About: Hi! I may not have a ton of recent reviews, but I’ve been on Rover since 2019, and animals have always been my passion 🐾 I currently work as a relief veterinary assistant at CAMP LA in San Pedro and have been there for 5 years. Over that time, I’ve worked both full-time and part-time, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and medical care. These days, I’ve shifted into a more flexible schedule so I can spend time with my baby, but animal care is still a huge part of my life and something I truly love doing. I’m also continuing my education to become an RVT and have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. I absolutely love what I do, and honestly, I’ll probably be more excited to meet your pet than they are to meet me 😅 During the weekdays, I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my little one is with me. Because of that, I do require pets to be very friendly and comfortable around a baby. She’s gentle and used to animals she treats our two cats like royalty. Current availability: Drop-in visits Dog walks (best for dogs ~40 lbs or under) For larger dogs or house sitting, I’m available during evening/night hours (around 8 PM–4 AM). If your pet is a good fit, I would truly love to care for them and treat them like my own. I currently work as a relief veterinary technician, and since becoming a mom my schedule is more flexible, but my little sidekick comes with me 😊 (don’t worry, she’s friendly… just a tiny gremlin lol). Services I offer: Drop-in visits: All sizes welcome, as long as your dog is friendly House sitting: Available for friendly pets Dog walking: Small to medium dogs preferred; larger dogs are okay for walks during evening/night hours when my baby is asleep (for everyone’s safety) Boarding: Small dogs only (apartment rules), must be friendly with babies and cats My goal is to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy me, my baby, and your pet 🐾💛 I live in an apartment (not fenced), so for boarding in my home, I can only accept small dogs. Your pet must be very friendly and comfortable around a toddler and cats, as I have an 18-month-old and two cats at home. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Humboldt State University and also have my veterinary assistant certification. I’ve worked at CAMP LA in San Pedro for 5 years as a veterinary assistant and currently work as a relief technician on weekends while continuing my education to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I’ve also volunteered with Marine Mammal Care Center and have two sweet male cats of my own. About: I have loved animals my whole life what sets me apart from other is I treat any animals like it’s my own, I have empathy on how they feel and just how I want others to treat my pets with love and compassion I’ll do the same in return with my experience and love I have for our animals. John was available right away for a walkthrough, and was extremely attentive throughout. Significantly, both cats took a shine to him during our first meeting, which is rare and turned out to be a good sign! John is a cat person, and cats pick up on this immediately. It's amazing to see. John gave us constant updates, and even made extra visits. He played with the cats and watered our plants, and even gave one cat medication each day. He even sent us very artful photos of our cats! We felt so at ease being away with John caring for our cats. This confidence in John provided us with immense peace of mind and we are so grateful to him for the care and attention he showed to our beloved cats. We cannot recommend John enough... he's absolutely amazing. You cannot possibly find a better cat sitter.”

My dog is older and has special needs, in addition to pretty bad separation anxiety. My dog doesn't put up much of a fuss going to his house, which is a testament to how much he likes Armando, his wife, and Buddah! He was also very accomodating with the drop in visit- we had set up the TV to play while we were gone and it messed up, but he was willing to follow the instructions we sent to fix it so that the animals can have entertainment again! About: I’ve rescued animals all my life on my own and with organizations and owned a boarding kennel for 15 years until retirement. Lots of experience. I am retired and love being in the company of animals in any fashion. Their happiness and comfort is my primary goal, whatever that entails. I will follow your guidelines on how to care for your fur baby to the letter. I know that activity, food and love are what’s important.

About: We live in a very dog friendly and safe neighborhood. I’m experienced in taking care of special needs dogs as well as non-special needs. If your pup is on a special diet, I have no problem weighing food. As well as administer any meds. I’m currently available to play, walk and take care of your pup. I can take your pup out to go potty every 2-4 hours. Taking care of pups needs is my first priority. I do ask that your dog(s) and cat(s) be current on flea medication and their vaccinations, just to safe as we go for walks around the neighborhood and/or parks.

About: I’ve had two furries, a cat and a dog and they are currently with my family living in NYC. I have experience taking care of them for over 3 years since they are just a kitten and a puppy. I helped my puppy Labrador Retriever break her potty and other aspects of training. I am calm and resilient. At the same time, I truly care about the furries and try to match my energies to theirs when it comes to exercise! I enjoy taking care of paw friends including Labrador Retriever, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Husky, Australian Cattle, Pomeranian, Forkie, and more. I go for a jog or a run during the weekend no matter what. So, your paw friends would be part of it in the mornings and evenings. Generally, I will give a morning run or a walk for 30 minutes and potty breaks every 2-3 hours during the weeks/ends. Before dinner time, I’d make sure to give them a brief walk as well, as I need one to wrap up my day. During the weekend, I will take your furry friends everywhere I go, unless I have to go dining somewhere/church for 2-4 hours. You let me know if you'd like me to let you know in advance so you are comfortable with it. I have two Nest Cameras installed in the house specifically facing toward the entrance door, balcony, too, and of course your furry friends. I can always see the alert of what’s happened throughout the day + anything that happens will be recorded for safety purposes!
