“I cannot recommend Laura enough. She was fantastic with our girls during their 8 day stay with her. She cared for our 2 golden retrievers (Mia and Riley), Chocolate Lab (Hershey), and our Russian Blue cat (Olivia- who has special needs as she is a tripod kitty) so well and gave us the peace of mind knowing they were in a safe and loving environment. Laura communicates very well and at the right frequency to give updates on your babies and sends pictures to help when you are missing their sweet faces. I know her house must have been hair-covered by the time we picked them up (mine always seems to be despite roomba constantly running) but she was gracious and no complaints. We will definitely book Laura in the future.”

Her house is super spacious and has a great backyard. Location is close to CSULB, so expect some good walks with your pup! Their knowledge and caring attitude towards dogs really shows throughout them and their family! Also, my dog is very skittish and shy, but once I saw him interact with them, I knew he was going to be alright. Knowing that he was comfortable definitely made me feel at ease with using dog boarding for the first time. I will definitely use Julie and Maria's service in the future! :)”

About: I joined Rover in October 2025 but I’ve been caring for animals for decades and have a deep appreciation for the comfort and companionship they bring. Before joining Rover, I was (and still am!) the go-to resource for friends and family who needed cat, dog, and house sitting. I can also provide care in the early or late evenings, working around dinner and gym time. For house sitting requests, I am currently able to offer spending 8-10 hours with your pet during the day, but am unable to offer overnight care at this time. I do my best to keep pets comfortable by sticking to their usual routine. I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, medication, training, and anything else they need. I’m careful with doors and gates, clean up after them and myself, and send updates so you know how things are going.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for 5 years. I love walking dogs and playing with the animals when house sitting. I always ask what the owners want and follow their instructions. For house sitting can come multiple times a day. Bringing good energy and ready for a walk or play time. I work part time but can come any time on Monday, Tuesday, and can do walks Wednesday through Sunday before 3:40 pm. I am always on the go and love going on beach walks or just walking around the neighbor hoods. For house sitting I can check on the animals through the day and after work can spend the night or do a night check. I take care of our neighbor dog and two cats when she is off traveling. Usually come in the morning and feed animals and play with them. Then I take the dog for a beach walk or we go on a jog in the neighbor hood. Then I come back around lunch and get all the zoomies out check on them and play with them. Then I go before work and after work to let them out and check on them. Before work we usually go on a 20 minute walk just to get them outside. The cats usually follow us on the second walk.
About: I’m very patient with pets, as i believe that they need special care with their daily living. I am someone who can make them feel loved and safe. I, myself have a miniature pinscher that can be handful at times but I very much love being with him. Dogs have this little world that makes me feel happy and peaceful, taking care of them is something i enjoy. I work full time in the day, but i still manage to walk my dog in the morning and the afternoon. Just like my dog, I am happy to welcome yours too and i will very much enjoy their company. I’m available for walks, check ins, and mid-day stays any day of the week. Weekends my schedule is a little more busy but i’m willing to adjust as needed. I’m open to work mornings or evenings. Week days anytime between 8am to 5pm is fantastic, if something is needed later I’m open for adjustments. I am a dog mom of two, so i understand and getting those mid-day zoomies out is super important. I provide for my dogs and others with feeding them, making sure they stay hydrated, taking vitamins if needed, playing with them, taking them on walks, and giving them baths. Cats i understand brushing them playing as well as making sure they get exercise.

For those puppers that have incontinence issues, I have a wonderful set up of a large plastic dog play pen which can be lined with pee pee pads, see my profile pics. You supply the pee pads- largest size when possible. Most of the dogs love the play pen- it has a doggy door, and so does the house.

She cared for our 2 golden retrievers (Mia and Riley), Chocolate Lab (Hershey), and our Russian Blue cat (Olivia- who has special needs as she is a tripod kitty) so well and gave us the peace of mind knowing they were in a safe and loving environment. Laura communicates very well and at the right frequency to give updates on your babies and sends pictures to help when you are missing their sweet faces. I know her house must have been hair-covered by the time we picked them up (mine always seems to be despite roomba constantly running) but she was gracious and no complaints. About: I had a family dog for 13 years! Luna was such a good girl and very energetic. She has since passed and her energy is deeply missed! Having so much time with Luna allows me to say I have great experience with dogs both in their senior and puppy years. I am a full time college student. Starting in September my schooling is fully online. That way I will have plenty of time to tend to the pets. I have a fully secured backyard with grass, shade and cement. The yard is a good size for dogs to play and relax. As for inside, there is an AC for hot days and the dogs are allowed on the couches and beds.
