Loving your pets like you do!Cypress, CA

I am a lifelong animal lover as well as Certified Dog Trainer/AKC Evaluator that loves your pets like you do. My home is set up for the comfort of your dog. I am home full time except for the occasional errand. It is my sincere desire to provide a high quality, nurturing and safe environment for your pet. Please check with me on all requests because I get bookings through other venues as well as Rover and my calendar may show availability when I am actually full. I take a limited amount of boarding dogs so as to provide your dog with the best of care. I fill up quickly so booking way ahead of time is best. My care is an extension of what you yourself provide for your pet. I recognize that all dogs are different and cater each pet in my care to meet their individual needs. I am able to accommodate all sizes and breeds together or separate, whatever their comfort level. You should feel confident that your pet will be safe and happy in my care. Your pet will receive individual attention as well as plenty of play with other available dogs. As a partner in your pet's care my desire is to keep lines of communication open at all times as my interaction with you is as important as my interaction with your pet. My goal is to provide your pet with a stellar experience and ensure their desire to return to my care in the future. As a positive trainer I am able to work with individual dogs and help them with any behavior issues you might have concerns with. Your dog(s) become part of my pack and build their self esteem. Please read on to see what a couple of my past clients have said:

"I met Brigitt a couple years ago through the therapy dog program, Pet Prescription Team, that certified our dogs. She has been a life saver with my animals many times!

I have a 22 year old cat in renal failure and she has always stepped in when I have to go out of town. She not only feeds, brushes, and gives him extra love, she also gives him his fluid treatments that he needs every other day!

I also have a new Australian Shepherd puppy and he has been going to her house for day care during my work hours for the last 3 weeks. I am a veterinarian, so having a safe place is essential. Not only is it safe, but Brigitt supplies an enriched, active environment for my busy little guy!!

She is caring and pays attention to all their needs. Brigitt also has extra training in animal behavior and really enjoys interacting with them. I trust her with all my animals and recommend her highly if you are needing pet care."

Carol McLaughlin, DVM

and:

"My dog , Roxy has stayed with Brigitt many times. Brigitt is amazing with dogs! She is calm and caring and seems to sense what the dog needs. My Roxy is completely spoiled when she stays with her! When I am on vacation I can actually relax knowing my "fur-baby" is getting the best of care. When I went on vacation this past summer, Brigitt went and picked up Roxy from my house and brought her to her house for the week. While there, Roxy has access to children, who she loves , other dogs and a big yard, which give her playtime and exercise and Brigitt who literally let Roxy sleep in her bed! Roxy came home fit and well behaved...gotta love that! I have recommended her services to my friends many times. You will not find a more caring "dog-sitter" than Brigitt!"

Team Lee.

Little Wesley's Happy Hideaway!California Heights, California Heights, Long Beach, CA

Hello!, My name is Mary Sullivan, and I live with my 12 year old rescued Westie Mix, Wesley, in our modest 1938 home in the Cal-Heights Historic District. Our house has a locked and secure front and back yard and garage, and, with pleasure, we do allow our doggie guests on the furniture. All of our doggie guests sleep safely indoors -- never outdoors, at night, with us, in our bedroom.

Wes enjoys the company of all of our doggie guests, especially rescued and adopted doggies! I work mainly from home and have a fairly flexible schedule which allows us to devote specific individual attention to each doggie guest and provide regular walkies. Wes and I have had the pleasure of providing a great deal of pet and house-sitting for various friends and family over the years, in addition to acquiring additional experience in professional pet care while co-owning a traditional bed and breakfast for dogs and cats. We are extremely detail-oriented, conscientious, responsible, and protective of everyone in our care.

Upon request, we offer special discounted rates to pairs of two small doggie guests!, and, discounts on extended stays that are one week or longer. In addition, we offer special discounts to active and retired members of the United States Armed Forces, in thanks for their service. Also, we do not charge an additional fee to walk your doggie(s), as Wes also needs to be walked, and we enjoy the extra company. Nor, do we charge a fee for administering medications, or other special needs.

Please Note: In the interest of the health of your pet, please observe that we do require that we schedule a meet-n-greet before accepting new bookings; a copy of your doggie(s) current vaccination records; that their anti-flea drops/meds are up to date; and that they are wearing their current i.d. tags (even if they are micro-chipped). In addition, we do gladly accept last minute Reservation Requests, however, we really only do so with doggie folks with whom we have already established a solid working relationship.

Thank you very much!, and please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have...

Sincerely,

Mary & Wes

Home Away from HomeWestchester, Los Angeles, CA

I love dogs and welcome them into my home as a member of my family. They have complete run of the house and large, secure backyard. I enjoy going for walks, playing ball and going to the dog park and the beach if that is what my dog guest enjoys. I provide 24/7 care and my guests can choose to sleep in the comfortable provided dog bed or join me in my bed. I have 10+ years working with dogs and have trained for two years with a nationally known trainer specializing in obedience, agility and protection. I can administer oral and injectable medications, perform canine CPR and have experience with special needs dogs. I would welcome the opportunity to provide your best friend with a fun and secure vacation while offering you the peace of mind knowing that your dog will be loved and cared for while you are away.

About this sitter:

I am a true dog lover with extensive experience caring for all breeds of dogs. As I work at home I am able to provide 24/7 care for my doggy guests in my private home which offers at will access to a large fully secure backyard.

Why I love dog sitting

I have always been really into dogs and got my first puppy, Poochie, when I was one. I have always had a dog until last year when I lost my beloved German Shepherd Dog.

I do not yet feel ready to get another dog of my own but am really enjoying spending time with all of my dog guests. This provides me with the opportunity to have all kinds of dogs! I could never own all of the dogs I want because I want them all. (So many cuties, so little time.)

Meet my pets

I currently have no other dogs or cats living with me but do have five birds which are kept in a separate area. I have a large, fully fenced, secure backyard with trees, grass and lots of toys.

About my yard

I have a large, fully fenced backyard with a gate that locks with a key. I also employ a baby gate system so access to external doors is not a factor. When someone comes to the door I put up the gate to prevent any possible dog exit.

My experience administering medication

Yes I can administer oral and injectable medications.

Please be advised that I am not currently excepting any dogs over 50 pounds that have not stayed with me previously. Thank you for your understanding. I look forward to spending time with you and your pup.

Donna's Doggie DaycareLos Altos, Long Beach, CA

I have been a pet owner my whole adult life. I have had three Yorkshire Terriers at one time and three rescue dogs at one time. .

I do not take Jack Russel Terriers or Pitbull or Boxer breeds.

My home is great for pets as it is on a very quiet street and I have a very large backyard which is very secluded. The pets will have free roam of my home..

I live alone and lead a very quiet and pleasant life. I am retired so when I have a guest pet or pets I am free to devote all my time to them.

I will play with my guest dogs and there is a wonderful area for the pets to sunbathe.

I am a very caring person. Being a pet owner all these years I know how important it is to have a place you can bring your pet to for care and to feel fully confident that your pet is in good hands.
