“Leah and Edward were great treating walking my two senior pups. One gets very fearful and is partially blind and they were gentle and able to get her going on a walk. They communicated with me every step and sent photos. We Will definitely recommend and use them again!”

“He’s everything my boy needed! We will forever be grateful for Raymond for helping us with Blue’s walks while my wife recovers from surgery. He’s very personable, attentive, and treats Blue as if he was his own. Wish there were 100 stars!”

About: I’m new to Rover but I’ve been caring for animals for decades and have a deep appreciation for the comfort and companionship they bring. My past pet sitting experiences have been through friends and family as they need me. Now, I’m excited to commit to pet sitting regularly in the Long Beach community! I currently share my home with a rescue cat and have extensive experience house sitting for cats of all personalities. In 2011, I adopted a senior dog who inspired my love for dog walking and pet sitting. Whether I’m spending time with a playful pup or a senior, I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. I work remotely, Monday through Friday, and have flexibility for morning and day time care - walks, feedings, socializing. I can also provide care in the early or late evenings, working around dinner and gym time. I prefer to provide care in the client's home. I can stay overnight and work from the client's home if reliable internet is available. If internet is an issue, I will leave and come back a few times during the day and return for overnight care each night.
About: I’ve raised, potty trained, and bite trained my own puppy. I have dog and house sat two dogs multiple times for family friend with a maximum of two weeks. I have also taken friends dogs on walks and watched over them. I currently go to college full time, however, my class schedule is very flexible and I am willing to try and figure out a schedule that works best for my clients:) I like to ask my clients their parenting style for their fur babies to ensure I treat them with the love and care they deserve. I utilize all products and suggestions given to me and provide animals with the same love and attention I would for babysitting a child.
“Michelle is a wonderful caregiver for our cat and dog. She is a great communicator, and is super responsive if a pet needs some special care and attention. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“I love working with Christopher! He’s diligent, responsible, dependable with his communication and so gentle and sweet w my Rosie! She’s just recovering from surgery so he took extra care with her to make sure her meds and potty schedule adhere to the doctors orders! I will keep counting on Christopher to be there for Rosie in the future!!”

About: I have had dogs in my house for my entire life, as well as being hired to dog sit for friends and family while they are out of town. I love and work well with all kinds of dogs. As a college student, being away from my pets at home gives me a lot more love and appreciation for when I do get to spend time with animals of any kind. School is my top priority, but my schedule is fairly flexible for the times I am available. I am available most weekends and early weekday mornings and nights. I care for pets in the client's home, however they wish for me to. I try to keep the pet on as steady a routine as I can, so they feel safe and comfortable around me.

I currently work part time from home so I am available during the day to make visits. My schedule is flexible so I am able to work around your needs Unfortunately I am not able to take care of pets in my home as my husband is allergic to them. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds and personalities for 14 years. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, groom, and care for their pets. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior pets, and those with special needs, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet needs energetic playtime, gentle companionship, or specialized care, I’m here to help! I work from home full time, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the attention and care they need throughout the day. I can accommodate walks, feeding times, playtime, and bathroom breaks, ensuring the pet feels comfortable and happy. At home, I create a warm and safe environment where pets feel comfortable and secure, keeping them on a steady routine for meals, walks, and rest. When caring for a pet in their own home, I follow the owner’s instructions closely to make sure they feel just as loved and cared for as they do when their family is around. “Knowing that Marlo was going to visit my dogs every day made my time away so much easier. She is confident, playful, and so loving. My partner and I AND our dogs absolutely love Marlo.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my personalized, detail-oriented approach and years of hands-on experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve cared for everything from playful poodle mixes to large breeds like black labs, and I’m attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s keeping up with a high-energy puppy or providing patient care for an older pet, I adapt to ensure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their routine. Additionally, I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own—handling tasks like bringing in mail, watering plants, and managing trash day. Clients trust me not just because I care for their pets, but because I’m dependable, responsive, and go the extra mile to make sure everything is just right. I'm currently free majority of the time, weekdays and weekends. I do partake in tutoring services along with taking care of pets as well, but my schedule is flexible with all of those occurring. I will be a bit more busy when school starts up for me, but can still manage all responsibilites. I primarily care for pets in the comfort of their own home, as this helps them feel more relaxed and maintain their regular routines. While staying at a client’s home, I make sure to follow all provided instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication (if needed), walk times, and play routines. I also make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and stimulation to keep them happy and calm while their owners are away. In addition to caring for pets, I keep the home tidy, bring in mail, water plants, and take out the trash as needed. My goal is to ensure both the pet and the home are well looked after, so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: Hello, I am a mature adult (graduate of Cal State Fullerton) and a responsible small business owner trying to supplement my income, it’s been rough these past couple years for small businesses. I will be willing to provide my business address and contact information to make you feel more comfortable, know I am trustworthy, and know where you can find me if any issues arise. As a past pet owner, I know having as much information on a stranger staying in your home would have made me feel more secure about hiring a pet sitter/pet walker. I am an experienced past pet owner of 25 years, I have had pets most of my life. I can provide walking, sitting, or pet care in your own home. I love all animals and love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I can also perform baths, light grooming, walking, food prep, and administer medication. In addition to caring for your four-legged family members, I am very responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. I will treat you the way I want to be treated in my business and my home. I love all animals and I am very comfortable with all animals. I am currently a responsible small business owner and I set my own hours and I can be flexible with schedules. I am reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to have pets in my building so all pet care will have to be in your home. I will treat your home with the upmost respect, follow all directions, and leave your home clean and neat.

Michelle is a lover of pets! We were already out of town when our dog sitter fell through. We were stuck! We reached out to Michelle—who we had never met—and she was willing and eager to help us out when we were really stuck on what to do! She stepped in, cared so much for our sweet dog and treated her like her own while we were gone. She’d send plenty of updates and pics of our pup throughout the service. Helped make sure she had clean water and fresh food. Michelle takes great care of pets and is a trusted lifesaver for our family!

Sunny was great with our dog Rip, who is still getting comfortable around new people. From the meet and greet onward, Sunny was calm and friendly in a way that helped Rip warm up to her fast, which doesn’t happen often. She was on time, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout. Exactly what you want when you’re handing off a dog who needs a little extra care. Would absolutely book again.

Leah and Edward have been my dog’s walker for the past three months. They are great communicators, always on time and well skilled with dog behavior and additionally are so kind to her. Additionally, they are generously walking their well-trained dog with mine to help with my dog’s reactivity. I highly recommend them!

Justin was very communicative with me and very patient with my dog who was a little unsure of a stranger walking her. He suggested ideas to make the transition go smoother, did not rush the process, and I really appreciated it. I will definitely book additional walks and daycare with Justin in the future.

Chris was so accommodating and personable. We had a little mix up in addresses (all my fault) and he was so flexible and committed to taking care of my big boy Gus. Chris went out of his way to make sure that Gus was taken care of. Definitely will ask for Chris for any future dog walking needs.
