“I was nervous at first to leave my dog with anyone other than family but from day one Tatiana eased all my fears. She was so patient and attentive to mine and Canela’s needs. She sent videos and photos daily which let me see how well cared for my furbaby was in real time. My puppy was so happy in her care and didn’t seem to miss a beat. I am so thankful to have found her on Rover already looking to book again in the future.”

“Chen and her family were amazing with my senior puppy, Dudley. Dudley is an 18-year-old terrier mix that is moving around much slower these days. I had a last-minute need due to my usual dog boarder becoming unavailable a few days before 12 day trip to Italy. Chen was able to meet with Dudley and the meet last minute request. They were amazing with Dudley and am very grateful.”

“Gina was a wonderful caregiver to my almost 14 yr old Boston terrier for the weekend while I was away moving. She was able to take Lena on short notice which I’m very grateful to her for. My dog really enjoyed her stay!”

“Nick and Cora! Such lovely people with good hearts! My puppy Rue enjoyed her stay in their lovely home. They sent pictures of Rue eating and walking and gave updates during her stay. Rue gets anxious when she is left alone and their home was the perfect place for her. They both took really good care of my puppy and it reflected when I picked Rue up on the last day! Will definitely re book with them in the future.”

“Ivette was vey welcoming and kind to my little Charly. She had no issues tending to Charly meal routine aswell as his exercise needs. Charly was very happy when picking him up, which is always a very good sign that he had a good stay. Thank you and would 10/10 recommend to everyone”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Larissa! From the very first meet-and-greet, I knew Jasper would be in great hands. She welcomed him with so much love, warmth, and genuine care that it immediately put my mind at ease. While I was on vacation, Larissa kept me updated with pictures and messages, and it was clear Jasper was having an absolute blast. Seeing him so happy, comfortable, and loved made it easy for me to truly relax and enjoy my time away without worrying. As dog parents, we all hope to find someone who will care for our pets the same way we do, and Larissa exceeded every expectation. I am so grateful to have found someone who loves and cares for Jasper as if he were her own. Thank you, Larissa, for taking such amazing care of jasper. I would trust you with him again in a heartbeat!”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Nibbles! She watched her for 9 days in her home, and I’m so happy we found her. Drop-off and pick-up were super easy, and Shannon was very thorough about asking questions beforehand so she could make sure Nibbles was comfortable and knew her routine and preferences. She took such great care of her and made sure she was happy, well-fed, comfortable, and got lots of love and attention. I could tell Nibbles was in really good hands, as I received consistent updates/pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Shannon is such a sweetheart, and I’m extremely happy with the care she gave Nibbles. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Zahara has watched my small dog twice. He loves going there and Zahara and her family are so caring. He was not just looked after, you could tell he was loved! She was great about communicating. I will definitely use her again!”

“Brian was awesome!! He took great care of our little guy, brought him to the dog park, on walks in the neighborhood, and made sure he got lots of exercise and love while we were away.”
“This was my first time using Rover. Jenny and family took good care of our doggie. I enjoyed getting pictures of him to see how he was doing. I will definitely be using her again. This was a great first experience.”

“Amanda took the BEST care of our baby Bentley over the holidays! We felt so at peace knowing he was safe and loved by Amanda and her husband (and their cat!). She sent us frequent picture updates and made sure Bentley kept up with the routine/trainings we started at home. Our flight was delayed coming back from vacation and Amanda was so accommodating, allowing Bentley to stay an extra night. We will definitely book again!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced dog owner living in the Seaside neighborhood of Torrance. I currently have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and a Mini Australian Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes and energy levels. My dogs are part of my family, and we stay active every day. We enjoy daily walks, hiking, trips to the dog beach, and playdates. I know how important it is for dogs to get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I grew up surrounded by animals, including dogs, horses, chickens, rabbits, and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I work from home during the week, and now that my kids are away at college, I have more time to dedicate to caring for pets. Whether your dog needs a neighborhood walk, extra exercise, or a longer adventure on a local hiking trail, I’d love to help keep them happy, healthy, and active. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand that trust, safety, and communication are the most important parts of caring for someone else’s beloved companion. SAFETY & COMPATIBILITY Your dog’s safety, my safety, and the safety of my pets are always my top priorities. I welcome friendly dogs of all sizes—from tiny pups to large breeds—as long as they are comfortable being handled by someone new. Because every dog is different, I require a meet-and-greet before accepting new clients. For dog walking, I’d like to meet your dog first to ensure we’re both comfortable together and that your dog walks calmly on a leash around people and other dogs. If I’m caring for your dog in my home, a meet-and-greet with my dogs is also required to make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable. While I have many years of experience caring for dogs, I am not a professional dog trainer or behaviorist. For everyone’s safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly with people and can be safely managed on walks and in new environments. If your dog has a history of aggression toward people or other dogs, I may not be the right sitter for your pet. I love puppies and will take in un-spayed or un neutered young puppies (less than 9 months old), at my discretion. I work remote from home and have the flexibility to visit or walk your dog. I have my own three dogs that hang out with me when I work at my desk. I have some flexibility to take a dog to join us to hang out for the day or night. I walk the dogs every afternoon. I have a fenced yard, three friendly dogs to keep your’s company and an XL crate if needed. If I am dog sitting, I would not leave your dog home alone and unattended. There is shaded patio, artificial turf for running and not getting dirty, I have a magnetic screen so my dogs are free to walk in and out of the house at leisure.
The median cost per night for dog boarding in Palos Verdes Peninsula is $63

When our dog was having some mobility issues, they let us know right away, and kept us informed on any progress, with photos and videos. Unfortunately she didn't improve much so se decided that it would be in the dogs interest to pick her up from her sitters. Fortunately all is back to normal with her, it was best overall .

Our family had a last-minute trip come up, so we needed to find a dog sitter on short notice. We reached out to Zahara because she lives nearby, and after seeing her 5-star rating and reading all the great reviews, we felt comfortable trusting her with our dog, Yuki. She was amazing! She took Yuki on daily walks, played with him every day, and kept us updated with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She also made sure to check with us about his meals and supplements, and followed all of our instructions carefully. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Yuki, and we could tell he was happy and well taken care of. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We'll definitely be booking with Zahara again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy dog sitter!

Highly recommend Cristina! She took great care of our dog during a weekend trip. She is a prompt communicator and sent plenty of updates and pictures. She is kind and you can tell she really loves dogs and I knew my dog would be in good hands with her. I will definitely reach out to Cristina again when I need a reliable dog sitter. Thanks Cristina!

Chris did an amazing job taking care of our Bernese Mountain Dog, Moxy. He was incredibly thorough with daily updates, keeping us completely in the loop with how things were going, which gave us so much peace of mind. His communication was excellent from start to finish, and it was clear Moxy was well cared for and happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Chris again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive sitter!
