“Joshua and Jennifer were absolutely amazing. I felt so comfortable leaving my two pug babies with them for the weekend knowing they were in such good hands. They had so much fun and were even spoiled with Halloween doggy treats, even came home with little goodies! Jennifer was wonderful with communicating with me the whole time as well which was huge for me. Thanks you guys! Will be taking them here again :)”

And the rest is concrete and river rocks. Fence on both sides to provide privacy and protection

“I cannot express enough how truly wonderful Ashley was with our fur baby. She was genuinely concerned and gave him the very best of care and attention - even making him a home-made bandage for a cut on his tail and taking him on mile-long walks. Our Charley was best buddies with her fur baby, Gus. She continuously checked-in and sent pics while we were away. We were totally at ease the entire time which was priceless. Thank you so much Ashley and family. I would give you 100 stars if I could.”

“Qi was very nice and super friendly and loving to Nala (my dog). Nala seemed to have a really good time in their house, she played with another dog, walked and was fed at the times I requested. The house is roomie and has a big patio. Nala came straight to go under my bed and sleep. 😆. I strongly recommend Qi.”

“Britney was wonderful with my cat, definitely recommend! While away for 2 weeks, she was excellent with communication, sent pictures regularly and just a really nice person that I knew I could fully trust and count on. I came home to my cat happy and healthy. I'll always book with her if she's available!”

About: No, I had already been working with cats at my job. I never had a pet. About two years ago I decided to adopt my first cat at the harbor shelter. That was an entire different experience than taking care of a dog. They’re mostly on their own, but they definitely love love and cuddles. Then a year later I was blessed with the second cat that my mom found on the street. This cat was a neonate kitten. I have never taken care of such a small kitten before, even in my own profession, the biggest cats that we see, or at least two months. This kid and was a couple of days old I managed to bottlefeed him and woke up at every meow, took him to work with me, and he survived and grow to be a phenomenal cat.

“John did an absolutely incredible job caring for our two cats! We had a last minute booking because of an unplanned trip. John was available right away for a walkthrough, and was extremely attentive throughout. Significantly, both cats took a shine to him during our first meeting, which is rare and turned out to be a good sign! John is a cat person, and cats pick up on this immediately. It's amazing to see. John gave us constant updates, and even made extra visits. He played with the cats and watered our plants, and even gave one cat medication each day. He even sent us very artful photos of our cats! We felt so at ease being away with John caring for our cats. This confidence in John provided us with immense peace of mind and we are so grateful to him for the care and attention he showed to our beloved cats. We cannot recommend John enough... he's absolutely amazing. You cannot possibly find a better cat sitter.”

“Danielle did a wonderful job with my little Marcy, as she always does! There was a mix up in communication on my end and Danielle was so easy to work with and completely understandable. I appreciate your flexibility! Thank you again.”

About: Whether your pet needs walk or play time I’m here and happy to help! Short or long walks, or if you need someone to come by and pet sit you have a reliable and experienced person! Due to my open availability my schedule is flexible and I can try and accommodate the time that works best for you and your pet. Safety is the most important thing for me. I can guarantee your doggo would be happy and safe. Your pet is in good hands with me!
“Kayci was amazing! She took such good care of our kittens and she was really thoughtful with the pictures and messages she sent about how the visits were going. We would absolutely work with her again. She made us feel really comfortable leaving our kittens.”

“This was my first time using Rover, and it was hands down the BEST experience I could have asked for, especially with Chris caring for my dog & cat! 🐾 Chris has incredible communication skills and kept me updated every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind :) He is also extremely punctual and reliable, especially when it comes to feeding and walking schedules, which meant everything to me & more. The level of love and care he showed my animals was truly top notch. He followed every instruction perfectly and still found ways to go above and beyond in so many thoughtful ways. For the first time in a very long time, I was actually able to relax and disconnect from “pet mom mode” because I knew my animals were being cared for exactly how I would care for them, if not even better. I also loved the pictures Chris sent, you could genuinely see how much fun my pets were having with him, and somehow he even got my cat to come out and play, which says everything. If you’re thinking about booking with Chris, do it!!! You’ll thank me later & your pets will gain a new best friend 🐾”

“Bethany is awesome!! I contacted her rather last minute to check in on my skittish cat while I was away for an extended trip. She replied super quickly and we were able to schedule a meeting. My cat is fairly shy, but Bethany took the time and attention to form a bond with him. I would definitely book her again, as she has a lovely personality as well as a wonderful way with animals. Thank you, Bethany! ?”

