About: I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember! As a teen and young adult, I would often offer to walk roommates' or friends' dogs because I enjoyed spending time with them. I’ve helped people and dogs of all sizes and ages, from puppies to senior dogs that need a bit more TLC. I developed an interest in dog psychology to better understand how they communicate which evolved into helping train friend's dogs until I adopted my own Staffordshire Terrier in 2014. When I adopted him, he was very weary of people and had a hard time socializing with dogs. Fast forward to now (and lots of lots of research into dog psychology and training), he's in a place where he enjoys meeting new people and other dogs! I'd love the opportunity to work with you and your pup(s)! I'm currently working a flexible part time schedule, so please reach out and let me know what you are looking for and let's make it work! Let me know how you take care of your pet and I will be happy to do the same! While new to Rover, watching, walking, training, and overall loving on dogs has always come easily to me. And as a dog owner myself, I know the importance of being confident that your dog (and home) is cared for in the way that they need when you're not around.

About: I started caring for dogs and cats when I was in middle school. Over the years, family friends, neighbors, and personal connections have trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. From daily walks and playtime to feeding, administering basic care, and providing plenty of love and attention, I always treat every pet as if they were my own. Spending time with animals is truly a joy, and I love getting to know each pet's unique personality while helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I am currently on my summer break from college and have open availability until the end of August! I am very flexible and always open to meeting your lovely animals! When I am in a clients home caring for their pet, my ultimate goal is keep their routine consistent and stress-free in order to encourage a comfortable environment while you’re away. All instructions provided will be carefully read, understood, and implemented! It’s important to acknowledge that every animal has their own unique personality and needs, requiring different levels of care, patience, and attention which I am happy to provide. Additionally, I understand the level of trust it takes to let someone into your home. I will ensure your home is treated with my utmost respect and is returned to exactly the way you left it! I can always provide photos of your pets or space if you would like.

About: I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for friends :) and family for over 9 years. I am comfortable handling all dogs, cats & and even bunnies!!! I truly love them all! I believe man’s best friend deserves plenty of love, attention, and care. :). I understand that busy schedules can sometimes make it hard to give pets all the time they need, and I’d love to help provide that extra support. I’m currently back in school full-time pursuing another degree, and when I’m not in class or studying, you’ll usually find me outside enjoying the sunshine. I have fond memories of working for a family friend as a dog walker during my undergraduate years, and now that I’m back in school as a postgraduate student, I’d love the opportunity to help fellow pet owners again. I’m very dependable, detail oriented, and a strong rule follower who appreciates clear instructions and routines. I will carefully follow your pet care guidelines to make sure your pups stay safe, happy, and comfortable while in my care. I’m also mindful about respecting your home and ensuring both your dogs and cats are well cared for every step of the way.

About: Hello! I am a caring and trustworthy dog sitter that is incredibly patient and loves going on walks and finding new spots to sniff with my furry friends! Been the go to sitter for my friends and looking to expand. Have taken care of Labrador dogs to as small as Dachshunds. I work remote from home which offers me a bunch of flexibility to be able to care for your pet. I bike all over LB so I know the area and don’t have to worry about street parking if I need to get there quick! I own a beautiful 15 year old orange Tabby cat who is very vocal!! Hosting at mine may be tricky since I have roommates but also open to exploring that idea if need be. When I am an animal sitter for friends I like to leave their home looking better than when they left. Don’t mind light housekeeping chores to make your life and your animals life easier.

About: I grew up with animals my entire life ( including exotic and farm), volunteered at the wildlife rehab center, and local vet hospital throughout college. From cats, dogs, birds, snakes, lizards, newts, any furr or slimey critter that needs love and attention while you're away! Senior or adolescent I'm experienced with caring for any age, dietary, attention, or medications needs :) I'm a cancer survivor so caring for myself and pets its my job! I'm available to be a regular friendly face every week or supplement support when you have long days or stuck at work! I'm located right in downtown long beach and familiar with safe parks to take your pets to, or happy to entertain them at their home in a safe space :) I'm very attentive and adjust my approach according to your pets comfort.

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was 7 years old. While I have no formal training, I've owned pets consistently for the last 35 years. I've done a lot of work with rescues and shelters, particularly with special needs animals. I'm equipped to give medication of all types, even IVs and injections. I'm currently fostering two silly bulldogs and am volunteering my time with multiple local rescues. I have a knack for animals... You might even call it a superpower! I'll likely become best friends with your pet as soon as I meet them; I'll take the extra time to establish trust with you and your furry friend, so you both know you are in good hands with me. Whether it be just a quick walk or a homestay, your pet will be the center of my attention and will always be in good hands! Every booking comes with lots of pictures and a short video recap of our time together. While I'm typically not available early in the morning, my schedule is otherwise pretty flexible. I'm available for drop ins and over nights. Unfortunately due to an FIV+ cat I am unable to host your pet here. I will schedule a meet and greet prior to our first booking to meet you and your pet at your home. I like to schedule this for up to one our in order to make sure we take the time we need to establish trust. Many of my pets over the years have been special needs, including English Bulldogs and FIV+ cats.
