“One word to describe Bubba's stay and Maria, AMAZING. You can tell from the moment you meet Maria she is serious, passionate and very knowledgeable about dogs. I hesitate a lot to leave Bubba with sitters who host more than one dog, but not with Maria. She gives each dog the attention they need or require and she takes into account how each dog will fit into the group before hosting. Maria said it herself that she tries to make each dog's stay be a vacation for them, and that is exactly what Bubba got; lots of walks and lots of trips to the dog park. About: I’m very patient with pets, as i believe that they need special care with their daily living. I am someone who can make them feel loved and safe. I, myself have a miniature pinscher that can be handful at times but I very much love being with him. Dogs have this little world that makes me feel happy and peaceful, taking care of them is something i enjoy. I work full time in the day, but i still manage to walk my dog in the morning and the afternoon. Just like my dog, I am happy to welcome yours too and i will very much enjoy their company. About: No, I had already been working with cats at my job. I never had a pet. About two years ago I decided to adopt my first cat at the harbor shelter. That was an entire different experience than taking care of a dog. They’re mostly on their own, but they definitely love love and cuddles. Then a year later I was blessed with the second cat that my mom found on the street. This cat was a neonate kitten. I have never taken care of such a small kitten before, even in my own profession, the biggest cats that we see, or at least two months. This kid and was a couple of days old I managed to bottlefeed him and woke up at every meow, took him to work with me, and he survived and grow to be a phenomenal cat.

I’ve had my family dog that I mainly took care of growing up and one of my own now that I’ve had for the last 6 years, if you hire me your satisfaction is guaranteed! About: NEW TO ROVER but not new to pet care! I’ve been caring for pets for the past 5 years on various sites. My home is welcome to all types of furry friends and my fully fenced backyard is perfect for playtime. As a former pet owner, I know how deeply we love our babies. I also understand that sometimes assistance is needed, and that’s where I am happy to come in. Currently I work remotely part-time and supplement my free days working as a substitute teacher. On the days I work from home, I’m usually there all day and on the days I’m in the classroom I typically leave around 2:30 p.m. as Head Start, preschool and kindergarten are my bread and butter. Funny enough, there's a lot of overlap between early education and pet sitting. They both take kindness, attentiveness, and a good sense of humor! I live in a single-family home in a residential neighborhood with a fence in my backyard and many shaded sidewalks. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. We had 3 dogs, unfortunately they all passed due to old age recently. We would love having your dog as part of our family while the visit. I treat them like my own kid, lots of play, cuddle, balls and going on nice walks. Dogs have been a big part of how I describe who I am, I also rescue dogs and help them find loving forever homes. We have a huge fenced yard and leave close to a park, we love to go on walks and stay active. I currently work part-time so I have the ability to mindfully attend to your fur baby. About: I have experience giving medications (pills, liquids, ear/eye drops) as well as experience with senior and small dogs especially. Senior care is my strength but I love dogs of all ages. I work from home part time and am home all day Friday-Monday. There are no children or pets in the home so I am able to provide my undivided attention. Your dog will be inside my home most of the day as I do not have a yard. I do however have a large park/lake across the street that I frequent that is great for walks.

Your pet must be very friendly and comfortable around a toddler and cats, as I have an 18-month-old and two cats at home. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. About: I have been a sitter for years. About: I grew up with dogs since I was a child. I grew up with Shiba Inus, so I know very well about them. I currently don't have any pets as my girl passed away from old age last year and haven't gotten a new furbaby since she passed. I have been a professional dog walker/boarder/care taker for 5 years before pandemic and had many recurring clients when I was in the Bay area. I love walking them and always give 1 on 1 attention. Some of the compliments I get all the time are how detailed my updates are with many pictures and videos. I personally love to take many pictures and videos of my pets and kids, so I just take a bunch when I walk them or have them over my place. I always make sure they have water (iced water when it gets hot) before I leave with treats (unless pawrents say otherwise). I always update with their potty details too as I know as a pawrent that you want to make sure your furbaby is doing well. If I feel something is wrong, I immediately contact the pawrent. If they made a mess, I try to clean up the best I can before leaving as I know how tiring that can be unless told otherwise. Another compliment I get is how well I am with senior dogs or dogs with medical needs. The dog I grew up with was with me since he was 3mo old until he passed (15.5yrs old). He had many health complications the last 3yrs of his life that I learned how to give every medicine that you can think of including eye meds, pills, syringes, etc. I always have pill pockets, so just in case they don't want the meds in their food, I can always wrap with pill pockets instead. I am very keen, so once I get to know your furbaby, I will be able to see any changes or sense a difference and will let you know. Since my dog was very quiet, we missed a lot of signs from him although I had a doubt as a kid. I don't want that happening to anybody or any dogs. I am also certified in pet first aid and pet cpr. I take pride in as a caretaker and love to be your furbaby's new buddy to hang out with! I currently work at home, so I can be with your furbaby all the time even when my kids are home. I don't mind taking them for walks or even to the park after work as long as weather permits Dogs are free to roam in kitchen/living room area and will have access to unlimited water. Treats will depend on what permission I get from each pawrent. They will never be alone with my kids without any adult supervision as I know how rough kids can be. My kids are taught, but are still too young, so I will never leave them alone with any dogs. I never left them alone with my senior girl even when she became weak and ill with her last few months of her life.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs ever since I was a kid. I’ve had my family dog that I mainly took care of growing up and one of my own now that I’ve had for the last 6 years, if you hire me your satisfaction is guaranteed! About: My mom and I had a loveable and adorable black pomeranian. I helped with potty training him from when he was a puppy. I thought him tricks, walked him, helped give him his medicine, groomed him, feed him & gave him water, and mostly loved him. Dogs are great company and are so loveable. I helped my ex with his tea cup yorkie. I feed him, gave him water, bathed him, cleaned up his pee pee pad, helped with giving him his medicine and I enjoyed his company very much.
