About: I’ve taken care of dogs throughout my life and genuinely enjoy their company. I currently volunteer at my local animal shelter a few days a week. I have completed the shelters Fear Free training that teaches how to recognize and alleviate Fear, Anxiety, and Stress (FAS) in pets. The training touches on how to read animal body language, low stress handling techniques, environmental and protocol modifications. I have experience with puppies, adults, and senior dogs. I currently work part-time. My schedule consist of working M,W,F at 11:00 AM-3:00 PM and T,Th at 11:00 AM-4:00 PM. I am not scheduled at my day job on the weekends. So on Saturday and Sunday I am available for constant care. I can house sit, do drop in’s, and walks 7 days a week. But on weekdays I will be out 4-5 hours a day due to my work schedule. I will always respect clients boundaries. I understand the importance of leaving the place in good condition and cleaning up after myself. Most importantly sending updates to the owners on how their pets are doing. I also understand the importance of the big responsibility it is to care for my clients pets. I will always treat them as my own, with compassion, care, love and respect.

She played with Chapo, took him on walks, and made sure he got his meds since he had an upset stomach when we left. About: I’ve basically lived in a zoo since I was a child, ha! My family always had a variety of animals, including dogs and cats. I’m new to Rover, but have so much love for animals! I’m a doctoral graduate student, but on summer break! My availability is pretty open, and I’m always happy to spend time with fur babies! My dogs are completely spoiled! They’re family members and treated as such. Plenty of loving, belly rubs, and I’m a proud professional ear scritcher! They sleep inside (usually on top of me in some way). I walk them both daily, but it’s usually more like they walk me, ha! Also, my youngest has separation anxiety and my older dog is completely terrified of loud noises (fireworks, cars backfiring, etc.), so I’m also very patient with dogs that need a little bit of extra love and care.

About: I’m a dog mom of two and have raised both of my dogs since they were puppies, so I’m very experienced with daily care, routines, and potty training. I’m comfortable reinforcing training, giving treats appropriately, and helping dogs stick to their normal structure. I also have experience administering medications, as one of my dogs has gone through surgery and required consistent care during recovery. In addition, I regularly care for my friend’s mini dachshund, who I’ve been watching since she was just 2 months old and continue to watch almost every month. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with puppies, small dogs, and maintaining routines that help them feel safe and secure. I also have experience with leash reactivity, so I understand how to handle dogs that may need a little extra awareness, patience, and space while on walks. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, timely walks, and stick closely to their usual routines. I’m able to plan my day around their needs, whether that’s feeding schedules, playtime, or just keeping them company so they feel comfortable and cared for. I also help take care of my sister’s cat when she’s away, so I’m used to checking in, maintaining routines, and making sure cats feel comfortable in their own space. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and stress free. For drop in visits, I handle feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or litter box cleaning, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I also make sure to give them attention and companionship so they don’t feel lonely. For in home pet sitting, I maintain their full daily routine, including walks, feeding schedules, and downtime. I’m attentive to behavior, cleanliness, and safety, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and check ins so you have peace of mind while you’re away. As a pet owner who has used pet sitters myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I aim to provide the same level of reliability, communication, and care that I would want for my own animals.

About: Hi folks!! I pet and baby sat many years ago throughout school and undergrad. I am a therapist currently on medical leave who wants to spend some time meaningfully connecting with sweet souls who don’t use many words :) I adore animals and have had them my whole life (at the most, I had 5 at once! 3 cats and 2 dogs). I also regularly help care for community cats here in Long Beach informally - helping get them food, water, and medical care when needed is important to me. They’re a special part of our neighborhood! Happy to provide personal references. I want to know what will make you feel most at ease taking care of your beloved! My schedule is pretty open and flexible. love to have a little bit of warning for a booking, but I have a great deal of time on my hands these days.
