wonderful communication and prompt responses. She sent lots of photos throughout our dogs stay which made us feel very comfortable and happy. This was our first Rover and Wes can be difficult, so we really appreciate all the care and love Stephanie gave him!”

“Yiyu was extremely accommodating with our last minute booking. She was extremely communicative with sending updates and pictures. We felt PeeWee was in GREAT hands which allowed us to have a worry and stress free time away. We will definitely be booking with Yiyu again! Thank you for taking care of our baby!”

“Aubrey is very attentive to our dog’s needs. Goose is a nervous girl, and Aubrey takes care to make sure that she’s comfortable. She also checked in with us when Goose showed some pain/concerning behavior (she has an existing knee problem) and followed up with what care we recommended. She was communicative and obviously loves animals!”

“Ivette was vey welcoming and kind to my little Charly. She had no issues tending to Charly meal routine aswell as his exercise needs. Charly was very happy when picking him up, which is always a very good sign that he had a good stay. Thank you and would 10/10 recommend to everyone”

“This was a short stay, just 2 nights. As always, Vanessa and Christian took great care of the pups! They always come home happy. Grateful to Vanessa and Christian for their services!”
“Artem was incredible! Our other Rover sitter fell through at the last minute, and he willingly took in our pup that same day, so we could catch our flight on time! He was very responsive, and it was clear that he kept a safe and structured environment for the dogs. I would highly recommend him and will definitely call on him the next time we need our dog boarded. Thank you again, Artem!”

“Emily was such a great pet sitter for my dog! She sent me updates with photos/vids daily which definitely eased my worries of leaving my senior dog with someone. I knew she was in great hands. Emily was also great at making sure Cleo had her daily walks and her regular schedule. She is a true gem and I'm so glad I found her (also in such close proximity) and would highly recommend her and use her for a future stay! :) thanks again Emily!”

“Brian was awesome!! He took great care of our little guy, brought him to the dog park, on walks in the neighborhood, and made sure he got lots of exercise and love while we were away.”
“As usual, Jami & Frances were fantastic! My dog Murphy is pretty much a regular with them. They love him and treat him like family every time he stays with them. Communication is always clear and timely and I couldn't ask for a better sitter. They are simply wonderful.”

When I got back, my cat was noticeably less lonely and Ginny was great about sending photos and letting me know how my cat was doing everyday! Highly recommend!!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something that genuinely comes naturally to me. I’ve grown up with dogs and have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including pets who need extra attention, medication, or a little more patience. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether your pup needs long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’m happy to give them the attention and care they deserve. I’m also comfortable following detailed feeding, medication, and care instructions so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. And of course, I’ll keep you updated while you’re gone! I love sending lots of photos and updates so you can see what your pup is up to and know they’re happy, comfortable, and being well cared for. My current schedule is quite flexible, making me available for whatever you & your pup may need! Feel free to reach out, even if it's at the last minute. While watching pets, I fit to what they need. I love staying active and enjoy going for walks and/or runs with high-energy pups. But, I'm also more than happy to have a more chill doggy day as well.

About: After we lost my childhood Maltipoo, Chibi, to old age after Covid, we were heart broken. Chibi had lived a long 18 years with us but unfortunately, it became her time. After months of healing, a stray would often make its way into our backyard and we would feed and care for it. At this time, my stepdad did not want any more pets, so we could not keep her. Fortunately, he saw how happy (Tesla) made us and he allowed us to bring her inside. My mom took her to the vet soon after and we discovered she was chipped. (Tesla) had been missing for well over 6 months traveling from Hermosa Beach to Torrance! Her family was ecstatic to have her back and it was during Christmas time, which was truly a Christmas miracle. We were sad to lose her, but felt like we did a good deed returning her home. Because of what happened, my stepdad allowed us to adopt a cat. We were connected to an animal rescue through a friend and soon after, we adopted our furbaby, Misha. Misha is a 10lb female Tuxedo (domestic short hair) with a white mustache. She loves to play, fetch (yes, fetch!), eat, and sleep. What a life! She isn’t a lap cat, but she is social enough that she always wants to be near you. She is also a woman of many nicknames such as: Minky, Mimi, Misha Moo, MishMish, etc. She truly has brought so much joy to our lives and I can’t imagine a home without her.

