About: I'm a pet sitter for all my friend's pets. I had the experience of living with friends' pets many times. I really love pets and when I'm a sitter it's not only about changing the water and taking the pet outside for a pee, we have interesting conversations and quality time with games and cuddling. I'm a designer (in a pet tech company Basepaws) and work from home. I have time to walk outside several times a day and I do it even when I haven't pet:) We have a fenced yard with no holes and we haven't kids or other pets. We can have a long walk outside or keep your pet inside and use only the backyard if you prefer.
“We love Gabby! This is the second time we’ve had the pleasure to know that Gabby was taking care of our two cats while out of town. Gabby is so sweet and caring and 100% reliable. My husband and I trust her completely and feel our babies our being loved whilst away. We’ll absolutely use her services again!!!!”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for dogs and the joy they bring. Walking them isn’t just a job to me—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I love being outdoors, exploring nature, and making sure every pup gets the exercise, care, and attention they deserve. I am fully available currently 7 days a week and are open to work with your schedule! I understand how busy life gets, especially nowadays! So I’m here to make sure your fur babies get the same love they always get from you when you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own pack 🐶💛 Whether I’m in your home or mine, I focus on keeping their routine consistent, their tails wagging, and their stress low. From belly rubs to walkies, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home—because a happy pup makes for a paws-itively happy pet parent!
About: currently working in an animal emergency hospital for 4 years! i’ve worked with dogs 3x my weight, and cats who climb the walls. there is nothing new to me in the animal field working 5 days a week at an animal emergency hospital, most are early shifts so i have a big bulk of my day free to pet sit! mentally i’m never really clocked out the key is to have your energy feel as if your at ease with the pet no matter the environment. they can definitely sense your energy! i’m high energy myself and can be the best for really active pets, whether it’s going out for runs or playing fetch, or providing mentally stimulating treat games with them!
“Jennifer took care of my special needs cat and my 3 other cats. She was there morning and night and gave medicine to the diabetic cat I have. I shall be using her again in the near future.”

About: I have grown up with pets all my life. I learned at a young age the responsibility and passion it takes to properly care for an animal. I understand that pets are truly a part of the family and I treat all animals with love and respect. I have cared for multiple dogs and cats that were my own and also for friends and family. Anyone that you ask can attest that I am the biggest animal lover! I am a full time entrepreneur/artist, so my schedule is very flexible! I am able to step away from my work to check on your pet as needed or pick up my laptop to care for your pet in their own space. I am available Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule and occasional Saturday and Sundays. Since I am self-employed, I am able to come to your home to care for your pet at any time of the day for as long as your pet needs! Depending on your pet's needs, I can be as attentive or as quick as you like. Working from home allows me to consistently check in on your pet and meet all of their physical and emotional needs. I love and care for all dogs I come across, so every breed is welcomed with open arms!

About: I am a former pet dog trainer and working K9 handler who would love the chance to meet your dog and treat them like my own! I have two black labradors (one is a certified bomb dog) that I love dearly and have trained myself. I've been around many many different dogs, and traveled thousands of miles for training and seminars to learn from the best of the best! My experience is different from a lot of other dog walkers because I understand both training and behavior. I have had the pleasure of working with pet dogs who just want a good scratch, to dogs with insane drive who sniff drugs and bombs for a living. I've seen it all! Nothing really phases me, and I believe every dog needs a good outlet for their drives and to be treated with respect and love. Between walks, training, and check-ins, I'm pretty busy! But this is what I dedicated most of my time too, so it fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I love kicking things off with a Meet & Greet to bond with your pets and cover all the vital details before I walk them or do a drop in. You can expect regular check-ins filled with photos and videos so you never miss a beat! I make it a point to learn your pet's routine, including health needs, meals, and favorite games. Plus, you can rest easy knowing safety is always a priority; I thoroughly check all walking gear and leashes before we ever step out the door. I also work on their manners not rushing out the door so they are always safe (an open door doesn't mean a free for all). And as a bonus, I like to work on some light obedience!
“Megan is the absolute best!! We felt so at ease knowing our two kitties were being taken care of while we were away. ❤️ She sent so many pictures and updates! We will definitely be working with her for every future trip! Thank you so so so much.”

