I’ve raised and trained my current dog (Bruce Wayne) from a puppy and cared for my previous dog (Stella Rose) through all stages of life. Stella died from pancriatic cancer, giving me experience with senior care as well. I’ve worked with shy, agressive & what many would consider to be straight up evil (my grandmothers bird) animals, earning their trust over time. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Sometimes pets can have a difficult time eating because of how much they miss their owners. If this happens (& if it's okay with the owners) I'll typically hand feed them to make sure your pet is getting the nutrition they need while your away. 🫶🏻 ⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰ Schedule ⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰ I’m currently a college student at CSULB with a pretty consistent class schedule & outside of school activities, which allows me to plan my pet care visits according to that. Depending on the day I’m typically available in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I make sure to schedule my time so pets receive all the attention, walks, and care that they need. I’m dependable and communicate clearly if anything in my schedule changes. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind while they’re away.

“Elizabeth did an amazing job! This is the first time I’ve had a pet sitter. My cat had a wound and a cone and no one except my mom has ever watched my dog. So, I was a little nervous. But, Elizabeth’s sweet spirit put me at ease. She sent me pictures of my cat’s wound so I could see the progress and pictures of my dog when she walked him. She also sent additional periodic pictures and gave me updates. Elizabeth was very thorough and truly cared about doing the best job possible. My house was immaculate when I came home. Elizabeth truly went above and beyond and I’m so grateful for her!”

About: I’ve grown up with two dogs who I would often feed and pick up after, making sure they got what they needed and bringing them inside the house whenever they were allowed. More recently I’ve taken care of my family’s new dog where I would take her on walks for a duration of time, making sure shes pooped and stuff, sometimes even taking her to the park and playing fetch! I also made sure she had food and water. Overall I’ve been around many types of dogs and learned how to interact or cooperate with them. I am free all day all week so I am practically open to any schedule! Although I do plan on getting a part-time job pretty soon so until then I should be open. Whenever I am with pets, I always do my best to make them feel comfortable and trusted with me. This could vary from petting/rubbing them or even just getting them food. I make sure to attend to all their needs but make sure they don’t go over board. Like I’ve said before, I have much experience with pets!

“Brendan has made us feel like we can travel again! As we have a senior dog, we are reluctant to leave him--he's set in his ways and does not like changes to his routine which causes stress (for him and for us). Brendan set us at ease immediately. He has an extensive experience with all types of dogs, and was well aware of the unique needs of seniors: funky about feeding, different types of meds and med schedules, and the possibility of incontinence. Brendan took all of this in stride AND made us feel confident he could manage any issues should they arise. From day one, Brendan sent pictures and updates and was very communicative about Maxwell's behavior, habits and general well-being while we were gone. Although it was a lengthy stay (8 nights), he was communicative throughout and took good care of our home. I would have Brendan at our home again without question. I felt comfortable and confident that he would take good care of our sweet Maxwell. He got to know his personality and quickly seemed to understand Maxwell and that was clear in his communications with us.”

About: I grew up in a house where there always seemed to be animals in every corner, so it's probably no surprise that I ended up making a career out of caring for them. For the last 15 years, I've worked with hundreds of animal rescues and supervised veterinary teams to care for animals of all kinds. I've learned everything from reading behaviors to administering meds and cleaning wounds...but just as importantly, I've learned how to make animal's feel safe and loved. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I've fostered dozens and have three of my own (all with different energy levels, high and low) so trust that I know how important it is to find someone who will love them like family. In a way I'd want for my own pets. I'm also currently expecting my first baby (yay!), so I'm taking a step back from my regular career for a while. That means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I'm currently taking a step back from my full-time career to enjoy my first pregnancy (I'm still quite early), so I have a very flexible schedule and am around most days :) I always try to keep routines as normal as possible while you're away. I'll send plenty of updates (I usually have my camera with me, so expect lots of photos!) and make sure they get all the love, exercise, and attention they're used to. I'm comfortable administering meds, performing injections, wound care, nail trims, and anal gland expressions. One of my dogs is a GSP, so high-energy dogs are right up my alley, and I'm always happy to keep up with walks, adventures, or training. Honestly, I'm here to care for your pet in whatever way makes you feel most comfy, even if that just means sitting on the couch while we watch some old movies. I'm also happy to water plants, bring in mail, or take care of the little things around your home while you're away. My goal is that you come home to a happy pet and a house that's exactly how you left it.
