About: Hi, I’m Moira! I’m a recent college graduate with a BA degree, and I’m so excited to offer loving, reliable care for your pets. Animals have been a core part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I’ve had the joy of caring for everything from dogs and cats to bunnies, hamsters, and guinea pigs! Because of this lifelong experience, I have a deep connection with animals and understand their unique personalities, routines, and body language. Whether your pet needs an active walk, gentle playtime, or just a cozy companion while you're away, I treat every animal in my care like family. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and dedicated to keeping your pets happy, safe, and loved! Pet care is truly the highlight of my day! Aside from attending school on weekday evenings, my schedule is completely open. I’m available every weekday morning and afternoon for drop-in check-ins, energetic playtime, feeding, and walks. My weekends are also entirely free, so I can give your pets my undivided attention! I love building my day around keeping animals happy, comfortable, and well-cared for, ensuring they get all the sweet affection they deserve while you’re busy. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my absolute highest priorities. Having grown up with pets my entire life, I naturally treat every animal as if they were my own. I pay strict attention to detail, following your exact care routines, securing all doors and gates, and creating a calm, soothing atmosphere where your pet feels totally at ease. Whether it’s double-checking leashes or sending you sweet photo updates, I ensure your pet stays safe, cherished, and loved while you’re away.
“Suzanne was amazing with our dog while we were away! She was reliable, kind, and kept us updated, which gave us great peace of mind. Our dog was clearly well cared for. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her!”

“Britney was terrific!! She took good care of our senior cat who recently lost her sister. It was our first time leaving Romy all alone and Britney gave her the love and attention she needed in our absence. Britney was on time and very communicative about what Romy was up to each day and evening. When we saw the photos of Romy rolling over for belly rubs we knew a new friendship was forged! Thank you Britney!”

“Paige was an amazing caregiver for our cats. She showed them so much love and attention in addition to taking care of them. I look forward to her taking care of them again in the future!”

About: Hi! I may not have a ton of recent reviews, but I’ve been on Rover since 2019, and animals have always been my passion 🐾 I currently work as a relief veterinary assistant at CAMP LA in San Pedro and have been there for 5 years. Over that time, I’ve worked both full-time and part-time, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and medical care. These days, I’ve shifted into a more flexible schedule so I can spend time with my baby, but animal care is still a huge part of my life and something I truly love doing. I’m also continuing my education to become an RVT and have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. I absolutely love what I do, and honestly, I’ll probably be more excited to meet your pet than they are to meet me 😅 During the weekdays, I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my little one is with me. Because of that, I do require pets to be very friendly and comfortable around a baby. She’s gentle and used to animals she treats our two cats like royalty. Current availability: Drop-in visits Dog walks (best for dogs ~40 lbs or under) For larger dogs or house sitting, I’m available during evening/night hours (around 8 PM–4 AM). If your pet is a good fit, I would truly love to care for them and treat them like my own. I currently work as a relief veterinary technician, and since becoming a mom my schedule is more flexible, but my little sidekick comes with me 😊 (don’t worry, she’s friendly… just a tiny gremlin lol). Services I offer: Drop-in visits: All sizes welcome, as long as your dog is friendly House sitting: Available for friendly pets Dog walking: Small to medium dogs preferred; larger dogs are okay for walks during evening/night hours when my baby is asleep (for everyone’s safety) Boarding: Small dogs only (apartment rules), must be friendly with babies and cats My goal is to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy me, my baby, and your pet 🐾💛 I live in an apartment (not fenced), so for boarding in my home, I can only accept small dogs. Your pet must be very friendly and comfortable around a toddler and cats, as I have an 18-month-old and two cats at home. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. Why you can trust me: I’ve been pursuing a career in animal care for years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Humboldt State University and also have my veterinary assistant certification. I’ve worked at CAMP LA in San Pedro for 5 years as a veterinary assistant and currently work as a relief technician on weekends while continuing my education to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I’ve also volunteered with Marine Mammal Care Center and have two sweet male cats of my own. My goal is simple: To provide a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where your pet is treated like family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them comfortable, I’ll make sure they feel cared for every step of the way 💛
“This was our first time using Rover for drop-in visits, and Erik made the experience very smooth. He even did a meet-up beforehand to make sure our dog was comfortable with him. He was very responsive and great at giving updates, which gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend him!”

