“Thanks as always for taking care of Andy and Wyatt! I won the car lottery with them, they’re such good boys and I’m so grateful you’re there when I’m not. Thanks again! Just one more week :)”

“Elaine was amazing with our cat Gus. He's a bit of a sensitive flower and she got him out of his shell, purring and playing. I will definitely book her the next time we need a drop in sitter for him, I can't recommend her enough!”

“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Pearl to take care of my cat Maia while I was away, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we met, I could tell that she was a true animal lover. Her professionalism and genuine care for my fur baby were evident throughout her entire stay. One of the standout aspects of Pearl’s service was her proactive communication. During my first booking, she sent me daily updates and photos of my cat, which was incredibly reassuring. It was wonderful to see my shy cat starting to warm up to her, a testament to Pearl’s gentle and patient approach. During this most recent booking, Pearl helped coordinate with my house sitter to make sure Maia was fed and well loved when I was away. Normally, Maia is very reserved around new people, but she seemed comfortable and even happy in the photos I received. Moreover, Pearl was very respectful of my home. She left everything in perfect condition, just as I had left it. It's clear that she takes her responsibilities seriously and goes above and beyond to ensure both pets and owners are satisfied. I highly recommend Pearl to anyone in need of a reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitter. Her dedication and love for animals shine through in her work, and I will definitely be booking her services again in the future. Thank you, Pearl, for taking such wonderful care of Miss Maia!”

About: I got my first dog at 11 years old and along the way I’ve come to own cats, small animals, and fishes. In high school and college I spent some time volunteering at animals shelters shelters/organizations. In the most recent years I worked at a pet store, and gained a lot of hands on experience working with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fishes. I also became a certified dog trainer and groomer. At the moment I don’t have many obligations so it’s allowed for my availability to be open. I’m pretty flexible to schedule with! Please contact me within a reasonable amount of time for the holiday. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! As a dog trainer and groomer your pet’s safety and comfort is a priority to me. I know that worrisome feeling of what it is to leave my babies in the hands of someone else, and I carry that same sentiment when interacting with your babies. My experience a trainer and groomer has given me the ultimate insight of reading body language and the importance of paying attention to details.
About: I have a 2-year-old beagle who loves long walks everywhere and anywhere — and I love those adventures just as much as he does. Making other dogs happy brings me joy, and I’ll treat your pet like family. I will keep you informed. I have a set schedule at work, so I can easily carve out time during my day to spend with your pet! I love being outside and around animals, so it’s always a joy for me. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m attentive, reliable, and treat every animal with gentle care and respect. You can trust that I’ll create a safe, loving environment.
About: I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years, off and on and for the last 6 years. I work part time from home and my teens are homeschooling so I have time at home to play and care for your loved ones. In my home, pets are family and they are treated as such! I have a big, enclosed backyard for lots of playtime fun and doggy door access from the house so they have plenty of places to roam and explore. I have 2 small dogs (Coco 5yrs. is a Pug Mix and Luna 4 yrs is a Pug), both rescues. Luna we raised from 3 months old. They love meeting new friends and playing in a pack! I have been using Rover myself, for almost eight years, whenever we go on vacation and I love this service! My dogs have so much fun when they are away with their sitter family and I want to help other dogs and families feel the same peace of mind while they are away! I am lucky enough to be able to work part time from home and assist my homeschooling teens. Because I am home everyday, I make time to get outside often. I include all of the dogs in our playtime and the more, the merrier! I live in a house with a fenced in backyard. I have easy access to the backyard with a doggy door. I allow dogs on our furniture. They are part of the family, after all. My home is dog proof and I gate off areas they are not allowed, such as kids rooms. Dogs sleep in my room, either in a dog bed or kennel, whatever you prefer. I have extra beds & blankets as well. We spend time doing outdoor play a few times a day.

As a mom of fur babies ranging from different breeds and ages, one being a senior dog - I understand the importance of providing individualized attention. I treat each pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel loved, happy and well-cared for. I pride myself on being reliable and trustworthy. My home is securely gated, regularly cleaned and maintained, and comfortable. I have pet-proofed my home by removing any hazardous items, securing electrical cords, and ensuring that all spaces are safe for curious pets. My home is in a quiet neighborhood, minimizing exposure to loud noises and disturbances that could stress the dogs.

“Perla was absolutely wonderful with my Olive. She dedicated so much love and time with my little old lady, I felt completely at ease vs my usual anxiousness. She has found her calling, the love she provided and her communication skills give one peace of mind! Thank you Perla.”

“These was my first time hiring someone for my puppy and I wad very nervous. Yvonne came and help to feed, potty and play with my baby Lulu. Thank you so much for the great communication and services.”

“This was our first time using Rover, and we were a little nervous about having someone come into our apartment that we didn’t know. She immediately came across as very nice and respectful, which put us at ease. She’s in nursing school, clearly intelligent, and was receptive to our feedback (like our “no touch, no talk, no eye contact” rule with Mika). We even chatted afterward, and she just seems like a very genuine person.”

