He has an extensive experience with all types of dogs, and was well aware of the unique needs of seniors: funky about feeding, different types of meds and med schedules, and the possibility of incontinence. Brendan took all of this in stride AND made us feel confident he could manage any issues should they arise. From day one, Brendan sent pictures and updates and was very communicative about Maxwell's behavior, habits and general well-being while we were gone. Although it was a lengthy stay (8 nights), he was communicative throughout and took good care of our home. I would have Brendan at our home again without question. I felt comfortable and confident that he would take good care of our sweet Maxwell. He got to know his personality and quickly seemed to understand Maxwell and that was clear in his communications with us.”

We met a second time before leaving so the dogs would be familiar with her and it went off without a hitch! In addition to walking the dogs, sending me photos and videos and updates, I came home to a wonderfully clean home. I can tell she even ran the vacuum over the floors before our return (this did not go unnoticed - with two hairy dogs and black bamboo floors throughout the house every hair shows). I cannot recommend Lucia highly enough!!! It was such a relief to know my furbabies and my home were in good hands!! We will definitely be requesting her services again!”

About: Growing up, we always had dogs around (German shepherds, border collie, pit bull). When I moved away, I missed having my furry best friends around. I adopted my pup Professor Wellington from a shelter in LA when he was around 6-8 months old. He was the first little dog I ever had which seemed easier living in apartments in LA & NYC and traveling. We had almost 13 years together before he recently passed away, and now I have an even bigger soft spot for older dogs that need some extra TLC. I have a regular 8-5 type job during the week, and I have the most flexibility in my day on Friday afternoon/evenings and the weekends. Having a pup that was an escape artist in the beginning, I’m very aware of checking for possible escape routes. I’m also used to watching for signs of anxiety and fear with the environment and other people/dogs. Every dog is different, but I want them to feel as comfortable, happy & safe as possible. For any house sitting requests, I do require doing a meet and greet prior to confirming the booking to make sure that we are all on the same page

They sent me pics regularly and even obliged when I needed more after a particularly difficult day. :) My girls and I loved Kayana and look forward to hanging out with them again!”

About: I have had my pets my entire life and have watched/cared for my friends and families pets as well! Doing things like staying with them in my family/friends homes when away, having them stay in my home, providing day care, making sure they get enough food each day as well as exercise! I love spending time with my pets and my family and friends pets as well. I've worked at a dog daycare center so im experienced with working with a large group of dogs and getting to know other pet parent's babies and actually building a bond rather than just "watch" them. I'm also experienced and knowledgeable in performing body checks to look for signs for injury or health issues. As well as knowing how to spot distress or anxiety in a dog and cat. Im experienced with basic first aid like bandaging and applying cream/ointment. My family also has always rescued pets. Whether it's taking in strays to find a new home or taking in pets that need rehoming and keeping them as our own pets! I currently have two dogs and two cats and I do my absolute everything for them. I would absolutely love to give that same love and care to your pets as well! I have open availability full time! Monday-Sunday I am available for house sitting! If you're away on vacation or visiting family or on a business or away from home for any reason I'd love to watch and care for your pets!! My availability is wide open to care for your doggies and/or cats!! No issues on availability! Available 7 days a week for your pet sitting needs! Holidays as well!! It would be an honor to care for your pets and give them the love they deserve while you're away! I care for my pets as they were my children! I will 110% put the same time, care, love, and effort into your fur babies as well! Always bonding and making sure they're happy,healthy,well fed and of course loved! That goes for whether we're at home relaxing or out on a walk or out at the park getting some fresh air playing catch. When they're sleeping or resting I always love to tidy up around the house or take care of anything around that may need doing! This is your home I'd also be keeping an eye on and staying in so I will of course treat it with the respect like it was my own! Your furry companion's comfort,safety and health will always be my main priority! To me caring for others pets isn't just a "job" the real reward from all this is the time I get to spend with them ❤️🐶🦮🐈 Caring for them and client's homes always gives me a sense of pride and joy! It has been the only type of work that feels fulfilling and meaningful!
