“Carissa is great! Chewie is rather shy and anxious around new people but from the start, Carissa made him feel comfy and loved. It was obvious from the start how knowledgeable Carissa is about dogs and training, so I know my dog’s in good hands. I know my dog is definitely looking forward to more walks with Carissa!”

“Elika did amazing! She was flexible in my need for a last min dog walker, was so kind, and left lots of pictures and details about their walk after. Would highly recommend! 😊”

“Amy has been a great addition to my Pup’s community of human buddies. She has been flexible with the crazy happen-stances of emergent circumstances & communicates any concerns quickly. My neighbors have shared that my dog always looks happy when he goes out for his walks with Amy! 🐕🦺🐾”

About: I’ve lost my poodle of 17 years recently. I have 17 years of experience caring for animals. Filling the void by caring for all your lovely pets :) I am currently working from home Monday-Friday and am totally open during the weekends, giving me a lot of time to take care of your pups! About: I’ve take care of every type of animal you can even think of, I’ve had rabbits, dogs, reptiles, cats, horses, guinea pigs, turtles, whatever you name I’ve taken care of it. If someone asked me to take care of their pet raccoon, I’d do it. I always have and always will be an animal Lover. I am part/full time and I’m open whatever days I’m needed. I’m available during the weekdays if you have work and weekends I’d you are busy. I have a fenced yard and my home is always welcome to any dog but if the owner would rather me stay at their home that’s okay with me too.

“My did a wonderful job with my 2 dogs while I was out of town! She was professional, timely, and very caring towards my dogs. I have large dogs and she was well equipped to handle them. Will definitely use My again!”

“Courtney has been great with walking our 2 year old dog Boba! She is on time, great at communication, and very friendly and patient with our pup. She took the time to get to know all the little quirks of our puppy and every morning Boba is excited to see her. Highly recommend Courtney :)”

“Susan has been walking our dog Giuseppe for a few weeks, multiple times a week and we can’t say enough great things about her. Susan is kind, punctual, and our dog loves her. She always gives us a recap of his walk and we fully trust our little guy in her care. Thank you Susan!”

About: I started being around dogs in 2013 when I met my boyfriend. I was nervous of dogs until then from an accident when I was just a toddler and now I’ve grown to love dogs so much! Since then he’s had a chihuahua and a yorkie, now with an aussie doodle. Now I dog sit my bff’s dogs: a golden doodle and a mix that we have yet to discover but maybe a pekingese hehe. Those two have made me the cool dog auntie. I was recently laid off unfortunately so I have a very open availability. I can go for daily dog walks and dog sit for any duration. I have a small home with no yard. We can go out for walks and potty breaks throughout the day since there’s no access to go out by themselves. I follow an eating schedule with my two dogs when they stay with me so I’m accustomed to meal times.
“Thanks Ciai! She stepped in for my usual dog walker and was amazing. She came before the booking to meet my dog and make sure everyone was comfortable. She walked over the amount of time and played with him.”

About: When I was growing up, my family always had a dog; so I feel like having dogs around is just part of how life should be. I work from home, and homeschool my kids, so we are always around! My kids LOVE dogs, and would be happy to pet, cuddle, walk, and play with your pup. We have a fenced in backyard, and a little dachshund who keeps to herself and doesn't bother with other animals. Our sliding door is has a dog setting which allows the dogs can go in and out as they please
“I cannot recommend Camille enough, she is a great walker/sitter. From day one, she treated my pet like family. I got regular updates, photos, and peace of mind every single time. If you’re looking for someone you can truly trust with your pet, this is the one!”

I am available on all major holidays and weekends, anytime day or night. I am looking for extra work between school semesters and around my part-time teaching schedule. I do not currently offer boarding, but I am happy to come to you! About: Hi! I’m a fellow dog mama who has booked walks and drop-ins for my own dog.. so I truly understand the trust it takes to hand over the leash. 🐾 I know what it feels like to leave your pup to a stranger, and the love you have for them in doing so, which is exactly why I care so much about communication, safety, and making sure your dog feels comfortable and happy. I stick to routines, give lots of love (if pup allows) and make sure your pup gets the exercise, attention, and stimulation they need. Whether it’s a structured walk, a quick potty break, or some company while you’re away, I treat every dog like they’re my own. You’ll get photo updates, clear communication, and peace of mind knowing your dog is with someone who genuinely gets it, because I’ve been on your side plenty of times. Im currently working part time so my schedule can be flexible for drops ins and weekly walks. Especially in the early mornings and late evenings! I ensure that your pup is with me only at all times. I’m watching them like a hawk bc I have a beagle that tries to vacuum everything so I’m hyper aware of what your pup is sniffing.
About: I’ve been working with animals for over 25 years, including 10 years as a veterinary technician and as a behavioral dog trainer. As a former vet tech, I’m comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, injectable), monitoring special-needs pets, and caring for both senior dogs and tiny puppies who need a little extra attention. My background in animal behavior allows me to read a dog’s body language, support anxious or high-energy pups, and create a calm, positive experience on every walk. Whether your dog needs structure, gentle reinforcement, behavior training, or just a patient friend, I’m confident, capable, and committed to their safety and comfort. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m currently not working a traditional job, which gives me plenty of time to focus on walking, caring for, and spending quality time with your fur baby. My schedule is very flexible — mornings, afternoons, evenings, and last-minute bookings all work for me. I love being outdoors, staying active, and making every walk a positive, enriching experience for the dogs I care for. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I prioritize comfort, consistency, and following your routine exactly as you outline it. I’m a detail-oriented and caring individual, so whether your pet needs medication, a specific feeding schedule, gentle reassurance, or extra playtime, I make sure everything is done just the way you prefer. My goal is to keep your pet feeling safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

Please message me for more details I will respond as soon as possible. I can crate dogs if necessary but I am first patience with pets who are apart from their parent for the first time and use gentle approaches to calm them down like soothing noises, gentle petting/cuddling and if we brought the nervousness down as low as possible I will give them a treat
“Kevin is so kind and patient! Our dog hasn’t been walked by anyone before and he was so easy going. He made sure our dog was calm before approaching and walking him. He also came over to meet our dog before booking. 10/10 we will use Kevin again!”

West Torrance dog parents share their Rover experiences
Carissa was our first dog walker for our 6month old golden retriever puppy Ruby. Carissa made us instantly feel comfortable about the process upon meeting her. She spent the time to understand Ruby’s routine with us and sent lots of updates on there walks. I would definitely recommend her and will be booking with her again. Plus our Ruby loved her!

Carolyn was an incredible help to us during a really busy stretch of work. Our dog Noodles can be a bit of a handful at times (classic herding-dog energy), but she handled her with such patience and care. It was clear how comfortable and happy Noodles was with her, which gave us total peace of mind. We trust Carolyn completely and will absolutely have her care for our sweet Noodles again !

Sarah provided consistent communication and understood each of our three dogs personalities in order to care for each in the best way possible. She was patient and understanding with our smallest and most skittish pup while still loving. She went above and beyond by cleaning up loose fur and always provided excellent feedback and pictures during walks. Would definitely ask her to help out again. Thank you Sarah!
