Before watching your pet, I’d love to know as much as possible to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. Important things include their daily routine, feeding schedule, any medical needs or medications, and how they do on walks or around other animals. I also like to know their favorite toys, any fears or triggers (like loud noises or certain dogs), and what comforts them when they’re feeling anxious. The more I know about their personality and preferences, the better I can make them feel right at home while you’re away!

I love keeping pets happy, active, and loved while you're away! Depending on their personality and energy level, I’ll tailor our time together with a mix of fun and comfort. For energetic pups, that might mean long walks, fetch sessions, or playtime at the park. For pets who prefer a calmer pace, we’ll enjoy gentle strolls, cuddles, and enrichment toys or puzzles to keep them engaged. I also love giving belly rubs, brushing fur (if they enjoy it), and making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. My goal is to keep their routine as normal and joyful as possible, so they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re gone.

With over 20 years of hands-on pet care experience, I’ve looked after pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities—from bouncy puppies learning the ropes to senior companions who need a gentler touch. At home, I share life with my sweet 14-year-old Papillon mix, so I know firsthand the joy (and unique needs) that come with each stage of a pet’s life. I enjoy long walks, quiet cuddle time, and seeing pets light up when they get to explore my spacious backyard.
