About: I've taken care of dogs for over 10 years and would love to host small to medium-sized friendly, mellow dogs. I am an artist and writer who lives in San Pedro, CA, by the waterfront. I have a fenced yard and work out of my home art studio. I can board your doggie(s) at my house for the day or for a few hours. I do not own pets right now because I have been traveling a bit. I am available M-F, and holiday/weekends if given advance notice. Only two dogs at most at any one time at my home. I usually take a walk by midmorning, and work on art or writing for the rest of the day, so I have plenty of time to play with your furry friends. Courtnie is a great sitter who really understands dogs, and my 1-yr old crazy border collie mix loved his stay there. He had so much fun playing with her dog and running around in her backyard, that he actually got tired and fell asleep. And the next day he was so happy there he got the zoomies! Courtnie sent lots of photos and updates, was careful about special instructions, and was very flexible when I requested additional pet sitting time on the day of pick-up. I hope to book Courtnie again in the future!
I left my two senior dogs in the great care of Sam for several days. A little nervous as I don't leave them often and one has mobility issues. He immediately put my mind at ease and didn't hesitate at all my dog mom instructions. He texted pics everyday with updates which I truly appreciated. It is obvious they were very well cared for. They went above and beyond with attention and affection—treating my dog like their own. When I picked my dog up, I could immediately tell how well they had been cared for.
