I own a cat for 2 years and I took care of many of my family pets as well as owned dogs. I would be pleased to to meet your cute pets❤️❤️ I have recently been taking care of a 13 year old pit bull and shes so cute and sweet!! About: I’ve always enjoyed being around animals and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I’m happy to help with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and keeping pets comfortable while their owners are away. I’ll follow any instructions you provide and make sure your pets receive plenty of attention and care. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule throughout most of the week, which gives me plenty of time for pet care, house sitting, walks, feeding, playtime, and potty breaks. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have classes from around 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, so my availability is more limited during those hours. I’m available before and after class and will always communicate my schedule before accepting a booking to make sure I can meet your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I will always respect their home and follow the instructions they provide. I’ll make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get their regular walks and potty breaks, and receive plenty of attention. I’ll also keep owners updated so they can feel comfortable knowing their pets are being well cared for.

About: I joined Rover in October 2025 but I’ve been caring for animals for decades and have a deep appreciation for the comfort and companionship they bring. Before joining Rover, I was (and still am!) the go-to resource for friends and family who needed cat, dog, and house sitting. Now, I’m excited serve the Long Beach community :) Whether I’m spending time with a playful pup or a senior, I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. I can also provide care in the early or late evenings, working around dinner and gym time. For house sitting requests, I am currently able to offer spending 8-10 hours with your pet during the day, but am unable to offer overnight care at this time. I do my best to keep pets comfortable by sticking to their usual routine. I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, medication, training, and anything else they need. I’m careful with doors and gates, clean up after them and myself, and send updates so you know how things are going.

About: I have been a pet owner my whole life. My family's first pet was a cat who preferred to be away from humans. Living with him taught me how to respect the reclusive cat while still providing a loving environment for them. The second pet I grew up with was a highly energetic and profusely anxious weimeraner. She taught me how to work with larger dogs with high energy and how to help calm their nervous system when she got over-excited (which was at least once a day). In college I volunteered at a local cat sanctuary where I cleaned the enclosures while the cats were still in them. I interacted with cats who were on the entire spectrum of sociabiltiy ranging from big sweet baby energy to very feral. I currently have two cats that I adopted. I have had to give them rounds of medicine and have had to learn the best ways to administer it. I am also at their command for whenever they want attention, which is at least once an hour. Thank you so much for considering me as your drop- in sitter! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions about my experience with our furry friends. I am available most days and times Monday-Friday. I am also an early riser! Weekends I have less availability as I am training to be a pilates instructor. However I will be available after 5:30pm. I ensure that all pets that i have watched have a clean and comfortable environment to live in. When I drop in on dogs, the first things that I do are look for any accidents (especially if that is known to be an issue) and then I make sure that they have some fresh water. I also make sure to give them a little treat if that is allowed as well. If there is a yard I will let them out and supervise them the whole time, or just give them lots of scratches instead if thats what they prefer. I will pick up any and all poop that I find and ensure that it is disposed of properly. For cats I do the same thing and make sure that the litter box or boxes are scopped. I also ensure that the area around the litter boxes is maintained particularly if a furry friend is inclined to really throwing around the litter. If cats are out and about while I drop in and want attention, I will make sure to give them all the pets and scratches they desire. If they are on the independent side, I respect that and let them decide of they want to interact or not.