About: All of the cats I have nurtured have found me. I rescued my cat Edie from a tree that was four stories high by calling Edison to come with their bucket latter to save her. My current cat Penny came out of a crawl space at 6 months old in the rain looking for help. The cats I have rescued all seem to love their chin and cheeks massaged. They all have such different personalities and I appreciate how they slowly come out of their shell to connect. Cats are funny and quirky and often particular. My cats in the past have enjoyed playing go fish with a feather attached. I also cut cat nails.

“Sheila is absolutely wonderful! She provides such a loving and welcoming environment for my puppy, including plenty of fun with her three beautiful dogs. The care he receives is truly top-notch, and he always comes home exhausted after a full day of playing! Sheila also keeps me updated throughout the day with pictures and videos, so I get to see all the fun he’s having. She has truly been a lifesaver, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful care she provides!”
“Chieko was an amazing sitter!! She took really good care of my dog, Sunny. She went to take Sunny for a long walk and fed him snacks+food. I felt safe leaving my dog with Chieko.”

“Kimberly was awesome! She was very accommodating to my last minute request for a sitter. She sent plenty of photos and updates of my puppy and took her on 3 big walks! I love that she has a fenced yard for my dog to run around in. My pup came home very tired, which is a great indicator that she had a fun day. I will definitely use Kimberly again and would recommend her to anyone!”

“B’ha was cared for while meeting new furry friends. I received (and adored) pictures of her walking and playing through all her stages of arrival, hesitation, acceptance and play. I recommend Alice as a loving doggy person.”

“Jon has been nothing short of amazing! I had a prior experience with a different Rover sitter a few months ago (which was my first time using Rover for my puppy) and despite the good reviews, this sitter almost made me give up on Rover. However, I realized I needed to use Rover for doggy daycare since my pup can’t be neutered for another couple of months, and I needed someone to get my lab’s energy out while I work. After looking for a few days, I came across Jon’s page and reached out for a doggy day care request. Right away, I had a great feeling because he asked for a meet and greet which means he is mindful of the dogs he takes in and had a great response time to any questions I had. I waited until my pup’s first week with him to write a review, and I am so so so happy we found Jon! This first week, he did exactly what he said he was going to do aka tire my pup out so I have a balanced WFH life, take care of my pup, and my pup has been extremely excited to see him since then.”

About: I’m a dog mom of 8 years, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Over the years I’ve helped family and friends with their pets—everything from energetic puppies and senior dogs to rabbits, cats, and even goats! I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and needs, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, or just keeping them company, your pet will get tons of love, attention, and patience while they’re with me. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work from home and have plenty of flexibility. I get regular breaks every two hours and a full hour for lunch, which gives me lots of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins throughout the day. I also don’t go out much, so I’m home almost all day—meaning your pet will have constant company, attention, and a calm, comfortable environment. Your pet won’t ever feel lonely here! In my home, your pet will have plenty of comfort and space. I live in a spacious home with room for your pet to settle in and feel relaxed. I also have a friendly dog who loves company and gets along well with other pets. You’re welcome to bring any of your pet’s personal items—beds, toys, or a crate—and I have plenty of room to set everything up exactly the way they’re used to. My goal is to make their stay feel safe, familiar, and stress-free.
“Kyle was incredible with my Coco! I could tell from our meet and greet that our pups would get along great. I am very selective with whom I trust my girl with, so it was nice to meet him in person prior to making final arrangements. Happy to report: he’s great! I was happy to see the photos of Coco’s day, and it was comforting knowing she was in good hands while I had to work to meet all of her demands. Coco was a happy pup and came home ready for bed! So I’d say she had time well spent. Will definitely continue to book with him!”

“Rosana was great with Nala very knowledgable and it’s very good with dogs. She took great care of my dog Nala and I will definitely use her again. I strongly recommend Rosana to take care of your dog.”

