About: I’ve been working with animals for over 25 years, including 10 years as a veterinary technician and as a behavioral dog trainer. As a former vet tech, I’m comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, injectable), monitoring special-needs pets, and caring for both senior dogs and tiny puppies who need a little extra attention. My background in animal behavior allows me to read a dog’s body language, support anxious or high-energy pups, and create a calm, positive experience on every walk. Whether your dog needs structure, gentle reinforcement, behavior training, or just a patient friend, I’m confident, capable, and committed to their safety and comfort. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m currently not working a traditional job, which gives me plenty of time to focus on walking, caring for, and spending quality time with your fur baby. My schedule is very flexible — mornings, afternoons, evenings, and last-minute bookings all work for me. I love being outdoors, staying active, and making every walk a positive, enriching experience for the dogs I care for. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I prioritize comfort, consistency, and following your routine exactly as you outline it. I’m a detail-oriented and caring individual, so whether your pet needs medication, a specific feeding schedule, gentle reassurance, or extra playtime, I make sure everything is done just the way you prefer. My goal is to keep your pet feeling safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

About: I have been lucky enough to take care of animals for over 12 years. My first job was at an animal shelter where I was responsible for feeding, medication, walks and training dogs on how to acclimate to a new home. Since then I have worked in every aspect of animal care including sitting (12 years), training (10 years) and grooming (4 years). A proud pet parent myself, I will treat your animal as family. I am currently project based, and as such am available full time to take care of pet's needs. Extended stays (7 days or more) will require more notice than others. I know that pets thrive with routine. I will do everything I can to make your pet feel completely at ease in your absence and will send photos and progress reports every day. I also take safety very seriously, and no measure is too much in order to make sure your house and pet are secure and well taken care of.

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember; I’ve had several of all sizes throughout my life, and they were like siblings to me. I love dogs of all kinds; wherever I go, they seek me out, greet me, and let me pet them. I think that’s a great sign that I connect with them. I am a freelance videographer and video editor. I set my own schedule, so at any moment I can pause my editing work to go walk dogs or look after my son's cat when he travels. Yes, often. I take two dogs for a walk every day; I've been doing it for years, and babysitting my son's cat when he travels.

About: I’ve had my own dog, Lou, for the past three years, and caring for him has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of having a dog my own. I even asked for one every birthday and holiday, and when I couldn’t have one, I collected stuffed animals instead. When I finally got Lou, I treated him like family. I dedicated my summer breaks to training him, even waking up at 3 a.m. to stay consistent with his routine and help him become a well behaved, happy dog. Caring for Lou has taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of understanding each dog’s unique personality. I’ll care for your pet with the same love, attention, and dedication that I give my own. Weekends are when I’m most available! I’m happy to help with walks, drop-in visits, or pet sitting. We decided our pup needed more midday exercise than we could provide, so Jailene swooped right in to come on time everyday: friendly, confident, professional, and no frills. My dog even looks cool walking with her! They get an uphill mile in each weekday for 30 mins and our pup comes back worked, happy, and relaxed. About: Fur Baby Caretaker LLC OUT OF TOWN AUGUST 14th-17th!! I’ve absolutely adored animals since I was 4yrs old. I started getting educated on animals at a young age and knew my dream was to work with animals. I started my professional career in the industry in 2017. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for a year, then moved on to a facility for dogs and cats, which I worked at from 2018-2022. Over the years at these facilities, I’ve learned about proper care, training and grooming techniques for dogs, and care for cats. I have plenty of experience working with different breeds of dogs from the smallest teacup poodle, to the chunkiest bulldog, to the biggest Great Dane. I’ve worked with many different breeds, sizes and personalities in large daycare groups, so I’ve learned how to manage different demeanors in different settings. With cats, I understand their boundaries and don’t like to force any interaction on them, but if they are comfortable with it I give them lots of love. I’ve also volunteered at a shelter for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. At the shelter, I focused on learning how to properly care for rodents and cats. *I don’t discriminate against any pet’s breed, size, age, medical condition, etc. I treat them all with the best care.* **I am able to dispense oral medication to pets if necessary. I AM NOT CERTIFIED TO GIVE INJECTION (NEEDLE INVOLVED) MEDICATION** I work part time in Gardena in the afternoon-evening Mon-Fri, but typically am home or close by during most of the day and on weekends. I tend to stay local when running errands. My apartment is gated and a code or key is needed to enter the premises. We have a large grass area right out front, which is not gated. There’s plenty of grass and parks in the neighborhood to go to during walks. My apartment is on the second floor with the luxury of having the parking garage underneath me, so your pet running around the house won’t disturb anyone! I stay alert and aware of my surroundings at all times for safety purposes. I have multiple rooms and gates to separate pets when necessary (feeding, bedtime, rest breaks…etc.) My pets are flea treated regularly and stay up to date on their vaccines. **IMPORTANT NOTICE BELOW!!! In order to keep my home a healthy and clean environment for all, IF PETS ARRIVE WITH FLEAS I require a $50-$100 cleaning fee AND a flea bath may apply with a MINIMUM charge of $38/pet bathed. I HIGHLY recommend flea treatments and checking your pets for fleas BEFOREHAND to avoid additional charges. ADDITIONALLY, if your pet causes any damages to my property there will be a MINIMUM charge of $25 for repairs/replacements.**

