About: I used to work in an emergency vet hospital so I have knowledge on how to act in an emergency situation, common welfare, and proper precautions/warning signs/symptoms. I have also cared for pets of all ages, including 2 week old kittens, senior dogs, and many more. I work during the day Monday-Friday but can do evening and morning care and am fully available on the weekends. Starting in August I will be available during the day on the weekdays. I will follow any rules you set for me when caring for your pets. Every pet is different and needs different accommodations. But I will also love on them as if they were my own!
“Ali was amazing. She cleaned after my wobbly cat as he has many accidents and also cuddles with him as he gets separation anxiety. She was extremely prompt and communicative and you can tell she has a real love of fur babies. I would absolutely book with Ali again!”

About: With a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and extensive clinical care experience, I bring a high level of attentiveness to pet care. My academic background includes coursework in animal behavior, anatomy, and psychology, which helps me deeply understand what pets need to feel safe and comfortable. I love connecting with mother nature and truly enjoy taking animals on long, refreshing walks to keep them active and happy. I excel at reading subtle behavioral cues and maintaining strict routines. Every pet I care for is treated with the highest level of respect, safety, and genuine affection. Monday through Thursday, I am fully available after 3:30 PM. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, I have open availability anytime to give your pet undivided attention, long walks, and consistent care. Safety and trust are the absolute core of my approach to care. Drawing from my clinical background, I approach environmental management with a sharp eye for safety hazards and strict hygiene standards. Whether caring for your pet in my home or yours, I ensure a secure, stress-free environment tailored to their specific personality. I am expert at introducing animals slowly, managing transitions smoothly, and recognizing signs of anxiety or discomfort before they escalate. You can expect transparent communication and regular photo updates.
“Nicolas was PHENOMENAL watching my cat while I was away for business! He was very accommodating with getting access to my apartment, and went above and beyond sending updates. Nicolas will be the first person I go to for my future cat sitting needs and can't recommend him enough!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was basically a kid, and yes — your dog will become obsessed with me. I’m reliable, patient, and great with pets who need extra attention, belly rubs, or a hype-woman on walks. I’m a full-time student, but my fall semester is ending, so I’ll have plenty of time for your pets. I’m available most days for walks or drop-ins. I only do in-home care, so your pet gets to stay in their own comfy space. I’m hypervigilant, gentle, and big on routines—I keep doors secure, follow instructions, and treat your home and pet with respect.
“Alexis was great! Came out to do a meet and greet before the first drop-in and Stormi seemed to get along with Alexis really well! We got an update and some cute pictures and didn't have to worry while we were away for the morning :)”

About: We both grew up with dogs. We currently have 1 cat which we have had for 10 years, a large dog, and a medium sized dogs. This collection of pets gives us a good amount of experience in caring for different types of pets as well as how they interact with each other. In addition to our own pets we have also cared for some of our friends pets overnight on many occasions and have shared houses with roommates who have also had dogs and cats. I have no prior professional experience caring for others pets, do I m a behavioral psychologist who has worked with neurodivergent children for many years and can apply these concepts to pet care. One of us works from home 5 days a week and the other works from home 2 days a week. With the exception of some meetings, can be flexible to provide care at most times of the day. In our experience, that dogs and cats crave more than anything else is safety, trust, and an understanding of the ways they attempt to communicate with you. Our pets are capable of being on their own when needed, but when we are around they never leave our sides even for a moment. They are obedience as trained through positive reinforcement and socialization through meaningful experiences. They look to us for guidance, but we also like to challenge them to think for themselves to solve problems such as getting a to out of reach or navigating to us when the path is not visibly clear. I give this level of attention and support to every pet I meet and know how to build a relationship of trust and respect quickly and effectively. Even pets belonging to former roommates tend to follow me more than their owners after enough time.
“Sam took good care of my pets. His visits were timely and efficient. He responded well to uncommon occurrences. I highly recommend his engagement for any and all pet sitting and walking employment.”

About: From taking care of my first love Chocolate(she was a beautiful chocolate lab) at the age 7 , to sharing a Maltese named Snoopy with my best friend in high school, to watching my college roommates blue nose pit and greyhound; I’ve become the designated dog sitter for all my friends and family. While i love running and playing with young pups, I am never opposed to cuddling up with the more seasoned pups. I have clients who only need me to check in on their fur babies while they’re away which also is not a problem. Im currently working from home so i have 24 hours to give to your fur baby. I am flexible with extended stays as long as communicated. In my home i have a fenced side yard. There are also several dog parks nearby that i visit frequently when sitting. I have a large dog bed as i often sit larger dogs but your fur baby will regardless of size or gender will feel right at home.
“Tanesha is one of the best Rover’s that I have worked with. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and care are unparalleled. She took amazing care of both of my fur babies and kept me updated thoroughly during The time that I was away. There was 0 question as to whether they were in great hands. I’ll definitely be booking again with Tanesha in the future!”