About: I’ve take care of every type of animal you can even think of, I’ve had rabbits, dogs, reptiles, cats, horses, guinea pigs, turtles, whatever you name I’ve taken care of it. If someone asked me to take care of their pet raccoon, I’d do it. I always have and always will be an animal Lover. I am part/full time and I’m open whatever days I’m needed. I’m available during the weekdays if you have work and weekends I’d you are busy. I have a fenced yard and my home is always welcome to any dog but if the owner would rather me stay at their home that’s okay with me too.
About: I've always known I was an animal person! I've grown up with cats and dogs since I was 5 years old — 7 family cats and 5 family dogs throughout the years — so I'm familiar with every stage, from puppy and kitten energy all the way through senior care. Personally, I have 3 wonderful pups of my own. We're an active household: we walk every day and make sure to play and engage with them throughout the day, so I understand firsthand what it takes to keep a dog happy, healthy, and mentally stimulated. As someone with three dogs of my own, it's important to me to provide the same level of care I'd want for my own pups. I want you to feel confident that your dog will be looked after just as they would be in your own home with the same patience, attention, and love. I am present full time for your pup! Care fits right into my everyday routine rather than being squeezed in around it, so your dog gets consistent attention throughout the day. After I have a better understanding of your pup's routine we'll go on walks, play in our fenced front and back yard with lots of grass to enjoy, and I'll send you pics and updates along the way so you can see how they're doing. For rest and downtime, we have a private, dog-friendly ADU set up specifically for our furry guests to decompress after play and meals. I'm present in the ADU with them, and we also have a Furbo camera set up for extra monitoring. If your pup enjoys canine company, my Australian Shepherd will keep them company there; if your pup prefers to be the only dog, we'll give them their own separated space and time instead, tailored to what makes them most comfortable. Throughout the day, care naturally rotates between active time outside and quiet time in the ADU, so your pup gets a good balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and rest with me nearby the whole time. Your pet's safety is my top priority, both indoors and out. My front and back yards are fully fenced and gated, with an added interior gate leading to the backyard for extra security. I never let dogs outside unsupervised for extended periods, and I always do a visual check of the yard and gate latches before letting anyone out. We have cameras covering the front yard, so we never open the door to unfamiliar people, and dogs are always leashed the moment we step outside the fenced area. Indoors, I keep household chemicals, medications, and anything toxic to pets safely stored away, and I make sure trash cans and food are out of reach. I follow each pet's normal feeding, water, and bathroom schedule as closely as possible, and I'm comfortable administering medication if needed. If I'm caring for multiple pets at once, I introduce them slowly and supervise their interactions until I'm confident everyone is comfortable together.

About: Hi! My name is Emely and my love for animals started before I could walk. I currently have 3 dogs I call my babies. We have Oso, Pumbaa and Chula. 1 English bulldogs and 2 French bulldogs. What can I say? I’m obsessed with the squishy faces. I have years of experience working around animals. I did dog nutrition for 2 years, I worked with rover for a few years and I also worked in the veterinary field as a technician for 3 years. I’m currently a SAHM but looking to rekindle my love for caring for other’s babies again. I am a SAHM with a very easy going schedule. Besides caring for my fur babies and kids. I am usually unavailable after 4/5pm weekdays. I am very attentive when I look after someone’s fur baby. I look at not only energy level but little details how their characters are.
“We were so lucky to find Samantha on Rover. Our 90lb puppy had minor stitches so during the day we needed someone to watch him to make sure he didn’t mess with his injury. We got way more than that - Duke was walked, watched and spoiled. He came home tired 🙏 and happy. Highly recommend”

