About: Ive always worked with big pups but we are body positive here. I volunteer at shelters just to make the little guys happy and cant wait to meet and take care of all kinds of new friends. I just moved to Long Beach and as i am looking for a full time job in the hospital again, I’d love to care for your pets! my schedule is super flexible, ideally early morning to afternoon. As previously stated, one of my pillars, knowledge, is having the knowledge of the best safety protocols. Both in Health and Safety - remembering to always keep on eye on the animal. Stopping something from happening before actually occurring. Also keeping myself in check as I move throughout the day. - Giving them more than enough playtime - Feeding them on a scheduled manner, with the appropriate amount of food. Having a clear understanding of what to put in the food and what to NOT put in the food. - Putting all poisonous food packed away in a cupboard where the animal will be unable to get to. - Be actively aware of the animal when outside. Be watchful of the mouth, body language and temperament. - Knowing when to remove the animal from an dangerous, inappropriate, hazardous and uncomfortable environment. - Understanding signs of discomfort, aggression or anxiety. - Being mature about the situation.
