About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was 7 years old. While I have no formal training, I've owned pets consistently for the last 35 years. I've done a lot of work with rescues and shelters, particularly with special needs animals. I'm equipped to give medication of all types, even IVs and injections. I'm currently fostering two silly bulldogs and am volunteering my time with multiple local rescues. I have a knack for animals... You might even call it a superpower! I'll likely become best friends with your pet as soon as I meet them; I'll take the extra time to establish trust with you and your furry friend, so you both know you are in good hands with me. Whether it be just a quick walk or a homestay, your pet will be the center of my attention and will always be in good hands! Every booking comes with lots of pictures and a full recap of our time together. While I'm typically not available early in the morning, my schedule is otherwise pretty flexible. I'm available for drop ins and over nights. Unfortunately due to an FIV+ cat I am unable to host your pet here. I will schedule a meet and greet prior to our first booking to meet you and your pet at your home. I like to schedule this for up to one our in order to make sure we take the time we need to establish trust. Many of my pets over the years have been special needs, including English Bulldogs and FIV+ cats.

About: I have experience with many types of animals in the past few years. From large dogs such as huskies, golden retrievers to bulldogs. To smaller dogs such as Shih Tzu, Frenchies and even new born puppies! I also have experience with bird care and rodents. A love for animals means to give them the best quality care. I am currently working part time with mid day-closing shifts. I tend to have 2-3 days off a weeks, which allows me to be able to have dedicated time to take care of people’s furry babies. I am very aware of my surroundings so when it comes to client homes. I’ll keep a good eye on not just the pet, but the care for the home. I'm a huge dog lover, and this past year my husband and I adopted a German Shepard/Great Pyrenes/Aussie named Bodhi from the animal shelter - and he's my best friend! I have experience training dogs of different breeds and can read dog body language very well. With my dog, I have done extensive training including potty training, basic commands, recall, E-collar training, and more! When taking care of your pup, I treat them as my own and make sure I tailor my services to what works best for them. As a fellow dog owner, I understand how important your guidelines and expectations are for your pup, and their safety and happiness are my top priority. I understand how hard it can be to work full time while having your furry bff at home. Whether you have a young pup or old soul, I'd love to help you take care of them so can have peace of mind and they can have fun! I'm currently working part time and obtaining a yoga teacher certification, so I have plenty of free time! I'm my schedule is free on Monday-Thursday for hours between 6am- 6pm. I am not available for any Friday-Sunday work due to my yoga teacher training. I love taking my dog to the dog beach at Long Beach and as well as going on long walks! When I'm caring for your pups, I make sure they will get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. As a dog owner of a very active breed, I know how important it is to burn their energy and stimulate their brain! I will never push your pup to the edge of their comfort zone - and know the body language they portray when they are uncomfortable. I will always talk through your expectations and how we can collaborate to take the best care of your pup at the very beginning of their care. As a dog owner I understand that your directions and expectations for your dog are the most important thing!

We are truly grateful to have found Mallory to watch over our two dogs while at a family reunion for almost a week. Having a sitter stay overnight was new to us as well as my husband and I are not from the area. On top of that, our older dog needs a little more attention these days. Upon meeting Mallory my dogs acted like they were seeing an old friend. She was attentive and asked all the questions for things I had not mentioned. she is extremely responsive and compassionate with a very good energy around animals. She was considerate enough to ask if an extra hand for walking the dogs would be okay on the day she had to work late and kept me reassured that they were in good hands with updates throughout the trip. Our second time booking with Giovanny! He is definitely among the more reliable sitters we’ve used on Rover. Haley was amazing for a last minute request after our other care plans fell through. She was so on top of things and communicative, and I didn’t feel stressed at all even through a power outage in our neighborhood. She was great with all our animals. Mikhayla is great! We have two kittens and two senior dogs, all with different levels of energy and needs. Everyone was happy and well taken care of after 3 nights in Mikhayla’s care. The house was very tidy upon our return, too. I definitely recommend her services.

Miranda was professional, friendly and responsive from the first interaction. I had a difficult situation with two fairly new rescue dogs that sometimes get into doggy tiffs and she handled it with confidence and ease. She kept us updated regularly while we were gone and let me know if there were any issues. When I got anrrived home from our 12 day trip, our house was very neat and tidy. Erin did a wonderful job taking care of my cat Milo! She told me she has cats of her own so it felt good leaving him with someone who has the experience I was looking for. I had quite a bit of instructions for my cat while I was away, and she did a great job following through with everything I asked. Very attentive, responsible, and clearly cared about making sure my cat was comfortable and well taken care of. She always sent me photos, giving me updates, and was great with communication! Wow! Helen was amazing!! We left our dog Beau and our cat Hammy with Helen for 6 days while on vacation. Beau stayed with her at her apartment and she would drop in on Ham nightly. She would send us constant updates and pictures and was quick to respond to messages. I felt that my animals were safe and well cared for. She truly went above and beyond and we cannot thank her enough. We will for sure contact Helen again in the future. Thank you :)
