About: My experience with animal care goes back to my childhood. Growing up in a house with two cats and one dog, I’ve had exposure to the important needs, including care, love, and attention to both Cats and Dogs. The Cats from my childhood were given the proper love and attention they needed to live a very long, healthy life up until the ages of 16 and 20, with the eldest passing in early January of 2024. With this comes my experience in care for senior animals as well as animals with certain disabilities. My eldest cat became blind at around the age of 17 due to kidney disease, and we were able to maintain her quality of life despite this condition for 3 wonderful more years. Additionally, I grew up in a home with a rescue shiatsu/lhasa apso for several years where I learned about the complexities and differences of care between cats and dogs. Throughout my college years I spent many days caring for dogs of nearby friends and family, such as the two beautiful goldens as seen in my photos! Since moving to LA 3 years ago, I’ve become a regular at the Bluff Creek Dog Park, Glen Alla Park, and the Mar Vista Rec Center. I work a full time job hybrid style! I am in office during regular business hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but available any other days during the week/weekend. I can easily watch for any animals in homes/apartments as need be. I am highly aware of my surroundings and predicting animal actions if briefed on their behavior prior to my care. About: I have two dogs and one cat currently but three cats in the past! I love all animals and feel connected towards them. I have been working specifically dog walking and sitting for about two years on apps like wag. I am a psychology major and want to work with service animals in the future! I am in school finishing up my degree and minor and mostly do online. I want to work with service animals so dog walking and sitting is a perfect way to gain experience and knowledge on all different kinds of animals and breeds. About: Hiya! My name is Consuelo. I am new to Redondo Beach, but lived in Denver for 7 years and throughout my years there I have took care of my friend's pets, dogs & cats. At times where they had events where they had to leave their pets alone for a long time, I always enjoyed stepping in to give their fur babies the love they need while their parents were away. I've bathed and administered medicine for dogs so far. I don't have experience injecting medicines for them but have given dogs and cats oral and eye medicine. I love to take the fur buddies out for walks, some short some long, depending on the weather or if they have any in injuries. Spending time with them has been for me the most enjoyable of times. I work part time and am up early so I have the flexibility to help with the pups to give them a little walk and a little love. I make sure the pets feel safe first of all and respect their boundaries. I follow their schedule and listen to their needs to make sure they're happy.
