About: I’ve taken care of dogs throughout my life and genuinely enjoy their company. I currently volunteer at my local animal shelter a few days a week. I have completed the shelters Fear Free training that teaches how to recognize and alleviate Fear, Anxiety, and Stress (FAS) in pets. The training touches on how to read animal body language, low stress handling techniques, environmental and protocol modifications. I have experience with puppies, adults, and senior dogs. I currently work part-time. My schedule consist of working M,W,F at 11:00 AM-3:00 PM and T,Th at 11:00 AM-4:00 PM. I am not scheduled at my day job on the weekends. So on Saturday and Sunday I am available for constant care. I can house sit, do drop in’s, and walks 7 days a week. But on weekdays I will be out 4-5 hours a day due to my work schedule. I will always respect clients boundaries. I understand the importance of leaving the place in good condition and cleaning up after myself. Most importantly sending updates to the owners on how their pets are doing. I also understand the importance of the big responsibility it is to care for my clients pets. I will always treat them as my own, with compassion, care, love and respect.

I have a hybrid work schedule so I am available to drop in during the workday to provide any walks or potty breaks that are needed. I'm unavailable to pet sit, walk, or do drop-ins on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I can spend the night at your home to help ensure your furry companion doesn't experience separation anxiety. I've spent time walking dogs of all sizes, and I make sure to learn any triggers your animals may have before taking them on walks. I'll send photos of your animals while you're away to help you feel at peace and enjoy your vacation or work trip!

“This review is LONG overdue - but I wish I could give Kate 200 stars! She was awesome! Our house/dog sitter we've used for years left for college and we were in a jam to find someone for a trip in August. I am INCREDIBLY anxious about having strangers not just in our home, but caring for our 3 dogs. I had a horrible experience about 10 years ago - I'd left my little chihuahua mix with a friend's family to watch while I was traveling for work and they accidentally left the front door open - little Biscuit got out and was hit and killed by a car. Devastated and scarred is an understatement to how that has impacted me when leaving my furry babies with anyone since. But Kate was warm and lovely and cared for our brood like they were her own. We have a large (HYPER) german shep, a smaller 30lb dingo sized mutt, and a small Chiweenie:) Our home was taken care of, our dogs were safe and happy, and we couldn't have been more thrilled to have found someone we can trust! We will eleventy gajillion percent use Kate again! <3”

About: I’ve been doing pet sitting for over 3 years & have experience in all types of animals & am familiar with giving medication if needed. My main goal is to always ensure that your pet is cared for 100% and that you come back to a clean environment. Will also bring in/take out trash, water plants & bring in mail. I currently work part time so this leaves me with time to spend caring for animals. I am currently available for morning visits from 8am -10am Afternoons 12-3pm Pm 4-7pm Can also do overnight visits on weekends if needed. When I am caring for an animal at a clinics home I always make sure to ask for any information or their routine with their pup. About: I’ve always grown up around dogs. My favorite breed are pitbull but I have two beagles at the moment. I’ll obey any instructions you have for your pet, I do my best not to feed into bad dog behaviors. I’ve taken care of my family members dogs and multiple dogs at once. I’m good at cleaning up after dogs too. I’m currently studying for my CPA exams, so pet care will easily fit into my weekly routine. I prefer to walk any animal before the sunsets, but being at someone’s home is fine any time. I’m good at cleaning up after animals and myself. I have two beagles so I prefer not to do anything at my house. But I’m more than willing to take care of any pets at their house.

About: Hi folks!! I pet and baby sat many years ago throughout school and undergrad. I am a therapist currently on medical leave who wants to spend some time meaningfully connecting with sweet souls who don’t use many words :) I adore animals and have had them my whole life (at the most, I had 5 at once! 3 cats and 2 dogs). I also regularly help care for community cats here in Long Beach informally - helping get them food, water, and medical care when needed is important to me.
