About: Aside from personal experience, I used to volunteer at an Animal Shelter socializing, grooming, playing and providing care for dogs and cats (young and old). I’ve had cats of my own over the years, and adopted a new kitten around a year ago! I grew up taking care of family cats and dogs, and stray cats in my neighborhood. About: Hello my name is Kathy, I’m a 21 year old who’s always had a special love for pets. I am currently in school to become a vet assistant and need two more courses to complete it. School has already taught me how and where to give injections, CPR, blood draws, how to read and distribute medicine, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. I also have experience in whelping and breeding. Im currently working part time which usually only consists of 4hrs and school is from the mornings every Monday and Wednesday in person while Tuesday I have online. My schedule is pretty flexible and able to work around to watch any pet! I myself have two babies of my own. I have one dog named snoop who is a 5 month old Doberman and a cat named chapo who just turned 1 in April. Chapo is very to himself but occasionally like to be cuddled he gets fed twice a day along with snoop. Ruby was great! I booked last minute when I was out of town because I was having trouble getting someone to stop by and feed my cat. She was willing to stop by same day, even though I was only able to book the next day. She was super attentive and communicative.
Amy was an excellent sitter. My cats warmed up to her quickly and were comforted by her presence. I appreciated the many entertaining pictures in the Rover cards during each check-in. She followed all instructions (feeding schedules, litter checks, and cleaning). She understood the cats' needs beyond just food and litter box emptying and even cleaned extra at the end of the scheduled sitting. I truly appreciate her attention to detail and the care she showed for both my cats and my home. If she's still available the next time I need a cat sitter, I will likely call upon her services again.
