But, Elizabeth’s sweet spirit put me at ease. She sent me pictures of my cat’s wound so I could see the progress and pictures of my dog when she walked him. She also sent additional periodic pictures and gave me updates. Elizabeth was very thorough and truly cared about doing the best job possible. My house was immaculate when I came home. “Ali was great to meet and so sweet with my dogs right away. She got down to their level and stayed kind and patient, even when one of them kept barking at her now and then. On the day of the sit, she was very communicative about her arrival and departure times, which I really appreciated. “Brendan has made us feel like we can travel again! As we have a senior dog, we are reluctant to leave him--he's set in his ways and does not like changes to his routine which causes stress (for him and for us). Brendan set us at ease immediately. He has an extensive experience with all types of dogs, and was well aware of the unique needs of seniors: funky about feeding, different types of meds and med schedules, and the possibility of incontinence. Brendan took all of this in stride AND made us feel confident he could manage any issues should they arise. From day one, Brendan sent pictures and updates and was very communicative about Maxwell's behavior, habits and general well-being while we were gone. Although it was a lengthy stay (8 nights), he was communicative throughout and took good care of our home. I would have Brendan at our home again without question. I felt comfortable and confident that he would take good care of our sweet Maxwell. He got to know his personality and quickly seemed to understand Maxwell and that was clear in his communications with us.”

I’ve raised and trained my current dog (Bruce Wayne) from a puppy and cared for my previous dog (Stella Rose) through all stages of life. Stella died from pancriatic cancer, giving me experience with senior care as well. I’m dependable and communicate clearly if anything in my schedule changes. About: Hi I'm Lucy! I'm a lifelong dog lover who grew up with two Lab/Shepard mixes my whole life and 7 years of experience of dog care! I'm a huge dog lover, and this past year my husband and I adopted a German Shepard/Great Pyrenes/Aussie named Bodhi from the animal shelter - and he's my best friend! I have experience training dogs of different breeds and can read dog body language very well. With my dog, I have done extensive training including potty training, basic commands, recall, E-collar training, and more! When taking care of your pup, I treat them as my own and make sure I tailor my services to what works best for them. As a fellow dog owner, I understand how important your guidelines and expectations are for your pup, and their safety and happiness are my top priority. I understand how hard it can be to work full time while having your furry bff at home. I'm currently working part time and obtaining a yoga teacher certification, so I have plenty of free time! I'm my schedule is free on Monday-Thursday for hours between 6am- 6pm. I am not available for any Friday-Sunday work due to my yoga teacher training. I love taking my dog to the dog beach at Long Beach and as well as going on long walks! When I'm caring for your pups, I make sure they will get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. As a dog owner of a very active breed, I know how important it is to burn their energy and stimulate their brain! I will never push your pup to the edge of their comfort zone - and know the body language they portray when they are uncomfortable. I will always talk through your expectations and how we can collaborate to take the best care of your pup at the very beginning of their care. As a dog owner I understand that your directions and expectations for your dog are the most important thing!

“We requested Kate's service to watch our 2 dogs while we would be out of town overnight for a wedding. Our older dog, a border collie/bluetick coonhound mix, is very apprehensive of strangers and generally displays high anxiety behaviors. Kate came to our house the week before our trip to meet the girls, and to our surprise both dogs warmed up to her very quickly! The stress of traveling was eased by knowing they would be comfortable at home with a new friend... unfortunately our 9 month old daughter was not as comfortable so we drove home and surprised Kate at 6 in the morning- not even a single glass was out of place!”

“Lucia was wonderful and deserves 10 stars if I could give them!! From the start she responded quickly to my request, we set up a meet and greet to see if we were the right fit and I knew right away she would be great. We met a second time before leaving so the dogs would be familiar with her and it went off without a hitch! In addition to walking the dogs, sending me photos and videos and updates, I came home to a wonderfully clean home. I can tell she even ran the vacuum over the floors before our return (this did not go unnoticed - with two hairy dogs and black bamboo floors throughout the house every hair shows). I cannot recommend Lucia highly enough!!! It was such a relief to know my furbabies and my home were in good hands!! We will definitely be requesting her services again!”