“This is my second time having Traci as my cat sitter. Traci is so kind and responsive. She took really good care of my two cats while I was away for two weeks. I really appreciated all the pictures and videos she would send me during her visits. She has my full trust and I would definitely use her service again!”

About: Need someone to check in on your cat while you’re away? I’d love to help! I provide reliable drop-in visits for cats throughout San Pedro, Long Beach, Torrance, and nearby South Bay communities. Whether your cat is social and playful or prefers a quiet companion, I’m happy to follow their routine and care for them at their own pace. Each visit can include fresh food and water, litter box cleaning, playtime, treats (if approved), medication when needed, and plenty of updates and photos so you know they’re doing well while you’re away. My goal is to make your cat feel safe and comfortable in their own home while giving you peace of mind during your trip.

“Amanda was great! She stayed in our home with our cat Bear for a week. She was super tidy and very communicative. Bear seemed very content when we came home and we will definitely be asking Amanda to cat sit again in the future!”

About: I absolutely love cats and their unique personalities 🐱💛 I’ve cared for many cats over the years for friends, family, and families I’ve worked with, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them—whether that’s giving belly rubs, little scratches, playtime, or just being a calm presence nearby. I’m very intuitive with animals and respect each cat’s personality, whether they’re cuddly or more independent. I’ve also done overnight stays and even taken some cats on little walks! My goal is always to make your cat feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.
“Have been using him for dog sitting for months now and have now also had him drop in to say hi to our bird and cat. Always very pleased with his care! My dog is older and has special needs, in addition to pretty bad separation anxiety. My dog doesn't put up much of a fuss going to his house, which is a testament to how much he likes Armando, his wife, and Buddah! He was also very accomodating with the drop in visit- we had set up the TV to play while we were gone and it messed up, but he was willing to follow the instructions we sent to fix it so that the animals can have entertainment again! Very thankful to have found such a caring and quality sitter.”

“Sylvia was very kind and caring with my two almost 11 year old cats; Lloyd and Spot. I really appreciate how considerate she was giving Lloyd the rest of his medicine. I definitely will use Sylvia again the next time I need cat-sitting!”

“Armando was great. He sent pictures throughout the day, which was really nice. It was our first time having someone care for our pup, and we were happy with the experience.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. We had 3 dogs, unfortunately they all passed due to old age recently. We would love having your dog as part of our family while the visit. I treat them like my own kid, lots of play, cuddle, balls and going on nice walks. Dogs have been a big part of how I describe who I am, I also rescue dogs and help them find loving forever homes. We have a huge fenced yard and leave close to a park, we love to go on walks and stay active. I currently work part-time so I have the ability to mindfully attend to your fur baby. I am also a very organized person and send updated timely with photos. I have a super large fenced large and lots of tennis balls (left overs from my dogs who passed last year). I also have a park 5 min from my house.

“When our pet, Rico, is happy, we are happy. Rico is timid and avoids other dogs. Every time we have used Rover, he has fit in nicely with other dogs present. Thank you, Traci. Your chihuahuas have given Rico new amigos and I think I heard him bark in Spanish.”

“Sylvia was amazing! She kept me updated on my two dogs throughout their stay in her home and made sure they got plenty of playtime ! I would highly recommend her and plan to rebook !”

“Nicholas and Carole are the best! Our 8-month old high energy dog Fozzy loved his time there and slept so well at home afterwards, and even the next day! Nicholas took him on fun walks, exercised him with play time in their backyard, and let him run and play with their dog Bruce. They sent frequent photo and videos during the day. They even got him to go potty right before I picked him up, so that I wouldn't have to do that after we got home late at night. We hope to book them again in the future!”

“Qing took my little Kit for doggy day care for two long days at the very last minute. She was responsive and sent several photos throughout the stay. Kit seemed very happy when I dropped him off and when I picked him up. I will definitely reach out the Qing again.”

