About: New to Rover, but not new to caring for pets: I am an empty nester who loves dogs and cats. I’m easy-going and have cared for both puppies and older dogs, and I look forward to keeping your pet safe and happy while you’re away. When I pet sit, I’ll send you lots of photos and videos to reassure you that all is well. I won’t list myself as available on weekends when I know I will be in and out too much to give your pet the attention s/he deserves. I have a small fenced/gated area, and the gate is tall. We have a dog door we can utilize or lock depending on your preference. There is a small section of artificial grass outside. Indoors, dogs are allowed on the couch with me unless you prefer I not allow it. I can walk them in the morning early, usually between 7:00-7:30 am. Afternoon walks are typically between 2:30-4:00. I am flexible with when evening walks happen. Dogs don’t ever have to be crated here, but I can do so if you provide the crate. On the weekends, I can certainly let them out more often than the 4-8 hours indicated on the app. Some weekdays, however, fall within that window depending on my work schedule. I require proof or rabies and other vaccines at the meet and greet, please.
“Zahara and her family were amazing. They took really good care of Zeke. It’s the most comfortable and happy I’ve ever seen him, while being boarded. Zeke is super finicky when it comes to eating and most times partakes in fasting, while being boarded. Zahara took the extra time and care to prepare his food, adding toppings and other goodies, which Zeke thoroughly enjoyed. He ate very well, and did not seem stressed out when we picked him up, and aside from missing us, if he had it his way, I think he would have stayed. Also, I loved that she doesn’t take too many dogs at once. Overall, great experience. We will definitely be back soon.”

Drop-off and pick-up were super easy, and Shannon was very thorough about asking questions beforehand so she could make sure Nibbles was comfortable and knew her routine and preferences. She took such great care of her and made sure she was happy, well-fed, comfortable, and got lots of love and attention. I could tell Nibbles was in really good hands, as I received consistent updates/pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Perla was amazing with our Goldendoodle! She made sure that we were updated all the time. Pick up and drop off was not a problem too- she was very flexible! I highly believe she loves what she’s doing and she’s a very caring person. After taking care of our doodle for a week, she instantly noticed and learned our doodle’s needs. I felt completely comfortable leaving my baby with Hiromi. She was amazing—so communicative, attentive, and reassuring throughout the entire stay. Frida was absolutely amazing and the most patient with our spirited dog. He hasn’t had much boarding experience so it was comforting to have such a great experience with Frida.
