I got my first dog at 11 years old and along the way I’ve come to own cats, small animals, and fishes. In high school and college I spent some time volunteering at animals shelters shelters/organizations. In the most recent years I worked at a pet store, and gained a lot of hands on experience working with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fishes. I also became a certified dog trainer and groomer.

As a dog trainer and groomer your pet’s safety and comfort is a priority to me. I know that worrisome feeling of what it is to leave my babies in the hands of someone else, and I carry that same sentiment when interacting with your babies. My experience a trainer and groomer has given me the ultimate insight of reading body language and the importance of paying attention to details.

This is the second time we have used Amy to look over our cats. Her communication is great and she goes above and beyond to make sure our cats are doing their best!
Amy was an excellent sitter. My cats warmed up to her quickly and were comforted by her presence. I appreciated the many entertaining pictures in the Rover cards during each check-in. She followed all instructions (feeding schedules, litter checks, and cleaning). She understood the cats' needs beyond just food and litter box emptying and even cleaned extra at the end of the scheduled sitting. I truly appreciate her attention to detail and the care she showed for both my cats and my home. If she's still available the next time I need a cat sitter, I will likely call upon her services again.
Amy is a great choice for your next sitter! Our usual sitter fell through, so I joined Rover at the last minute before I had to leave on a trip. Amy was super accommodating, and was able to come over and get everything sorted out the next day! I needed to extend my trip halfway through and Amy was able to help out for those additional days as well. Her flexibility and understanding was so helpful. In terms of pet care, she did a great job interacting with my two kitties. She was easy to communicate with, and followed my suggestions to help coax out my shy boy so he could get some love! I’ll definitely be rebooking with her in the future.

Amy was wonderful with pet and house sitting. Our dogs were exercised and taken out much more than usual and we got many pictures of them happy, healthy, and not shy at all around her. She kept our place in place perfectly clean, tidying up the day we got home so we wouldn't have anything to worry about. We've even given our personal recommendation to neighbors in our pet friendly apartment. We will definitely be booking her again for any future needs as both us and our dogs were sooo happy with the service she provided.
Amy is such an animal lover! She worked at Petco both as a trainer and a groomer, and it is so easy to tell she loved her work. She also personally dog sat for me and took the best care of my dog Domino. She made sure he was walked, fed, and had plenty of TLC during her stay. She also sent me lots of pictures without me even asking! Amy would be a wonderful addition to the Rover community and they would be lucky to have her. :)