About: Hi! I may not have a ton of recent reviews, but I’ve been on Rover since 2019, and animals have always been my passion 🐾 I currently work as a relief veterinary assistant at CAMP LA in San Pedro and have been there for 5 years. Over that time, I’ve worked both full-time and part-time, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and medical care. These days, I’ve shifted into a more flexible schedule so I can spend time with my baby, but animal care is still a huge part of my life and something I truly love doing. I’m also continuing my education to become an RVT and have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. I absolutely love what I do, and honestly, I’ll probably be more excited to meet your pet than they are to meet me 😅 During the weekdays, I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my little one is with me. Because of that, I do require pets to be very friendly and comfortable around a baby. She’s gentle and used to animals she treats our two cats like royalty. Current availability: Drop-in visits Dog walks (best for dogs ~40 lbs or under) For larger dogs or house sitting, I’m available during evening/night hours (around 8 PM–4 AM). If your pet is a good fit, I would truly love to care for them and treat them like my own. I currently work as a relief veterinary technician, and since becoming a mom my schedule is more flexible, but my little sidekick comes with me 😊 (don’t worry, she’s friendly… just a tiny gremlin lol). Services I offer: Drop-in visits: All sizes welcome, as long as your dog is friendly House sitting: Available for friendly pets Dog walking: Small to medium dogs preferred; larger dogs are okay for walks during evening/night hours when my baby is asleep (for everyone’s safety) Boarding: Small dogs only (apartment rules), must be friendly with babies and cats My goal is to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy me, my baby, and your pet 🐾💛 I live in an apartment (not fenced), so for boarding in my home, I can only accept small dogs. Your pet must be very friendly and comfortable around a toddler and cats, as I have an 18-month-old and two cats at home. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. Why you can trust me: I’ve been pursuing a career in animal care for years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Humboldt State University and also have my veterinary assistant certification. I’ve worked at CAMP LA in San Pedro for 5 years as a veterinary assistant and currently work as a relief technician on weekends while continuing my education to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I’ve also volunteered with Marine Mammal Care Center and have two sweet male cats of my own. My goal is simple: To provide a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where your pet is treated like family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them comfortable, I’ll make sure they feel cared for every step of the way 💛
“Pups loved Shelbie! Our 1st time using Rover and our experience with Shelbie was great! Appreciated the photos throughout the day. Pups were happy campers! Thanks Shelbie!”

“Courtnie was very accommodating for my two dogs. I needed someone for long term daycare multiple times per week, and I was having trouble finding someone I trust. She was very knowledgeable about dog behaviors, and how to make it a safe environment for all the pups. I felt safe leaving my dogs in her hands, as she seems very experienced. She is now my doggie day care provider, and I don't plan on changing! Her prices are very reasonable as well.”

About: Hi! Thank you for stopping by my profile. One of our favorite family hobbies is caring for pets. Every furry guest becomes part of our little family while they’re with us. 🐾❤️ I’d love to share a little about our home and why we truly enjoy taking care of pets. I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From Golden Retrievers to Dachshunds and German Shepherds—and of course cats—these wonderful companions have always been around me. After moving from Europe to the United States, I found myself missing the presence of furry friends. While living in Washington, DC, I started dog walking and cat sitting, and I continued caring for pets while living in Virginia. Now we’re in San Pedro, and I’m excited to keep providing loving and reliable care for pets in our community. We’re family living in a safe, gated community near Cabrillo Beach. My son is a wonderful little helper and is often the pets’ favorite because he gives them lots of attention, playtime, and love—and he’s always happy to share his bed for extra cuddles. He especially enjoys playing fetch with dogs at the dog park just a 3-minute walk from our home. 🐾 Your pet will enjoy plenty of play sessions, walks around our sunny neighborhood 🌴, as well as indoor and garden playtime. We also have a small yard where pets can relax during the day while I’m home. I provide multiple walks throughout the day, along with cuddles, brushing, and lots of attention to make sure every pet feels comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and preferences so I can make their stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. 🐶🐱 I am very flexible. I am currently staying home with a flexible remote job. I can take care of your furry friend during weekdays and weekends with the same day notice. In both my home and my clients' homes, safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, I ensure all potential hazards are removed and prioritize the pet's well-being. At clients' homes, I establish trust with the pet, familiarize myself with their routine, and follow any specific instructions provided. Communication with pet owners is key, and I ensure adherence to dietary and medical requirements. Overall, my goal is to create a nurturing environment where pets feel safe and cared for, whether they're in my home or their own.
“Amazing as always! She has taken care of schatzi for a few times already and I feel so comfortable and confident leaving Schatzi with perla. “Brianna is the absolute best. She takes extra care of my pups and consistently goes above and beyond for their well-being. They sit by the window, waiting for her to come back and walk them every day.”

