I always like to meet a new pet and their human before confirming anything. I want to get to know you, your pet, and vice versa! It's great to know how they behave on leash, what kind(s) of triggers they have, what they enjoy, and what they do not enjoy. If your pet has any special needs, please let me know as well! It's also important to know how they behave around other people and animals, especially if I am taking them out for a walk. Safety is my #1 priority!

This all depends on what your dog likes! For my own dogs (when they could walk longer - they are senior now) - I used to love walking them to our nearby park and then take a lap around the park before heading home. I can walk your dog to nearby parks, around the block, etc - whatever you need! Note that I prefer not to go to dog parks. Even though they can be a ton of fun for your pup, they can also be quite unpredictable and usually require the dogs to be off leash. Because of those reason, I find it safer to just be able to play with your pup one on one without distractions! For drop in visits, I will make sure to take care of your pet in the same way as you do! I can feed them, give them medication/supplements, play fetch, run around, or give them a nice relaxing scritch on the belly :) Please be sure to tell me what your dog likes and I'll be sure to do my best to accommodate! I will even take them for walks if you would like! Anything that can be done within the allotted time! For walks, I will take your pet around your neighborhood for the amount of time requested! Please provide poop bags as well so I can pick up after them. If you have a certain route that you'd like me to walk, please let me know and I will walk that route! Otherwise, I love to just explore the area with your pet! I am very patient with them and I understand that sometimes pets will not want to walk without their person. I will walk at their pace and gently coax them along. If I see your pet has a lot of energy, I may even run a bit with them to burn that energy off! I will walk with your pet for the full amount of time requested. The only caveat is if your pet refuses to walk or they refuse to put on their harness/collar/leash/etc, the time it takes for me to get them ready for the walk will also count towards the walking time. For House Sitting, I will stay at your home and take care of your pet according to your directions. This can include play, walks, feeding, medication, brushing - pretty much anything you do in your daily routine! Please note that if you would like constant care during a house sitting, it is an extra charge of 50%. Constant care is if your pet cannot be alone for more than 2 hours at a time. Please let me know during your request if you would like constant care. If not, I will still still stay at your home as much as possible but may still leave for things such as errands, getting food, etc. Please let me know the maximum amount of time your pet can be left alone and I will ensure never to leave for longer than that. Even without constant care, rest assured I will be with at your home and with your pet(s) for the vast majority of the day!