About: I work from home full time, so any dog who stays with us gets real company all day long, not just a quick hello before someone rushes out the door. My own dog, Zeca, a four-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, is basically my co-sitter. He's friendly, easygoing, and genuinely loves other dogs, so new guests usually relax within the first hour because he shows them around. We live in North Redondo close to the beach and have a good-sized backyard, so there's plenty of space to run, dig, sunbathe, or just wander around without ever feeling cooped up. I'll be upfront: I'm not a certified trainer, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. What I do have is years of hands-on experience as a dog owner, the kind that teaches you to read a dog's mood, know when they want space versus attention, and tell the difference between excited and anxious. That's the experience I bring to every dog I host, and I treat each one the way I'd want someone to treat Zeca. Because I work from home, pet care isn't squeezed into a lunch break, it's part of the whole day. Mornings start with a walk, around the neighborhood or nearby park, followed by breakfast and some backyard time while I work nearby. There's usually a midday break for play or another walk, and evenings wind down slow, either on the couch or out in the yard before bed. Dogs in my care are never left alone for long stretches. I'm home, and I'm checking in constantly, not just during scheduled visits. For both boarding and day care, dogs stay right here with us. Not in a kennel, not crated all day. They get the run of the backyard, a comfortable spot indoors, fresh water always available, and meals kept on whatever schedule matches their normal routine at home. I ask for those specifics upfront so nothing feels disruptive. Zeca is around for company and play if a guest is social, and just as happy to give a quiet dog some one-on-one time instead if that's what they need. I send photo updates throughout the stay so you can see exactly how your dog's day is going, and any instructions you give me on feeding, meds, or routine are treated as non-negotiable, not suggestions.
“We are so grateful for Xenia and her family! Skye is a bit shy at first and Xenia & Co. gave him plenty of space and time to get comfortable. Skye looks forward to going to Xenia’s place to play with Ori and Lola all the time now! From all the photos & videos, it definitely looks like he thinks of Xenia’s place as his second home. 🤣”

“Connie’s place the absolute best! Even after my dog has stayed with her so many time she continues to send pictures and videos while I’m away. I even got to FaceTime my pup! She is so great and truly understands what I and my dog need to be comfortable being away from each other. Logan literally pulls me to her house he loves it so much. I highly recommend Connie to anyone who loves their dog enough to really care where they’re going and how they’re being treated. Thank you Connie!”
“Elaine has set the bar high! This was our first Rover appointment ever, and Elaine's thoroughness, responsiveness, updates and obvious care for our dog made the experience so great! She provided so many updates, and even sent us a video she made. :) Thank you Elaine for taking such great care of Pepper! She was absolutely pooped the next day, so I know she had a blast. :)”

“Carissa is great! Chewie is rather shy and anxious around new people but from the start, Carissa made him feel comfy and loved. It was obvious from the start how knowledgeable Carissa is about dogs and training, so I know my dog’s in good hands. I know my dog is definitely looking forward to more walks with Carissa!”

“My 5 year old doodle has been walking with Jailene for over a week now. We decided our pup needed more midday exercise than we could provide, so Jailene swooped right in to come on time everyday: friendly, confident, professional, and no frills. My dog even looks cool walking with her! They get an uphill mile in each weekday for 30 mins and our pup comes back worked, happy, and relaxed. It's been very easy to communicate with Jailene and we trust that our dog is in good hands.”

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember; I’ve had several of all sizes throughout my life, and they were like siblings to me. I love dogs of all kinds; wherever I go, they seek me out, greet me, and let me pet them. I think that’s a great sign that I connect with them. I am a freelance videographer and video editor. I set my own schedule, so at any moment I can pause my editing work to go walk dogs or look after my son's cat when he travels. Yes, often. I take two dogs for a walk every day; I've been doing it for years, and babysitting my son's cat when he travels.
“I cannot recommend Camille enough, she is a great walker/sitter. From day one, she treated my pet like family. I always felt completely at ease knowing my fur baby was safe, loved, and well cared for. She. Is reliable, communicative, and genuinely care about animals. I got regular updates, photos, and peace of mind every single time. If you’re looking for someone you can truly trust with your pet, this is the one!”

“Chieko has been walking our dog regularly for a couple of months now, and she has been wonderful to work with! She's easy to communicate with and I can tell she absolutely loves animals. Would highly recommend booking Chieko for any of your pet care needs!”

“Wonderful responsive communication, Susan took great care of Chief and spent extra time too. She bailed us out being available on short notice. Best Rover dog walker we've had in a long time!”