About: I have been a sitter for years. It’s just something I love to do because I love animals :) Once I got a fur family of my own (Dog & Cat) I thought it would be fun to be a sitter and do something I love. I always go the extra mile and create content, if the client approves. I work as a music producer and have tons of time for my animal friends! They make my days better 🖤 I love meeting new people and caring for their animal family. It’s just something that brightens my days. I’m very caring and attentive. Always watching out for them to make sure they’re safe and happy. Knowing they’re properly cared for is my top priority.
About: Our pets are just an extension of our family. I grew up in a house with pets and farm animals. I was taught to treat these animals with love and respect and ensure that they had fresh water and food every day.and that they were cleaned-up after, exercised and that they were comfortable. Upon having pets of my own, I raised my kids and now, grandkids, that our pets are special and essential in our lives and need to be treated that way. I have owned strays and mixed breeds, and a lhasa apso to hybrid wolves. A few years back, I started carrying for friends pets in their homes when they traveled. This service brings them peace of mind and comfort when they are away, as they know their sweet pet is being cared for with the same level of care that they provide. And having their pet in their own environment is less stressful of the whole family. I ensure that a regular routine is maintained and that fresh food and water is always available. I walk and/or play with them to entertain and exercise your pet on a daily basis. I am happy to provide updates and pics while you are away. And I make sure that the poop is cleaned up, as well. I am recently retired and have lots of flexibility in my schedule so I am available to walk or provide over-night stays when needed. I care for your pet as you would care for them. I do my best to keep them safe and cared for in the environment they are used to, their own home.

About: I have owned 6 dogs through my lifetime, two boxers (Chica and Bella), one fox terrier (Jack), a black mouth cur (Kimber), a pit bull mix (Charlie) and a one eyed Chihuahua (Zoe). I also owned a couple of fish (Cheeto and Elvis) as well as a ferret (also named Jack). I worked as a kennel technician, groomer (I bathed, blow dried and clipped nails only, (I did not cut hair) and a doggy daycare counselor as well! I know how to feed, water, walk, bathe, dry and give medications. Familiar with how to handle dogs in heat. My love for animals has always gone above and beyond, they deserve nothing less🩷 I have a lot of free time and a goal of starting dental school once I can afford it! If I can reach that goal by meeting and caring for your fur babies, it will be a blessing. I’m available anytime from 8:30 am to 10 pm any day of the week or weekend. I do ask for a 3-4 day notice in advance for appointments (scheduling or canceling) please and thank you! For coming to a clients home, I always ask questions and for detailed instructions of pet care. I will follow the schedule, measurements and rules made by the owner to a T. I make sure dogs are being well supervised as well as lots of pets, treats, cuddles and play time! I am able to take them on walks, give them baths, play, crate and respect the dog (or cat) and owners boundaries. Side note: I cannot do boarding in my own home due to roommates and their pets.

“Traci was very loving with my dog and my dog wanted to leave with her when she was dropped off, so that says it all! Traci kept me in the loop, was very professional and most of all, obviously an animal lover. I would definitely hire Traci again!”