“Violetta was great with my babies, took extra care with my 15.5 yr old which was my biggest concern because of her medication. Photos to show you daily how they were which I appreciate it. I will book again if I need to go anywhere, was very happy with the service and care she provided.”

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats almost my entire life and I know how to take care of them well and make them feel happy and safe! I live in an apartment with my family, we all love pets and we’ll have lots of fun taking care of them :) I’m free all day and I’d be more than happy to take your pet in! If there happens to be any reason that I am not free I will update my schedule. I will make sure your pet feels safe and happy here, I’ll provide them anything that they need, and I will try to provide toys also for them to have fun. I also have a cat at home but she doesn’t mind being around other pets like cats and dogs.
About: Having a passion for animals had allowed me to be able to adapt to the needs of each pet I encounter. From ferrets to good ol' doggos, I am comfortable with all sorts of pets. I'm a Student Parent and being able to help pet parents in-between class and parenting myself is a perfect fit in my schedule. It allows me to control my schedule. Currently I am unable to keep pets in my home. My services are pet sitting or walking. Thank you for this understanding and I hope to work with you and your pet soon!
About: I am a dog lover through and through. I have owned, cared for and loved dogs of every size and shape my entire life. There isn't a pup too big or too small, too young or too old! I am adaptable and can tailor my care to your dogs specific needs and personality. We're talking walks, fetch, pets, puzzles, games and all the attention a dog could ever ask for! I have experience with dog reactivity and dog based fear aggression. I also have experience in puppy care and senior puppy care! I am blessed to have a very open schedule which allows me to be available and flexible to your needs! :) I look forward to meeting you and your fuzzy family member! I am blessed to have a very open schedule during both the week and weekend, which means I am very flexible and can work with you on your specific needs. I treat every pet I care for as the individual they are. I am adaptable and tailor my care based on your pets needs and personality. I know how stressful it is finding care for your pets (I'm a dog mom too!) and my goal is to make sure I do everything I can so that when your dogs in my care, your mind is at ease.
About: I have two dogs of my own that I've been caring for since I was about 5, and I'm also my brother's designated dog babysitter (he has two super cute chihuahuas). What sets me apart is that I truly care about your dogs health and wellbeing, and I'm not scared to handle big dogs. I will 100% always make sure your dog gets water at the end of the walk and make sure that they show happy body language. I'm also extremely flexible and don’t mind doing extra things like helping to train or showing up early and leaving late. I’m probably your safest and cheapest bet because I don’t do dog walking solely for the money, I also genuinely enjoy being around dogs and going on walks. Since my dog is old, I can only really get that experience with other people’s dogs. (Although, I am also a broke college student lol :p) I’m a second year college student so I have a few classes during the day, but I can work around your schedule as much as possible. You can trust me to keep your dog safe, healthy and happy. I understand dog body language well and can tell when a dog is happy, stressed, scared or showing warning signs.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with over a decade of experience in dog walking, pet sitting, and cat care. I started pet sitting in middle school for family, friends, and neighbors! I’m happy to care for your cats too! Feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and all the love they need while you're gone. I work from home so I can take your pet to the bathroom whenever they need, take them on walks, and play with them all day :) I live in an apartment but it is very pet friendly. There are many places for dogs to run around or go to the bathroom.

We had Ginny as a drop-in sitter for 10 days over 3 week stretched period. She was always on time, did exactly what we asked for with TCL for our two small senior dogs one of which is diabetic. Ginny is a super communicator and very accommodating. While we had a rather unique situation, she was willingly helped us through. Thank you, Ginny, for being flexible and caring. We'll definitely ask you again for our future needs.

Hannah was amazing with my kitty cat, George! I had to take a last minute trip and after meeting her, I was reassured George would be in great hands. She was very attentive, communicative, and responsive. Sent so many adorable pictures. Provided playtime and cuddles. Gave much appreciated real-time updates. Will be my go-to babysitter!

Kristine is my first hire from Rover. Honestly i am nervous leaving my furry kids just to anyone but after reading all the good reviews about Kristine i gave in and tried her. Kristine went above and beyond to take care of them, she’s very patient in winning my Carson’s trust, Carson is very protective and territorial. She made sure they potty, they were fed and walked.. she played with them too. I highly recommend Kristine to take care of your furry babies.

Amanda took great care of my 2 cats while I was away. She provided detailed updates with photos for each visit to let me know how well they were going. It was truly comforting to know they were happy and so well cared for! I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Madelynn checked in on our three “kids” 🐈🐈⬛🐈⬛ for 3 days. Everything went well and the “kids” are happy. Madelynn provided good updates and cute pics. Very reliable - she was running late one day and let us know so dinner was a little late but it all worked out well. Look forward to Madelynn doing drop-in visits in the future

Maria took really great care of my pets during her drop-in visits. She kept me updated on my pets through out her visits and I received plenty of cute picture updates. She followed all 3 of my cats feeding instructions perfectly and kept them all happy and fed. I would definitely book Maria again.
