About: I've done it all — puppy chaos, senior snuggles, and everything in between. With 20+ years of hands-on experience and dogs I've raised myself, I know what your pet needs. I work a flexible full-time schedule from my home where I can care for your pet and take breaks to walk and play with them. If your pet is more comfortable in their own home, I am available to sit them there as my daytime job is remote. I am tidy and leave every space the same (if not better) than when I entered. Your pet's comfort and safety are my top priority. Having grown up in a home where dogs of all sizes were cherished family members, I understand how to read a pet's needs and create a calm, secure environment. Our house/dog sitter we've used for years left for college and we were in a jam to find someone for a trip in August. I am INCREDIBLY anxious about having strangers not just in our home, but caring for our 3 dogs. I had a horrible experience about 10 years ago - I'd left my little chihuahua mix with a friend's family to watch while I was traveling for work and they accidentally left the front door open - little Biscuit got out and was hit and killed by a car. Devastated and scarred is an understatement to how that has impacted me when leaving my furry babies with anyone since. But Kate was warm and lovely and cared for our brood like they were her own. We have a large (HYPER) german shep, a smaller 30lb dingo sized mutt, and a small Chiweenie:) Our home was taken care of, our dogs were safe and happy, and we couldn't have been more thrilled to have found someone we can trust! We will eleventy gajillion percent use Kate again! <3”

About: Hi I’m Serena! I’m currently in my master’s program at CSULB! I work hard and give so much love to every single one of my client’s fur babies depending on all their needs. I've grown up with 5+ dogs in my lifetime and taken care of dogs and cats of every kind and size since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me with their pets while they were on vacation to walk, feed, and administering their medication (both orally and injections) to their pets. I've taken animal CPR and have lots of experience with senior care with three senior dogs. I’m current attending college at CSULB but I am available in the mornings and evenings for drop in visits. For overnight or extended stays I am available Sunday-Saturday. I will care for them in your home and follow the instructions given to feed and drop in visits. If they are allowed outside, I will go outside with them and keep an eye on them both day and night. I will never let them outside on their own due to safety reasons. If discussed and allowed to housesit, I will keep your pets company for hours doing my quiet hobbies (Reading, drawing, etc.) since my pets tend to dislike being alone in the house for long periods of time.

I’ve taken care of my brothers puppy for 5 months, my own dog for about 5.5 years, my grandmas and my aunts dogs for a few years, both of whom live farther away, and have given walks, baths, and naps to all of them. I am currently down from my studies at UC Berkeley back in my hometown of long beach, and am currently on break from my job up there so this is my main priority aside from mental health, but dogs solve that! My home is fenced in and in a nice neighborhood, I care for dogs with kibble-based meals, raw food meals, and everything in between, I have a large bathtub for any dogs, and will do whatever the owner would like at their home as well. I am a naturally clean person and will keep a client’s home very clean as well.