I can take your pup out to go potty every 2-4 hours. Taking care of pups needs is my first priority. I am familiar with dog behavior and needs and have spent a lot of hours in the dog park with my friend's animals. About: Owners will love the care I provide because I'm very loving and respectful of needs/wants. I'm very caring for animals as they need our help as much as possible. I love all kinds of animals. My care experience is based on learning from watching, reading online, or learning on my own experience how to proceed in careful matters. I've learned very risky situations on my dogs that I had in the past that I was not comfortable with but I managed to take risks. So I can say I'm a bit of a risk taker as well, But a safe only if you want me to do. Nothing is done without concerning the owner. These are a bit of what I can do for my dog and try with any other pet. I can bathe, clip nails, comb hair, and come up with tricks with treats granted. Availability comes great with me because I'm home with my fur baby of my own. I'm home throughout the day/night unless I'm doing homework, photography, or at the gym to better myself; Which I love too. This is great as well if you're looking to better your pet well being. So being available is my most accurate thing about me and it works for any working hours of dog owners. My special skills are loving, playing with dogs, and keeping them happy always while spoiling them with my love or treats. haha. I also love to take photoshoots with my fur baby as I'm trying to own my business one day. I love teaching tricks, spending time walking with them, or just hanging out. I'm here for dogs. Dog lover is my passion. If I could own many dogs I would. I'm those extra helping hands. I am here for you! I can take them to play, walk, feed them, and potty/poop. I also can be there for your fur baby on weekends if you like to go out somewhere and have no worries. I'm here for you. I make sure your fur baby is happy, worry-free, and calm and stays to your commands/rules. I give love and accept lovable kisses and messes. I also have a fur baby of my own, so I know what it takes. I can do any service that you want and try my best to succeed with focus and helping needs until you return to your favorite companion.

“Armando has been fantastic with our 10 year old boxer, Bruno. Armando is reliable, flexible, and knowledgeable about dogs, and he’s handled Bruno’s ever-evolving list of medications with ease. We can’t recommend him enough!”
“Qing always gave updates throughout the day, helping me feel peace of mind that Twix was taken care of. My dog is currently undergoing medication regimens for cancer, so I’m always nervous leaving her. But Qing made sure I knew she was getting her meds and food throughout the day. I’m very grateful! ☺️”

“Chris was a great dog sitter. He cared for Bleu like his own and kept me updated with photos in a daily basis. He even was kind enough to meet prior to the boarding to socialize our dogs and ensure they got along. Definitely keeping Chris in mind for future dog sitting 😊”

“I can’t say enough good things about Elaine. If you need to leave your dog with someone, she is it. You can tell she loves animals. She has stayed in contact with us during our whole trip by sending pictures, videos & texts. We felt completely at ease because we knew or pup was in great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Zaya was an exceptional pet sitter for Wally. He had a great time at her house and a great time with her and her other pets. We will definitely be back the next time I'm out of town! Thank you so much!!”

“Perla is awesome! She took excellent care of our dog and sent lots of pictures and updates while we were away. It was easy to tell that our dog was very well taken care of and it’s nice to know that we can have such an amazing dog sitter the next time we need to be away!”

“Katie is the best!!! She would send me updates about my girls and pictures daily. She really put my mind at ease while caring for my dogs. This was my first time booking with Katie and I am most definitely re-booking her!!! I highly recommend her. I’m giving her 10 stars forget the 5 stars max on rover!!!!”

“There’s a reason Brian has such great reviews. He’s amazing. He had a great connection with my dog, who is usually quite aloof with strangers. I could tell she was comfortable and happy with him- which is such a great relief when leaving your dog in someone’s care. His communication and updates were perfect, and he was very flexible and accommodating with the drop off and pick up times. I like that he takes the time to do a meet and greet before taking on a client. I will definitely book Brian again.”

“Christy was great! She made Barry White feel right at home. We were able to enjoy ourselves at our event and rest easy knowing he was in loving hands. Thanks Christy and Patrick!!”

“Narumi was amazing. She kept the boys on routine and was able to give Bandit his medicine (no small feat). They stayed engaged, exercised, and she gave plenty of updates. Thank you again Narumi!”

“Stephanie was wondering with Ellie! Great communication and provided lots of updates & pictures of her while I was away! Will definitely book with her again 😊”

“Laura watched Jethro for almost 2 months while I was moving from Long Beach to Costa Mesa and then while I was gone o the East Coast to investigate new places to live. She sent me periodic updates and Jethro seemed to be happy being with Laura. I would highly recommend her.”

“Hi I'm Christopher Braig and I am a middle school music teacher in South Central and Jazz Musician. I have only been in LA two years and I often go to see my daughters in St. Louis. I must insist on telling this was the best experience we have ever had on Rover bar none. Shardae took the time time to frequently and in detail tell us of how our old man toy poodle Oreo was doing. And she did in such a fun way it made me and girls laugh. Thank you Shardae I will be doing some traveling this summer and we hope you are available. CB”
