“This was our first time using Rover for drop-in visits, and Erik made the experience very smooth. He even did a meet-up beforehand to make sure our dog was comfortable with him. He was very responsive and great at giving updates, which gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend him!”

“I really wanted someone good with cats. My boy is extremely shy and timid. He has not done well in the past being dropped off with someone, and certainly is no fan of the vet’s office. He is likely to hide from strangers, too. Probably the only one more anxious about my leaving him was me. I wanted him to be able to stay in his own home while I was away. I arranged for daily drop-ins from Sami, and...it went great! She followed all instructions perfectly regarding feeding, watering, treating, setting the stereo as well as giving him some brushing and playtime. He even came out looking for her on the 2nd visit, asking for many pets, and also ate his treats out of her hand. He must have sensed she is a cat-lover. All the pictures helped a lot, too – just seeing he was getting taken care of made a big difference. Sami also let me know the autofeeder wasn’t working properly (I had programmed the wrong time for 1 of the daily feedings), and we rearranged the feeding instructions via text so that he remained well-fed. When I got home, he was happy and calm, and got right back into his normal routine with me. I would definitely use Sami again, and recommend her!”

“Alex was so incredibly communicative and professional while watching my cat over the holidays! I really felt safe with her and the peace of mind she provided was wonderful. She even administered his inhaler! I would absolutely recommend Alex for your pet sitting needs.”

“We are lucky to have Donny as our go-to cat sitter! He has consistently gone above and beyond in caring for our cats, and we couldn't recommend him more highly. When one of our cats was unwell and needed complicated medical care (pills, ear drops, isolation from other animals - you name it), Donny handled everything with ease and professionalism, which was so reassuring. I would recommend him 100 times over if your pet has medical or other special needs. He’s incredibly easy to work with and our cats love him! He’s even managed to teach (one of) them tricks - it’s clear he has a special gift for connecting with animals. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like their own, Donny is the person you want.”

“Hunter took care of our cat Simon during our trip home to The Netherlands and could not have been more happy with her! She took amazing care of Simon, made sure he got everything he needed and she sent us plenty of pictures of our fur baby. We will definitely ask Hunter again in the future when we are traveling 💛”

“Courtney took care of Taco for 10 days at her place, I am so thankful. She kept me updated and sent photos while I was out of the country. I’ve never left him this long, but she made sure he was given all the cuddles and attention he needed. Definitely recommend her! I will be coming back to her in the future. Thanks again Courtney!!”

“Ginny was AWESOME! Lisa cat is not especially social, but Ginny managed to engage with her during our nine days away and sent lots of fun pics. The house was well cared for and mail and packages picked up daily. I hope to use Ginny every time we travel!!”

“Shardae hosted our cat while we were away for a weekend. Her communication throughout the stay was excellent - she sent regular updates and photos which gave us great peace of mind. She made sure our cat had plenty of things to do and birds to watch! Shardae was accommodating with pick-up and drop-off times, which we really appreciated. We were especially grateful for her care since our cat was still recovering from jaw surgery, and Shardae handled this with confidence. We felt completely comfortable leaving our cat in her hands and will definitely book with her again for future stays.”

“My cats instantly trusted Ciai, which says a lot! She fed them, cleaned their litter, and spent time playing with them so they weren’t lonely. She was reliable, caring, and made me feel at ease while I was away. Highly recommend her and will definitely book again.”

“We had a great first experience with Catherine, she was such a pleasant person to work with. Extremely reliable and provided updates and photos with every visit - she really put us at ease. My MIL’s senior dogs loved her! Will definitely book again in the future, and I would trust her with my own dogs as well.”

“I don’t know what the deal was with the terrible review -it seems trollish IMO. Tanner is the BEST pet sitter we have ever had. So take that hyperbolic review with a truck load of salt. We have 4 needy pets who are wondering where Tanner is as I sit here. I think they love him more than they do us?! Tanner deserves your business because he is awesome!! I would definitely recommend him to any and all.”
Walteria cat parents share their Rover experiences
It was an absolute pleasure to have Jennifer sit on our cats over the holiday period. She was incredibly flexible when there was a need to drop in one day earlier, and she went the extra mile many times for our cats. She took care of the house as well and followed all our instructions to the tee. She also sent us very detailed and regular updates and was always available to answer questions and flexible enough for what we needed. We would absolutely hire her back for our future trips, thank you so much!

Anastasiia was great. She not only aced the sitter/care instructions, but went above and beyond in taking care of the home: -had own printed form and took notes during meet & greet -cleaned exterior of litterboxes -vacuumed & emptied out vacuum -took out trash, bathroom & main -cleaned up a few spots around apartment (more organized than before) -Christmas present as a 1st time sitter

We booked our holiday travel a little late in the year and our normal supply of family/friends who cat-sit for us were unavailable. I took a chance on Rover and found Allen and it all worked out splendidly! I met Allen before we left, gave him a quick intro to our cat Lisette, and away we went. I also left written instructions just in case and Allen followed them to a T. He sent photos and a video every day, putting my fears to rest about leaving our cat alone for the first time (we adopted her 6 months ago). I recommend Allen 100%! We will definitely be calling him again.

Savannah was a wonderful help while we were away. She takes great care of our place and puts the cats as her first priority. She always gives a detailed message and knows how Tom and Ciri like their litter/food/water/play time. She spoils them while we are away and we know they are in good hands. Tom and Ciri are always well cared for when we return. Thank you!

Ilise was such a sweetheart with my two pets! They both are very particular with their behavior, and Ilise did a great job with both of their personalities. My dog loved her a whole bunch and she was very thorough caring for my animals. Definitely will rebook!!!
