About: I am working a part time job right now so your pet will be my priority. I have grown up and taken care of pets (mostly dogs) my entire life. I have been dog sitting for friends and family since I was in middle school. I love animals and love being around them whether it is at a park, laying around the house or going on walks Im currently working part time. I have plenty of time for walks and to hang out with your pets. No need to worry about schedules as well as I am free to follow any schedule your pet needs I can spend time with your dog at a park or just hanging around the house. If you need someone to watch the dog during the day or at night I can do that as well.

About: My dogs are my life, and I want to ensure your dogs are well taken care of while you’re away. I have experience taking care of multiple dogs, from puppies to senior dogs, and dogs with timely medications. I had my first dog at 9 years old for 15 amazing years. My second dog, I’ve had since she was a puppy and has crossed the rainbow at 16 years old. She was also on specific timed medication for the last 3 years. I also take care of my brothers 2 dogs. I am currently unemployed, and I’ve been working on freelance work projects from home. I have plenty of time to care for dog and I am flexible with time. I have a fenced backyard your dog can spend time in. I also have a small fenced area in my home they can stay in comfortably, and separately from the other dogs. All preferences can be catered to your pet such as if you want your dogs away from other pets or if you would like them outdoors more that inside, etc.

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals since I was a young kid and have had a dog virtually my entire life, sometimes a few dogs at once and many cats too. I have been a fish, dog, and cat parent for about thirty years or more of my adult life and ongoing. Recently completed a twelve-week obedience training course with our German Shepherd. However, the business has been slow and I am looking for something to supplement my income. Another IT job would likely be treated as a conflict, and I already do that work anyway. This type of gig seems perfect, flexible schedule and doing something I have always wanted to do. Right now, I have the time. We will discuss shifts; I may be good to help during a variety of times. I love dogs, all animals really. We are very willing to sit for some dogs in our own home or stop in to check on, walk and feed them, etc. I have a neighbor that does the same thing as a “side hustle” (for Rover) and they love it. When I am out walking my dog, I often run into them walking their dog tenants that they are sitting while owners are away. I have lived in the Southbay since 1988 and love it here. If you provide it and it is needed, we will crate your dog, otherwise we are happy to let them always be part of the home while staying with us. The home is safe and secure with plenty of space inside and outside. We are in an enclosed subdivision with safe residential streets for walks. We have dedicated space where our dog and cat eat separately, we can also set up feeding so your pet can eat alone if necessary. We can adjust access to food, so nobody (including our dog) has any issues. Dog walking is done regularly for our GSD and we are happy to take your pet along to explore the neighborhood.

About: I’ve had dogs mainly growing up and have now been a dog dad for almost 3 years. Love my little guy and know how much fury friends mean to their parents. I’m also very weary of who I trust with my little guy so ask any and all questions you need to to feel at ease 😊 Im in the military as an instructor so my schedule changes from class to class but I generally know two weeks in advance if I’ll be available. Amazing sitter. Hired for drop ins and I couldn’t have asked for a better person. Lyra has just done a big move and lots of changes so she was terrified of Kaydin at first and then Kaydin worked her magic, making Lyra feel sooooo comfortable almost immediately. By visit #3 she was confident with Kaydin and by day last day of drop ins, Kaydin was Lyra’s bestie. Super communicative, super punctual, I am overbearing and a worrywart af but I had peace of mind by day 2 because I knew my baby was totally cool with her. Absolutely the best cat sitter who has watched our cat numerous times! From the very first day, Ivy was professional, incredibly organized, caring and communicative. We received wonderful daily updates and pictures that showed our cat was completely relaxed and happy. It gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Madison was fantastic with our dog! We hired her last minute before leaving for a week long trip. She put our minds at the meet and greet with her mother. She came by twice a day to walk LT, feed him, make sure he had fresh water, and give him the attention he needed while we were away. I’ve had Sora take care of my senior cat multiple times already while Im away and feel confident that I’m leaving my cat in good hands. My cat needs to be given several medications and Sora is able to handle that with no issues. She also updates me regularly. Will definitely rebook in the future.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