“Courtney has been great with walking our 2 year old dog Boba! She is on time, great at communication, and very friendly and patient with our pup. She took the time to get to know all the little quirks of our puppy and every morning Boba is excited to see her. Highly recommend Courtney :)”

“Elika walked my dogs while I was working from home, so I got to see exactly how happy they were to see her! They might be more excited when she walks through the door than when I do!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 11 years, and animals have always been a big part of my life. After recently losing my own dog, I found myself really missing the joy that comes with having a pet around. I decided to join Rover so I could spend time with animals again while helping other pet parents feel comfortable knowing their pets are in good hands. I’m patient, dependable, attentive, and always respectful of each pet’s individual routine and personality. Whether your dog loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. ❤️ I have a flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home with my little one, which allows me to be around and attentive to pets throughout the day. I’m available primarily for boarding and can give your pet plenty of companionship, playtime, walks, meals, and cuddles. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. My home is a comfortable, family oriented environment where pets can receive plenty of attention and companionship. Safety is my top priority, and I’m careful to follow each pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and routines. I’ll make sure your pet has a safe, clean, and comfortable space to relax, play, and feel at home. I’ll also keep you updated during their stay so you know how they’re doing.

I live with my wife but will be the exclusive care taker of your loved ones! Work from home with virtual meetings on and off, can walk and take care of pets in between. Open mornings and afternoons and can pay close attention all day long. Happy to follow any instructions from owners to keep your pets in the most comfortable conditions and allow them to keep their day to day routine

About: As a student, I took classes at the East Valley Animal Shelter in Los Angeles. I adopted a Pitbull Lab mix from the San Pedro Animal Shelter while I was in college. He changed my life! I was a pet sitter for several years, walking dogs, doing day visits, and overnights in the Southbay area. I currently have 3 pets: a Chihuahua Mix from a non-profit shelter and a tuxedo cat. A stray kitten was living under my truck and she basically adopted my dog. I love walking, swimming, the beach, hiking and just in general being outdoors. Pet sitting is my ideal part time job. I want to be outdoors and meeting new people/pets. I have two little humans I take care of and do have to be flexible because of their schedule. But I have plenty of time for your pets and I am good about schedules. Very detailed oriented. I am careful about fences, gates, and locking up when I leave to make sure your pet is safe and secure between my visits and while you are away. Whatever instructions you leave for me, I will follow.
About: I originally grew up taking care of rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas, which included grooming / shaving/ nail clippings and baths. I even litter trained them myself. I learned at a young age how to be gentle with all types of small animals and the importance of a clean environment. I am also available for exotic animal drop in visit care services (rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas). In my later years I fell in love with dogs and cats. I rescued all of my cats from trees and crawl spaces and learned how to cut their nails as well. When I got my first schnauzer - I learned the joy of training, patience, and positive reinforcement. My favorite thing to do is walk and spend time with animals, so it only makes sense that I create a lifestyle conducive to the things that bring me joy. I love spoiling dogs with special treats and I always talk to them like I would a person because they are so smart and pick up so many words. Walking with dogs outside, playing, chasing squirrels, and the joy of fresh air is my favorite thing to do. No walk is ever long enough for me. I am highly interactive and assertive to animals needs and I know how important positive energy is for their wellness. A good environment allows them to thrive and trust the company they are with. I am currently working part time, and I have a somewhat flexible work schedule, so pet care is something I enjoy and do daily as I have a pup of my own. I share my pup part time with my ex partner, so I have many days available to help take care of other animals. If it was completely up to me I’d have a tiny farm. I love animals so much and walking dogs is my absolute favorite pastime. I live in a one bedroom apartment with my cat Penny. My pup visits me two days a week. My cat is very dog friendly because she is used to my pup visiting twice a week. Fresh water, teeth brushing, home cooked meals/kibble are all things I do and I have stairs for smaller dogs to come on my couch. No areas in my home are off limits to pets.
About: I started being around dogs in 2013 when I met my boyfriend. I was nervous of dogs until then from an accident when I was just a toddler and now I’ve grown to love dogs so much! Since then he’s had a chihuahua and a yorkie, now with an aussie doodle. Now I dog sit my bff’s dogs: a golden doodle and a mix that we have yet to discover but maybe a pekingese hehe. Those two have made me the cool dog auntie. I was recently laid off unfortunately so I have a very open availability. I can go for daily dog walks and dog sit for any duration. I have a small home with no yard. We can go out for walks and potty breaks throughout the day since there’s no access to go out by themselves. I follow an eating schedule with my two dogs when they stay with me so I’m accustomed to meal times.

