“We left our 3+ year dog with Wanda recently. This was our first time trying rover and it seems Wanda loved & pampered our dog a lot! Wanda is in a nice neighborhood in Long beach which made us feel safe leaving our dog with her. She sent pictures throughout & her conversations made us feel she is very experienced with dogs & understands them. Our dog hasn’t been around other dogs so we really appreciated that she only takes 1 client at a time. She made extra effort to make our dog feel comfortable with Gidget as well. We will definitely reach out to Wanda next time we need dog boarding!”

About: I have been around dogs all my life. I rescued and raised my own terrier mixes, including my senior dog, Annie who is 12. I have cared for neighbors’ dogs of all sizes. I’ve attended numerous training classes for my own dogs. I love being with dogs and will treat yours like family. I am a school teacher and have weekends and summers off. During the summer I have more availability, mornings, afternoons and evenings. During the school year I am available in the evenings and weekends. I have a small fenced in backyard. My little dog Annie gets along well with other dogs. I walk my her twice a day every day. I understand the importance of a routine, attention and playtime.

About: I had a Husky that I cared for for 3 years before I moved away from home. I really miss having a furry buddy around, so I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets, keep them company, play with them, and give them lots of love and attention while you’re away. I’m pretty flexible with my schedule and can make time for walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins. I’m available most weekdays and weekends depending on the booking. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ll follow their routine, keep a close eye on them, and give them plenty of attention and love

“Mic's stay with Maria was wonderful. She was very responsive as we were exchanging information and communicating the details of his stay. Maria was also very flexible when it came to drop-off and pick-up times for my big guy. She's set up a wonderful environment for any and all dogs that end up staying with her. Plenty of space, plenty of toys, and she provided a solid number of pictures while Mic was with her. My big guy was very well taken care of and I would certainly look to booking her again if/when I end up traveling. Thanks Maria!”

I’ve worked with huge pets and small pets and even some with medical conditions so if they need to be accommodated just let me know I am currently working part time so I will be updating my schedule constantly but I will be available on weekdays and even weekends .
