“I booked a 3-night stay with Emily for my 6-month-old puppy, Nairobi, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Emily was amazing with my energetic little one and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I was able to schedule the booking less than two weeks before our trip, and she was incredibly accommodating. Throughout our time away, Emily sent daily photo updates, showing how well Nairobi was being cared for. I’m so grateful to have found someone kind, reliable, and truly great with dogs. I highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!”

“This is my first time getting a dog sitter and Jenny really set the standard. She was very sweet to my dog. She even gave my dog Zoey a bandana that really added cuteness. I also wanna thank her for providing Zoey wet food coz i was not able to prepare a wet food in my dog’s bag. She really took good care of my dog. I appreciate that she sent pictures a lot and updating me. She is highly recommendable and I will be a repeat client of her in the future.”

“Laura is absolutely amazing. I got my dates wrong and needed to extend my dogs stay. Laura was so sweet and easily accommodated these changes. Meiko absolutely loves her and he was so excited to see her the second time he stayed with her. Laura kept me updated on Meiko and sent the best pictures of him while I was out of town. She is absolutely wonderful and I feel so comfortable keeping him with her! Thank you so much, Laura!”

About: I grew up with dogs in the home all my life, including an extra large lab mix of my own who lived to be 14 years old (I still miss her). I have helped friends and family teach their dogs better behavior including how to have a productive walk and eliminating food agression. I currently have 2 medium dogs (a boy and a girl) I adopted from families who couldnt care for them anymore, and two cats (both girls). I only teach on Wednesdays in Santa Monica, otherwise I have the ability to be home all day for plenty of attention and walks. I have two dogs already, so caring for animals is part of my lifestyle already. My home is spacious and located in a neighborhood which has a lot of space to walk around. I am a very alert person when it comes to dogs' behavior and their body language so that I can ensure they are comfortable, and am able to remove them from a situation that might cause them to react negatively. There is plenty of water available and dogs get let out 3-4 times a day including a nice walk.
“Lissa was great. She treated our Zippy during his stay of 8 days like her own. The communication was great. I could tell that he was given lots of love from the pictures and texts. Highly recommended!”

“Hiromi did a fantastic job taking care of my yorkie puppy named Bunny while I was out of town on a business trip. Picked her up and dropped her off exactly on time. Amazing job at giving me status updates through out the day with multiple pictures included. I will definitely let her look after Bunny again.”

“Katherine took care of our new Beagle puppy Ziggy for 5 days. It was his first time away from our family and our first time using Rover. Katherine’s profile met all our needs/requirements we had for Ziggy’s care so we decided to give it a try and we were VERY happy we did! We normally board at one of the local Kennels but after our experience with Katherine we will never use a kennel again. Ziggy was so happy and clearly well taken care of an pampered beyond our expectations. Katherine provided daily updates and photos of all the activities/outings Ziggy was on. She was the best and will be using her again for sure!”

“Elaine and her husband are such wonderful and caring people. They request to meet prior to the stay to make sure everyone is comfortable which I appreciated. Immediately they make you feel at home. Elaine gives frequent updates sharing videos and photos! I honestly felt so at ease knowing she was caring for Hercules (I even extended my stay while being out of town- thank you for being so understanding hehe) can’t wait to rebook! Thanks guys!”

“Artem was incredible! Our other Rover sitter fell through at the last minute, and he willingly took in our pup that same day, so we could catch our flight on time! He was very responsive, and it was clear that he kept a safe and structured environment for the dogs. I would highly recommend him and will definitely call on him the next time we need our dog boarded. Thank you again, Artem!”

“Christa was absolutely amazing. She took such great care of my doggo while I was out for 2 weeks. She took her on all kinds of adventures and sent lots of messages and pictures. She was very responsive and incredibly sweet to my dog. I highly suggest having Christa watch your puppers!”

“Mayara took very good care of my dog! She usually takes her for a walk every day and share some videos and pictures of her routine. My dog likes her and seems to feel comfortable there :) Thanks Mayara!”

“Christopher was very kind and flexible with our last-minute request to take care of Leo. We received many thoughtful pictures throughout the day and Leo seemed to have a good time boarding at Christopher for the day. Thank you and Leo will visit you again next time we re in town.”

My dog Mellie loves spending time with Hiromi. It had been a while since her last overnight stay and I knew that Mellie would be so excited to see her again. She immediately recognized where we were and ran straight towards Hiromi. Hiromi does an amazing job taking care of her, follows her routine and plays with her. I love seeing pictures of her having a good time and it gives me peace of mind anytime I’m away for a weekend or if I just need a day sitter, Hiromi is absolutely the best.

So glad I found Thomas on Rover! We left our pup with him for a whole week while we were on vacation. It was clear from pictures and messages that Thomas bonded with our little buddy and gave him special attention and excellent care. We’ll be coming back to Thomas again!