“My did a wonderful job with my 2 dogs while I was out of town! She was professional, timely, and very caring towards my dogs. I have large dogs and she was well equipped to handle them. Will definitely use My again!”

“I recently had the pleasure of leaving my dog with Xenia, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Xenia was incredibly thoughtful in accommodating my dog’s schedule, ensuring a smooth and stress-free stay. Her own dogs were very friendly and welcoming, making my dog feel right at home. I highly recommend Xenia for anyone looking for a caring and considerate dog sitter.”

“My dogs had the best stay! Carla is very communicative and so friendly. She seems to really care and love the animals. Will definitely come back as the pups very much enjoyed themselves :)”

“Lauren and her husband were amazing with my 2 dogs! They asked a lot of questions at the meet and greet which shows they really care and take their job seriously. They sent pictures and updates every day. They have plenty of space for the dogs to play and run around. I will definitely contact them again.”

“Koji had the best time! He can be pretty energetic, but Katie handled him so well and gave him so much love. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. So grateful and we’ll definitely be back!”

“Brian and Kristy were amazing throughout the entire process. We had to find last minute accommodation for our pup and they were available and very welcoming to us! Throughout his stay, they sent tons of feedback, updates, and our dog got plenty of exercise!! It was comforting to know he was doing well while away thanks to the open communication! Would definitely recommend Bryan and Kristy, they go above and beyond!!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced dog owner living in the Seaside neighborhood of Torrance. I currently have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and a Mini Australian Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes and energy levels. My dogs are part of my family, and we stay active every day. We enjoy daily walks, hiking, trips to the dog beach, and playdates. I know how important it is for dogs to get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I grew up surrounded by animals, including dogs, horses, chickens, rabbits, and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I work from home during the week, and now that my kids are away at college, I have more time to dedicate to caring for pets. Whether your dog needs a neighborhood walk, extra exercise, or a longer adventure on a local hiking trail, I’d love to help keep them happy, healthy, and active. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand that trust, safety, and communication are the most important parts of caring for someone else’s beloved companion. SAFETY & COMPATIBILITY Your dog’s safety, my safety, and the safety of my pets are always my top priorities. I welcome friendly dogs of all sizes—from tiny pups to large breeds—as long as they are comfortable being handled by someone new. Because every dog is different, I require a meet-and-greet before accepting new clients. For dog walking, I’d like to meet your dog first to ensure we’re both comfortable together and that your dog walks calmly on a leash around people and other dogs. If I’m caring for your dog in my home, a meet-and-greet with my dogs is also required to make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable. While I have many years of experience caring for dogs, I am not a professional dog trainer or behaviorist. For everyone’s safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly with people and can be safely managed on walks and in new environments. If your dog has a history of aggression toward people or other dogs, I may not be the right sitter for your pet. I love puppies and will take in un-spayed or un neutered young puppies (less than 9 months old), at my discretion. I work remote from home and have the flexibility to visit or walk your dog. I have my own three dogs that hang out with me when I work at my desk. I have some flexibility to take a dog to join us to hang out for the day or night. I walk the dogs every afternoon. I have a fenced yard, three friendly dogs to keep your’s company and an XL crate if needed. If I am dog sitting, I would not leave your dog home alone and unattended. There is shaded patio, artificial turf for running and not getting dirty, I have a magnetic screen so my dogs are free to walk in and out of the house at leisure.

About: Are you the kind of dog parent who crosses the street if other dogs are in sight or purposely walking at off hours to protect your (and your babies) peace? I know the feeling. As a dog parent to one reactive nervous nelly and one perfectly social senior I know what it is like to balance both and how different both of their needs are in order for both to be happy and comfortable. Wether it be administering meds, special walk considerations or just a little extra tlc I’d love to give your pup the same special treatment I give my own. I frequently volunteer with rescue and have experience caring for dogs with medical needs. I currently work from home so am able to spend the majority of time with your pup and get walks in 4+ times per day or as needed. I live in an apartment with my two friendly senior dogs who are both on daily medication themselves. We go on minimum four walks a day emphasizing a slow sniff for all the leisure goodness. With seniors myself I know that energy can vary so I am used to monitoring for fatigue to adjust and taking their lead.
