“Laura C M. is amazing! Cici loves to stay with Laura and her family. We’re so happy to board Cici as we know Laura will take care of her!!! We have trusted Laura for more than 7 years!”

“Wow, so grateful for Katherine and John and all the love they showed our pup. We’ve never used a service like Rover and with McGee being recently diagnosed with diabetes, we were having a hard time finding someone who could administer his insulin 2x a day. They learned how to do this quickly and were so open to a pre-visit meeting so I could teach them. We will absolutely ask them to watch our McGee again if and when the situation arises! ❤️”
“Thanks for taking good care of Ponyo! Karina sent updates and lots of cute photos every day while she was boarding my dog. Ponyo came home tired and happy. Would definitely book again! :)”

“Sydney seems to love Sunny and comes home very happy. I would recommend her to anyone. She has the perfect dog set up and Sydney goes to his Beach house a lot now! ”

“Amazing. She took my pup last minute, allowed us to be flexible with drop off and pick up, sent updates daily, and my pup even came back cleaner than he was when I dropped him off. She’s amazing. My go to from now on.”

“Chris was a great dog sitter. He cared for Bleu like his own and kept me updated with photos in a daily basis. He even was kind enough to meet prior to the boarding to socialize our dogs and ensure they got along. Definitely keeping Chris in mind for future dog sitting 😊”

“Ivette was vey welcoming and kind to my little Charly. She had no issues tending to Charly meal routine aswell as his exercise needs. Charly was very happy when picking him up, which is always a very good sign that he had a good stay. Thank you and would 10/10 recommend to everyone”

“One word to describe Bubba's stay and Maria, AMAZING. You can tell from the moment you meet Maria she is serious, passionate and very knowledgeable about dogs. I hesitate a lot to leave Bubba with sitters who host more than one dog, but not with Maria. She gives each dog the attention they need or require and she takes into account how each dog will fit into the group before hosting. Maria said it herself that she tries to make each dog's stay be a vacation for them, and that is exactly what Bubba got; lots of walks and lots of trips to the dog park. Maria shared pictures daily and in every picture Bubba, and the other dogs, looked happier than I have ever seen him really. Highly recommend Maria!!!”
About: I’ve always had dogs growing up. Recently just lost my senior pug who had diabetes and several health issues. I have no problem administering and keeping track of medications/glucose and feeding schedules. I have a small fenced in yard for bathroom breaks, as well as a flexible lifestyle that allows me to walk dogs twice a day every day. I am a part time dance teacher so I only work in the evenings for 5 hours max. I love being active but am always home every night at a reasonable hour. I lost my dog in February so I am free to take care of dogs who aren’t so friendly with others or who need extra attention. I have a fenced in yard for bathroom breaks and am young and able to take long walks in my neighborhood. We have a gated den area for pups to hang out in during the day with windows and toys.

“Max & Zai are wonderful people! We feel so at ease leaving our most precious Psalm with them. We appreciate the updates, photos & videos. Thank you for always going above and beyond when taking care of our pup. Both of you are truly a blessing!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Diana. My dogs felt right at home from the start, and it was clear they were treated with love and care the entire time. I received updates and photos, and seeing how happy and comfortable they were gave me total peace of mind. It truly felt like a home-away-from-home for them. I highly recommend Diana and will definitely be booking again!”

“We just used Rover for the first time and were very nervous to leave our dog in a new place. Allison had us come and see her place and meet her dog Brody. Allison kept us updated with pictures daily. She even had doggie ice cream to celebrate our dog's last night with her and a special surprise for us when we picked her up. We would definitely use Allison again!”

“Nyessa is simply wonderful! The way she cared for my dog was beyond what I could have hoped for. She’s so gentle, kind, and attentive! it felt like leaving my fur baby with family. I’m so thankful for her kindness and can’t wait to book with her again!”

“Perla is the best and sweetest dog sitter. My little Lum looks so happy in the pictures that Perla sent me every day. Lum enjoyed playing with her dogs, Chloe and Harley. I didn’t need to worry about her at all for two weeks vacations. Lum and I can’t wait for next stay with Perla and dogs.^_^”

“Emma had a great time with Edwin and his dog Strudel! Edwin sent us photos of Emma during her stay and kept us informed of how she was doing. He also responded to our inquiries in a very timely manner. We will definitely book another stay with him in the future!”

“Our dog did great with Marilyn. He is an older dog, and she attended to his every need. Communication was great, and our dog got great attention, including lots of walks. We will be a returning customer.”

“Kristina took wonderful care of Beba during our three-day absence. Her regular updates, including plenty of photos and videos, reassured us of Beba's well-being. Kristina's evident love for animals and professionalism make her our go-to choice for future pet-sitting needs. Highly recommended!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Long Beach
I had to be away for three weeks, which is a really long time to be away from Bailey, but Jen made the whole experience so much easier. She sent me pictures every day, and it was great seeing Bailey happy, comfortable, and having new dogs to play with. Bailey also takes medication every day, so it was especially important to me that he was well cared for and his routine was followed. It was clear from the daily updates that he was in great hands with Jen. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for Bailey, and that says everything. I’ll absolutely be using Jen again on future trips and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their dog.

This was my first time using Rover and also my first time leaving Cookie and Spade in the care of someone else. Karina was fantastic!! She provided daily updates and sent plenty of pictures. Cookie and Spade had the opportunity to socialize with other dogs and seemed to truly enjoy it. Thank you so much Rover/Karina for making my first time experience an amazing one. I will definitely use Rover/Karina again.

Perfect visit as always! Our boys are very comfortable with Christoper, he sends pictures at every walk, meal time, etc and we can see our babies smiling and tail wagging each time. He really cares about their health and maintaining their normal routine which we really appreciate. Anytime we go out of town, we plan it around if he’s open those dates so we know that our sons are taken care of first.

Booking Elaine to watch koda was the best decision I could’ve made. Koda can typically be reserved and she opened up to Elaine right away. She was very helpful, caring, communicative, and just an overall great person. You can tell she loves animals. Will definitely be rebooking in the future. Thank you for all of your help!

Murphy had so much fun staying over with Alex and Fred! We could tell she was very comfortable with Alex and that she’d be in great hands right after our meet and greet. Fred also has a great temperament and was such a sweet buddy for Murph! Alex was communicative, flexible, and very trustworthy. We’re looking forward to having Murphy stay with them again!

I had a wonderful sitting experience with Linette and highly recommend her! I was weary since my initial sitter plans fell through last minute but Linette was able to watch Lucky and accommodate her specific needs at a moment’s notice. 💕 She gave regular updates and was always prompt to respond. Your fur baby will definitely be in good hands with Linette.

Excellent experience from start to finish. My dogs were so well cared for, and I had complete peace of mind. Katherine and John sent lots of updates and photos. They also made sure one of my dogs (who gets very scared when he hears fireworks) were happy and safe during the 4th of July. Highly recommend!

Megan is amazing ! 5/5 stars ! She’s reliable, friendly and a great communicator. I booked Megan for boarding services for my husky. She provided thoughtful texts updates and the cutest pictures of my dog. She even gave my dog a toy as a gift, I will def be booking Megan again in the future !

Elise does a great job puppy sitting my 13 week old min pin. He can't walk around outside yet because of still doing his shots, so he needs to be carried around in a sling/bag when she walks other dogs. He gets exposure while remaining safe, so I really appreciate that!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
