About: I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years, off and on and for the last 6 years. I work part time from home and my teens are homeschooling so I have time at home to play and care for your loved ones. In my home, pets are family and they are treated as such! I have a big, enclosed backyard for lots of playtime fun and doggy door access from the house so they have plenty of places to roam and explore. I have 2 small dogs (Coco 5yrs. is a Pug Mix and Luna 4 yrs is a Pug), both rescues. Luna we raised from 3 months old. They love meeting new friends and playing in a pack! I have been using Rover myself, for almost eight years, whenever we go on vacation and I love this service! My dogs have so much fun when they are away with their sitter family and I want to help other dogs and families feel the same peace of mind while they are away! I am lucky enough to be able to work part time from home and assist my homeschooling teens. Because I am home everyday, I make time to get outside often. I include all of the dogs in our playtime and the more, the merrier! I live in a house with a fenced in backyard. I have easy access to the backyard with a doggy door. I allow dogs on our furniture. They are part of the family, after all. My home is dog proof and I gate off areas they are not allowed, such as kids rooms. Dogs sleep in my room, either in a dog bed or kennel, whatever you prefer. I have extra beds & blankets as well. We spend time doing outdoor play a few times a day.

About: Always here to give your fur babies some extra TLC 🥰💕 Big or small, my home is their home. A nap or an adventure , I’ll be sure to give them what they need 🐾 Usually available after work to walk your pup. Please let me know if they are good around other pets, on car rides and able to receive snacks. I have a nice cool apartment, spacious. If they would like to be outdoors for a bit and catch some fresh air I have a couple parks that are very close by.

I know what they need at the moment and I know they are like kids need to be cared I work in study from home. You can drop off/pick up pets from 9am till 9pm. My dog is older and has special needs, in addition to pretty bad separation anxiety. My dog doesn't put up much of a fuss going to his house, which is a testament to how much he likes Armando, his wife, and Buddah! He was also very accomodating with the drop in visit- we had set up the TV to play while we were gone and it messed up, but he was willing to follow the instructions we sent to fix it so that the animals can have entertainment again! Very thankful to have found such a caring and quality sitter.”

About: Though I do not have as much reviews as the other rovers on this app, I did want to give a bit of my background to whoever is curious about choosing me. I am a former student that attended Humboldt State University, and graduated during the year 2020 with my bachelors of science degree in zoology. During that same year, I made a quick decision to join a veterinarian assistant program because I knew if I wanted to be a part of the veterinarian field, I needed to have experience with handling animals. And the funny thing is the only experience I had at that moment was dealing with my boyfriend’s animals, small rodents, and occasionally volunteering at thr shelter where I was attending college. So I will tell you, I was not experienced in 2020. But this veterinarian assistant program did have 200 hours of interning that was mandatory. And during that mandatory internship at the site that I was interning, they gave me my first job working with animals. So currently I have been working at camp formerly known as SNPLA in San Pedro. I have been working here for a year and a half. But wait, there’s more! During the year 2022 I thought working with camp wasn’t enough. Small animal medicine is fun, but I always wanted to work alongside wild animals. So I decided to do another internship. This internship was done at the Marine mammal Center, in San Pedro which is a rehabilitation facility for seals and sea lions. I will definitely say this internship open my eyes to the possibilities of veterinarian medicine. Now that I’m done giving you a small background of my animal experience, I would say that I am more confident with handling animals than I was in 2020 but I am nowhere near proficient because I am actively still learning. Every animal is different and some take more time to warm up to you than others. As I said, I may not have as many reviews, but I’m working on becoming the best caretaker that I can be to animals. Also, my current goal is applying to vet school because I’ve always wanted to become a veterinarian. About: I absolutely love all animals. I currently have 2 dogs and many step-dogs/cats that I take care of on a regular basis. All my friends and family know that if I take care of their pets they will be well taken care of, maybe a bit spoiled. I believe dogs/cats deserve love and attention at least once or twice a day. A tired dog is an happy dog and purring cat is a happy cat. I am retired and love to walk. I love to be outside. It brings me joy to spend my time loving on animals of any kind. My dogs roam free in my home. Yes they are allowed on furniture and bed. They are well trained, have recall and manners, they are crate trained.
