They have a great fenced in yard where the dogs can run and lay in the sun, and one of them is always able to be home with the dogs. About: Andrew and Jess!! My mother was an AKC toy poodle breeder for 30 years so we had dogs in the house my entire life. We also had a Golden for 12 years who patrolled the back yard. Mom got a Great Dane in my teens and we used to try and ride her but such a lazy house dog. My little buddy toy poodle of almost 14 years passed in November 22'. After living in Yellowstone National Park a few months I just returned home and we figured was time for some liveliness in the apartment. I can also bath and groom (Wahl clippers), clip nails and just have an eye for issues. Have multiple brushes and flea combs. I keep a Bissel Revolution 2 for messes and have experience giving medications with either food (peanut butter or your choice), syringe and eye drops. I don't have a yard BUT Clark Field is my backyard behind the apartment and we're a minute walk to the Greenbelt. So, it would mostly be me here but Jess is around after 6 and on weekends and Wed/Fri WFH so a lot of coverage. We have a great little patio as well with a full wall sliding glass door, so for those dogs that love the sun or need some fresh air, it's a great little spot. I'm home all day trying to transition out of start-up world. Jess; girlfriend of 5 years is a toy designer and WFH Wed and Friday so we're always around and/or walking the Strand and Greenbelt. We're more than happy to prioritize any pet care. We don't have plants in the house and are cognizant on keeping kitchen items (chemicals ect) or anything a dog could get into secure. We're happy to treat and look after your pups to your liking and wishes, albeit length of time outside, where they sleep, interactions with people and other dogs and not afraid to clean up or wipe a butt as needed (LOL).We pay attention to sounds, watch when they are eating and are conscientious of behaviors that seem off/odd. With recently having a senior dog that I stayed home with his last 5 years, the labor of love, carrying him downstairs due to bad hips or hand feeding him when ill is all I know to do. Additionally now as I've seen how hard it can be to keep up with cleaning; the Bissell Pet Revolution Pro II is great and I'm not using mine all too much, happy to rent it out for the day with either Clean and Protect, Stain & Odor, Oxy, Antibacterial or Max cleaning solutions. It has attachments as well for upholstery.(please see photos at end of gallery) This was after just one 4 day stay with a young Huskie. Lastly, Pet CPR courses offered are a bit gimmicky (35 mins online ect.) I am an actual FEMA CERT member here in Hermosa Beach and LA County which entailed 8 weeks with the LAFD and am knowledgeable on what to do in case of emergencies regarding buildings, people and pets. (see photo in gallery) Edit Sept. 23' (2nd Lastly) It has come to my attention that more coyotes are in the area and I stay very diligent and aware on walks. I keep all dogs I watch close to me when walking and your dogs safety and well being is my utmost priority.

About: Many years experience caring for animals as a professional trainer. I participate in numerous dog sports-agility, obedience and scent work Specializing in senior pups 1.5 miles from LAX// 5 miles to SoFi Stadium Insured for your protection I am retired so I have lots of time to accommodate my canine clients. My days include spending time outside gardening, training my pups and walking. Depending on the pups energy and interest, I like to include them in these activities as well. I have a fully fenced yard which allows my canine visitors plenty of outdoor sun time or chasing a ball. If appropriate, your dog can mingle inside with my pups or have their own snuggle time on the sofa.

“Stephanie was God sent to us!! We have a feisty dog , Peanut, who hates everyone except those that live in the same household , I think it’s partly because he’s half chihuahua. My concern when we first met Stephanie was that Peanut was going to act out like he normally does and she would decline our booking, however, an early Xmas miracle happened and he got excited, jumping up and down and licking Stephanie when he met her. I knew that second that we had nothing to worry about while on vacation for almost 2 weeks. Stephanie gave prompt updates after each visit along with a lot of adorable pictures, which I’ve saved to my phone as she captured so many beautiful pics of Peanut. Seeing the way Peanut lovingly looked at Stephanie (like the heart eyes emoji) both in pictures and in person when we returned from vacation was more than confirmation that he was in great hands. We arrived from vacation today , got an opportunity to see Stephanie and he cried when she said her goodbyes. Will definitely be booking her in the near future. Even my two year old nephew loved her! Like they say, children and pets can always tell genuine people apart and Stephanie is definitely genuine, warm, caring , friendly, we are team Stephanie in the Portillo household!”