About: I worked as a vet tech for 6 years and dog grooming for 4 years. Ive had dogs my whole life. I can't wait to meet your family member! I love walking and what's better than walking? Walking with a loving friend of the family. I will drop everything for a dog in need. I always make sure to keep open communication with the owners and other family members. About: We personally have a working dog breed with endless energy. Our pup also deals with separation anxiety, so we understand how to provide support dogs who experience the same issues . With 10+ years of dog companionship experience, you can feel comfortable knowing your family member is in good hands. Your pup will always have company and supervision in our home. I work 4 days a week and my husband wfh full time. He does travel periodically. Please see availability on the calendar for the most accurate schedule. I understand deeply how important it is treat every dog specific to their required needs. Every dog will be treated like my own family member. Please provide any quirks your pup may have. Miles does seek dominance with other male pups, for now we are only accepting spayed females.

About: I have always been a dog person after watching the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Ever since I was little we have always owned a dog, my god parents gave me a beautiful little shitzu but unfortunately we had to rehome him but years later I bought my own little maltese poodle. I have quite the experience with dogs because I’ve always been around them whether it’s my own, my family’s or friend’s. I currently only work 3 days out of the week as a receptionist in a chiropractor’s office so I have so much free time for your pups! I will spend time with your fur babies such as taking them on long walks, perhaps even teaching them a couple new tricks, cuddle with them and bathe them if you feel comfortable with that.

We live in a home with a spacious, fully fenced backyard that has plenty of sun and grass for your pet to enjoy safely. We’re also just one block from a large park with a huge open grass field, perfect for playtime, walks, and outdoor enrichment. I’m a very clean and organized person, and I always clean up after pets and keep spaces tidy. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll make sure everything stays neat, maintained, and respected while you’re away.

About: I have been in the vet industry for 5 years as a vet assistant/technician and currently in college to further my veterinary career. I absolutely love all animals and I am only working part time due to my schooling so I have extra time to spend with new fur babies! I have much experience with big & small dogs, shy, anxious and frightened dogs due to my work I know exactly how to approach and treat a dog and to build that trust and bond :) I have always owned all types of dogs and many cats since a child and now have a frenchie and cat of my own that I adore. I am currently working part time and create my own work schedule so I have plenty of time for last minute and scheduled pet care! Having a dog of my own who is not dog friendly all of the time, I know the importance of keeping them at a safe distance with others or when it is socially safe and acceptable for them to interact with other dogs and humans. From working in an environment with dogs that clients leave with us to keep safe I know the importance of doors to be closed as possibly when entering a home and keeping a leash on at all times. Safety will always be my top priority!