About: I’ve had two furries, a cat and a dog and they are currently with my family living in NYC. I have experience taking care of them for over 3 years since they are just a kitten and a puppy. I helped my puppy Labrador Retriever break her potty and other aspects of training. I am calm and resilient. At the same time, I truly care about the furries and try to match my energies to theirs when it comes to exercise! I enjoy taking care of paw friends including Labrador Retriever, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Husky, Australian Cattle, Pomeranian, Forkie, and more. I go for a jog or a run during the weekend no matter what. So, your paw friends would be part of it in the mornings and evenings. Generally, I will give a morning run or a walk for 30 minutes and potty breaks every 2-3 hours during the weeks/ends. Before dinner time, I’d make sure to give them a brief walk as well, as I need one to wrap up my day. During the weekend, I will take your furry friends everywhere I go, unless I have to go dining somewhere/church for 2-4 hours. You let me know if you'd like me to let you know in advance so you are comfortable with it. I have two Nest Cameras installed in the house specifically facing toward the entrance door, balcony, too, and of course your furry friends. I can always see the alert of what’s happened throughout the day + anything that happens will be recorded for safety purposes!

About: I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years, off and on and for the last 6 years. I work part time from home and my teens are homeschooling so I have time at home to play and care for your loved ones. In my home, pets are family and they are treated as such! I have a big, enclosed backyard for lots of playtime fun and doggy door access from the house so they have plenty of places to roam and explore. I have 2 small dogs (Coco 5yrs. is a Pug Mix and Luna 4 yrs is a Pug), both rescues. Luna we raised from 3 months old. They love meeting new friends and playing in a pack! I have been using Rover myself, for almost eight years, whenever we go on vacation and I love this service! My dogs have so much fun when they are away with their sitter family and I want to help other dogs and families feel the same peace of mind while they are away! I am lucky enough to be able to work part time from home and assist my homeschooling teens. Because I am home everyday, I make time to get outside often. I include all of the dogs in our playtime and the more, the merrier! I live in a house with a fenced in backyard. I have easy access to the backyard with a doggy door. I allow dogs on our furniture. They are part of the family, after all. My home is dog proof and I gate off areas they are not allowed, such as kids rooms. Dogs sleep in my room, either in a dog bed or kennel, whatever you prefer. I have extra beds & blankets as well. We spend time doing outdoor play a few times a day.

Vanessa was incredibly thorough and had excellent communication throughout her visit. She documented everything she did with detailed notes and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. She carefully followed all of Chessie’s care instructions and made sure everything was taken care of before she left. She also got along great with Chessie! I felt completely comfortable trusting her because of how attentive she was. I would absolutely recommend Vanessa to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

Ali did such a great job taking care of my fur babies. My oldest took a liking to her immediately. They’re both a bit grumpy toward strangers so I was surprised at them warming up to her so soon! She’s very kind and well informed and I do plan on rebooking her in the future!
Heather took great care of my cat. Lira is an elderly cat with health issues. Heather came by everyday fed her, scooped litter box and gave her medicine and some love and cuddles. She also gave me detailed feedback and pictures after her visits. I am planning a trip for my birthday next month and I hope she is available to take care of Lira again. Highly recommend.

Arash took great care of Leo during our time away. Communication was excellent throughout the booking, and we appreciated the updates after each visit. Leo did very well with Arash too, and it was clear he was well cared for. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Arash went above and beyond, and we would happily book with him again.

This is the second time Tina has cat sat for me. She’s always very polite, friendly and professional. She takes really good care of my pet. This second time I had to book her last minute and she was thankfully available. Tina followed my instructions well. My cat was doing very well when I returned home. I can recommend Tina for any pet sitting and I will continue to book her for my future needs. Thanks Tina!

Roselyn did a great job taking care of my kitten. She followed all instructions well and provided detailed check in notes with pictures. My kitten really likes her as he played with her during both check ins. She also played with him and made sure he had enough food and water before leaving.

My dog Sasha loves her some Gabi! Sasha loves her visits with Gabi and is such a happier dog on visiting days. And I am a happier dog-mom knowing Gabi will fill Sasha with love and comfort. That's why we re-book Gabi's services on a weekly basis. Thank you Gabi! 🐾