About: Since before I can remember, I have always had a passion for animals and a desire to work with them. Family friends have always trusted me with looking after their beloved pets, from dogs, to cats, and even fish! You can always count on me to provide the utmost care and love for your pet, all while having fun. I currently work a 9-5 but my availability is flexible. I hope you take the time to consider me in your search for the perfect petsitter! (: I’m currently working a 9-5, but my availability is flexible! I am available almost everyday after 5, and I’m off every weekend. I am open to house sitting the whole weekend, or partially as needed. I am very respectful of your space and would treat it as my own. I’m a neat freak and would leave it as if I was never even there.
“Heather took great care of Esme over the course of nearly 2 weeks while we were on vacation. Highly communicative, very attentive to her needs, it was a pleasure having her take care. Will definitely be booking Heather again!”

“I was gone for a weekend trip and used Cassidy to refill the food bowls and water fountain for the outdoor cats. She showed up as expected, sent me updates, and even moved a package delivery to the back door while I was gone. All went well and I was able to enjoy my trip.”

“Ali was amazing. She cleaned after my wobbly cat as he has many accidents and also cuddles with him as he gets separation anxiety. She was extremely prompt and communicative and you can tell she has a real love of fur babies. I would absolutely book with Ali again!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up with a family dog, and I’ve had both a dog and a cat of my own. Over the years I've become the “official” pet sitter for all my friends, and I still walk my boyfriend’s dog a couple times a week. At this point, I think pets know I'm just the fun uncle. I'm currently very flexible and I'm planning on focusing on solely this for a while. Please just say when and where and I'll be there! In a client’s home, I always follow their routines and instructions exactly, feeding, walks, medication, and boundaries. I keep the home clean, secure, and locked at all times, and I’m attentive to safety during every visit. I give pets plenty of supervised attention, monitor their behavior closely, and provide updates so owners feel informed and reassured while they’re away.”
About: I missed having dogs at home. Unfortunately I lost both of them last year. I had them for 16yrs. I have experience with senior dogs. I know how to put injections such as Insuline shots and give them medicine. I live in Long Beach, very close to LBG, very convenient airport. I like to keep the dogs at the house and just have a daily routine as they do at own home. I tried not to take them to places unless is required. I'm currently working part time and working from home. I'm available most week days and weekends. I'd rather take reservations from Thursday thru Sunday and some holidays too. Only one family at the time, no more than 3 pets. I just moved to Long Beach. Bixby Knolls area. Very close to Long Beach Airport. Very convenient and easy airport to flight from. Safe environment, a lot of places to go for a walk and 3 story townhouse, hard wood floors with small balcony, small patio and garage. Enough space to spoiled your dog. Gates to keep the dogs away from the stairs as well.
“Cassandra was fantastic! Plenty of communication and updates on my pet. I was booking last minute and had to do a contactless sitting with Cassandra, and it went perfectly. Very happy and will rebook again if she's available.”

“Melissa did an outstanding job watching over my babbies while I was away for the weekend. Followed feeding instructions to a T and made sure their water bowl was always full. She kept me updated on all her visits. If y’all need someone to care for your cats while you’re away, I highly recommend Melissa!”

About: I have been dogsitting for friends and family for around 6 years and this includes boarding and walking. I love to be active and my preferred form of exercise is running, so I would be more than happy to take your pup for a run with me! Ali was amazing. She cleaned after my wobbly cat as he has many accidents and also cuddles with him as he gets separation anxiety. She was extremely prompt and communicative and you can tell she has a real love of fur babies. I would absolutely book with Ali again!

Meghan stepped in at the last minute to care for our cat when our previous sitter had a medical emergency. We were on the East Coast when a Rover employee called & said that our sitter was hospitalized & that they were looking for an emergency replacement. We had a few options, but Meghan was the most responsive and had great reviews. We hadn't even met her, but we truly got lucky that she volunteered to step in. We look forward to meeting her in person the next time that we book through Rover, because we will definitely try to book her the next time we travel.

Sarah definitely calmed our nerves of leaving our cat behind on a trip. She completed her drop-in visits on time, was very respectful to our house, and treated our cat like her own. We loved receiving the many pictures and videos she sent. I highly recommend Sarah if you're looking for a sitter to look after your cat with the utmost care.

Arash took great care of Leo during our time away. Communication was excellent throughout the booking, and we appreciated the updates after each visit. Leo did very well with Arash too, and it was clear he was well cared for. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Arash went above and beyond, and we would happily book with him again.

Clementine is such a fantastic cat sitter! She was always responsive, communicative, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. It was clear from the start that she genuinely cared about our cat, Ash, and took the time to make sure he was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. We really appreciated the updates and the peace of mind knowing Ash was in such good hands. I would absolutely book Clementine again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter for their pet!