About: I’ve always been a dog person! I grew up around animals and have had both cats and dogs my whole life. For the past 14 years, I’ve also cared for friends’, family members’, and neighbors’ pets, so I’m experienced with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I love getting outside for walks—whether it’s a quick neighborhood stroll or a longer adventure, whatever is best for your pup. I had a baby in February, and we’ve made daily walks and hikes part of our routine. Since losing my own dog in May, I’ve really missed having a furry walking companion. I’ll typically have my baby with me, either in a stroller or baby carrier, so your dog will need to be comfortable around babies. I’m reliable, patient, and will treat your dog like my own. I’ll always make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and love, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know they’re having a great time. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. I’m able to provide walks, check-ins, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I love having animals as part of my routine and enjoy making sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. I only offer pet care in the client’s home, as I have a cat of my own who prefers being the only furry friend in the house. In your home, I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for by providing lots of love, feeding, walks, playtime, and attention. I’ll also help keep things tidy along the way so your home is just as you left it.
About: I am an educator and musician who loves animals and enjoys spending time outdoors. I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a child. As an animal lover and cat owner myself, I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. Whether it’s a dog walk, a drop-in visit, feeding, playtime, or simply providing companionship while you’re away, I take pride in treating every pet with kindness, patience, and attention. I understand that pets are cherished members of the family, and I strive to provide the same level of care and affection that I would want for my own pet. My professional background has taught me the importance of reliability, genuine care, communication, and attention to detail—qualities I bring to every pet care visit. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work part-time, which gives me the flexibility to arrange my schedule around my clients’ needs and provide dependable care for their pets. The safety and well-being of your pets is always my top priority. I treat every dog and cat as if they were my own and take care to follow each pet’s routine, instructions, and personality needs closely. During dog walks, I use secure leash handling at all times and remain alert to surroundings, other animals, and potential hazards. I avoid unsafe interactions with unfamiliar dogs and always prioritize calm, controlled, and positive experiences for your pet. For cat sitting and drop-in visits, I ensure doors and windows are securely closed, litter boxes are cleaned properly, food and water are refreshed, and your cat is comfortable and stress-free. I also take time to provide companionship and gentle interaction based on each cat’s comfort level. I am reliable, punctual, and communicative, and I provide updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. In case of any emergency, I will contact you immediately and follow any instructions you provide, including reaching out to your preferred veterinarian if needed. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, cared for, and genuinely looked after while you are away.
“Absolutely the best cat sitter who has watched our cat numerous times! From the very first day, Ivy was professional, incredibly organized, caring and communicative. We received wonderful daily updates and pictures that showed our cat was completely relaxed and happy. It gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our home was left completely clean and tidy, and our fur baby was perfectly cared for. We will absolutely be booking Ivy again and highly recommend her services to any pet parent!”

About: I have always had a special place in my heart for pets, I truly think they are one of the best parts of life. I would love to care for your pets! My partner and I currently live in a home with ample indoor and outdoor space for your furry friend. I used to work as a wildlife caretaker for 3 years caring for small mammals, reptiles and birds of prey. These days, I am very dedicated to my Chocolate Lab Max, who lives back in Florida. He is my best friend! I have never met an animal I didn't love, even if they needed a little bit more patience and care. I understand how important furry friends are and will take every measure I can to make sure you have peace of mind while your animal is being cared for. My partner and I are both flexible with our schedules and able to tailor our care to your pets needs! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can accommodate most schedules and needs, as well as provide ample attention and time to your fur baby. I make sure to treat my clients homes with the utmost respect and care. I have pet sit for different friends and families throughout the years and understand that allowing me into your home means upholding a high level of trust and safety. As a pet parent myself, I make sure to send updates so you have peace of mind that your fur baby is safe with me!

“This was my first time using Rover, and it was hands down the BEST experience I could have asked for, especially with Chris caring for my dog & cat! 🐾 Chris has incredible communication skills and kept me updated every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind :) He is also extremely punctual and reliable, especially when it comes to feeding and walking schedules, which meant everything to me & more. The level of love and care he showed my animals was truly top notch. He followed every instruction perfectly and still found ways to go above and beyond in so many thoughtful ways. For the first time in a very long time, I was actually able to relax and disconnect from “pet mom mode” because I knew my animals were being cared for exactly how I would care for them, if not even better. I also loved the pictures Chris sent, you could genuinely see how much fun my pets were having with him, and somehow he even got my cat to come out and play, which says everything. If you’re thinking about booking with Chris, do it!!! You’ll thank me later & your pets will gain a new best friend 🐾”

“Genuinely can’t put into words how much my dogs and I love Brianna!! Moving to a new state and trusting someone new with your babies can be scary and she has more than made us feel welcome and safe in a new home! My dogs absolutely adore her and I’m so grateful to have someone so great to care for my pups when I’m away.”

