About: I Grew up with dogs and have two of my own. Boarded dogs since I was in college. Worked with different types of dogs and families! I work different jobs and mostly from home. I have two boys (12 & 10). They are well behaved and always help me with the boarding pups whenever they can The backyard is closed and fenced. I have artificial turf for pups to go potty. And the rest is concrete and river rocks. Fence on both sides to provide privacy and protection

About: No, I had already been working with cats at my job. I never had a pet. About two years ago I decided to adopt my first cat at the harbor shelter. That was an entire different experience than taking care of a dog. They’re mostly on their own, but they definitely love love and cuddles. Then a year later I was blessed with the second cat that my mom found on the street. This cat was a neonate kitten. I have never taken care of such a small kitten before, even in my own profession, the biggest cats that we see, or at least two months. This kid and was a couple of days old I managed to bottlefeed him and woke up at every meow, took him to work with me, and he survived and grow to be a phenomenal cat.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. We had 3 dogs, unfortunately they all passed due to old age recently. We would love having your dog as part of our family while the visit. I treat them like my own kid, lots of play, cuddle, balls and going on nice walks. Dogs have been a big part of how I describe who I am, I also rescue dogs and help them find loving forever homes. We have a huge fenced yard and leave close to a park, we love to go on walks and stay active. I currently work part-time so I have the ability to mindfully attend to your fur baby. I am also a very organized person and send updated timely with photos. I have a super large fenced large and lots of tennis balls (left overs from my dogs who passed last year). I also have a park 5 min from my house.

“Nicholas and Carole are the best! Our 8-month old high energy dog Fozzy loved his time there and slept so well at home afterwards, and even the next day! Nicholas took him on fun walks, exercised him with play time in their backyard, and let him run and play with their dog Bruce. They sent frequent photo and videos during the day. They even got him to go potty right before I picked him up, so that I wouldn't have to do that after we got home late at night. We hope to book them again in the future!”

Services I offer: Drop-in visits: All sizes welcome, as long as your dog is friendly House sitting: Available for friendly pets Dog walking: Small to medium dogs preferred; larger dogs are okay for walks during evening/night hours when my baby is asleep (for everyone’s safety) Boarding: Small dogs only (apartment rules), must be friendly with babies and cats My goal is to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy me, my baby, and your pet 🐾💛 I live in an apartment (not fenced), so for boarding in my home, I can only accept small dogs. Your pet must be very friendly and comfortable around a toddler and cats, as I have an 18-month-old and two cats at home. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Humboldt State University and also have my veterinary assistant certification. I’ve worked at CAMP LA in San Pedro for 5 years as a veterinary assistant and currently work as a relief technician on weekends while continuing my education to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I’ve also volunteered with Marine Mammal Care Center and have two sweet male cats of my own. About: I have been a sitter for years. It’s just something I love to do because I love animals :) Once I got a fur family of my own (Dog & Cat) I thought it would be fun to be a sitter and do something I love. About: Our pets are just an extension of our family. I grew up in a house with pets and farm animals. I was taught to treat these animals with love and respect and ensure that they had fresh water and food every day.and that they were cleaned-up after, exercised and that they were comfortable. And having their pet in their own environment is less stressful of the whole family. I ensure that a regular routine is maintained and that fresh food and water is always available. I walk and/or play with them to entertain and exercise your pet on a daily basis. I am happy to provide updates and pics while you are away. And I make sure that the poop is cleaned up, as well. I am recently retired and have lots of flexibility in my schedule so I am available to walk or provide over-night stays when needed. I care for your pet as you would care for them. I do my best to keep them safe and cared for in the environment they are used to, their own home.
About: I have owned 6 dogs through my lifetime, two boxers (Chica and Bella), one fox terrier (Jack), a black mouth cur (Kimber), a pit bull mix (Charlie) and a one eyed Chihuahua (Zoe). I also owned a couple of fish (Cheeto and Elvis) as well as a ferret (also named Jack). I worked as a kennel technician, groomer (I bathed, blow dried and clipped nails only, (I did not cut hair) and a doggy daycare counselor as well! I know how to feed, water, walk, bathe, dry and give medications. Familiar with how to handle dogs in heat. My love for animals has always gone above and beyond, they deserve nothing less🩷 I have a lot of free time and a goal of starting dental school once I can afford it! If I can reach that goal by meeting and caring for your fur babies, it will be a blessing. I’m available anytime from 8:30 am to 10 pm any day of the week or weekend. I do ask for a 3-4 day notice in advance for appointments (scheduling or canceling) please and thank you! For coming to a clients home, I always ask questions and for detailed instructions of pet care. I will follow the schedule, measurements and rules made by the owner to a T. I make sure dogs are being well supervised as well as lots of pets, treats, cuddles and play time! I am able to take them on walks, give them baths, play, crate and respect the dog (or cat) and owners boundaries. Side note: I cannot do boarding in my own home due to roommates and their pets.

About: We live in a very dog friendly and safe neighborhood. I’m experienced in taking care of special needs dogs as well as non-special needs. If your pup is on a special diet, I have no problem weighing food. As well as administer any meds. I’m currently available to play, walk and take care of your pup. I can take your pup out to go potty every 2-4 hours. Taking care of pups needs is my first priority. I do ask that your dog(s) and cat(s) be current on flea medication and their vaccinations, just to safe as we go for walks around the neighborhood and/or parks.