About: I grew up with a dog in the house, and have also become a cat mom! I am more than happy to provide your pet with love and care while you are away. No dog too big or too small for me! My schedule is fairly flexible and fluctuates so I am usually available when most people are at work, which hopefully is ideal for you! I love being outdoors and surrounding myself in nature. I would be more than happy to have your pet with me for a walk and picnic in the park.
“Christeen kept in touch with photos and messages while were away and our 3 cats seemed happy, food and water dishes were full. We will happily recommend Christeen as a pet sitter! Great communication!”

“Diana was wonderful with our two cats during our 6 days trip. She was reliable, caring, and made sure they were happy, well fed, and comfortable while we were away. She kept us updated, which gave us great peace of mind.”

About: I've had pets my entire life and have been caring for dogs and cats since I was a very young girl. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to feed, walk, check in on, and love their animals. I'm calm, attentive, and treat every pet as if they were my own. I'm available for pet sitting and will give your home and pets the same care and respect I'd want for my own. I know when they are happy, sad, upset & in pain. I'm an early riser who works from home, which means I'm present during the day and evening. Pets in my care benefit from a calm, consistent environment with someone who is genuinely around — not just passing through. Morning walks, regular feeding, and attentive check-ins fit naturally into my daily routine. I treat every client's home with the utmost respect — as if it were my own. I am attentive, observant, and take the safety of every pet seriously. I maintain feeding routines, keep doors and gates secured, and stay alert to any changes in a pet's behavior or health. You will always know your pet and home are in trustworthy hands. I have very keen situational awareness.
“We highly recommend Jaza for all your pet sitter needs! She is a great communicator and very knowledgeable! Our Miso is shy and scared and Jaza was able to create a trusting bond with him in just a few days! This was the first time we left him and he had an accident the first day from nerves. Jaza went above and beyond to clean and sanitize the area and helped him feel comfortable. Her patience with him helped me feel less anxious about leaving him. We will absolutely have Jaza watch Miso for all future trips. Miso was a happy cat when we returned, thank you Jaza!”

“Hands down, the best dog sitter you could ever ask for. Ashley was accessible, friendly, incredibly reliable and assured me that Sullivan was in good hands during my trip. Highly recommended!”
About: I’ve had two furries, a cat and a dog and they are currently with my family living in NYC. I have experience taking care of them for over 3 years since they are just a kitten and a puppy. I helped my puppy Labrador Retriever break her potty and other aspects of training. I am calm and resilient. At the same time, I truly care about the furries and try to match my energies to theirs when it comes to exercise! I enjoy taking care of paw friends including Labrador Retriever, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Husky, Australian Cattle, Pomeranian, Forkie, and more. I go for a jog or a run during the weekend no matter what. So, your paw friends would be part of it in the mornings and evenings. Generally, I will give a morning run or a walk for 30 minutes and potty breaks every 2-3 hours during the weeks/ends. Before dinner time, I’d make sure to give them a brief walk as well, as I need one to wrap up my day. During the weekend, I will take your furry friends everywhere I go, unless I have to go dining somewhere/church for 2-4 hours. You let me know if you'd like me to let you know in advance so you are comfortable with it. I have two Nest Cameras installed in the house specifically facing toward the entrance door, balcony, too, and of course your furry friends. I can always see the alert of what’s happened throughout the day + anything that happens will be recorded for safety purposes!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Rolling Hills
Britney has helped with my fur babies (two special needs cats) three times now. Every time has been a wonderful experience for me. I trust that they are in safe and loving hands. Britney is consistent with sending feedback, updates and photos. I will definitely continue to use her help in the future.
Christina goes above and beyond and is extremely available and responsive. She is also very patient with my very shy pet making an effort to reach out and comfort her while I am away. She is the best on all aspects and I am extremely happy with her capabilities and open, clear communication.

Savannah was a wonderful help while we were away. She takes great care of our place and puts the cats as her first priority. She always gives a detailed message and knows how Tom and Ciri like their litter/food/water/play time. She spoils them while we are away and we know they are in good hands. Tom and Ciri are always well cared for when we return. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
