Safety, trust & environment

While my house is being renovated, I am currently staying with my parents. I have two cats of my own: one who loves to play with other animals, and one who mostly keeps to themselves! Both are very sweet and do not scratch or bite. My parents also have a senior Poodle who is indifferent to other animals and will not bother your pet. Additionally, there is a tenant on the property with a Dalmatian, she is incredibly friendly and gets along wonderfully with cats and dogs of all sizes. I am committed to ensuring your pet sticks to their regular routine while you are away. With my medical background, I am fully capable of administering any necessary medications or supplements. While my current bed is too high for a dog to jump into, I am happy to use a crate if that is what your pup is used to. Please feel free to bring their crate, their own bed, and even a t-shirt that smells like you to help them feel at home! I love going on walks, and if your dog has high energy, I’d love to have a running buddy. I will provide frequent updates, including plenty of photos and videos, so you can have peace of mind while you're gone.

Information Gabby T. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or specific behaviors I should be aware of. I prefer to host pets at my house that are both cat and dog-friendly. If I am doing drop-in visits or walks, please let me know if they are human or dog-aggressive so I can safely avoid any confrontations with other people or pets.

A typical day

We can go for long walks or play fetch in my fully fenced yard. If your pup is socialized, she can even play with the friendly Dalmatian in the back house! We can also take trips to the beach, which is less than five miles away, or hang out at local coffee shops on their pet-friendly patios.

Pet care experience

I am a full-time night shift neonatal nurse who would love to care for your furry baby as if they were my own! I have cared for a wide variety of animals my entire life, from hamsters and cats to dogs of all sizes. As a dedicated animal advocate, I am always the first to step in if I see a stray or an injured animal in need of rescue. In November 2024, I said goodbye to my senior Chihuahua, Spunky, who lived to be 18 years old. Caring for her through partial deafness, blindness, heart problems, and epilepsy gave me extensive experience in senior pup care. I am fully comfortable administering oral medications and eye drops, and I am trained in pet CPR, the Heimlich maneuver, and recognizing signs of choking. I also have experience with large, 'dog aggressive' breeds. My previous dog, Bella, a Rottweiler Labrador mix, was dog aggressive, so I am highly skilled at maintaining safety and remaining aware of my surroundings during walks. Your pup will have my undivided attention and will always be safe in my care. I am a proud cat mom to four rescues: two indoor and two who enjoy their own secure outdoor cat house. I am the person my friends and family always call when they need a trustworthy, caring hand for their pets, and I would love to be that person for you!

Gabby helped us last minute over a holiday weekend with our dog Frankie. She was incredibly sweet and professional, flexible and communicative! We felt great leaving Frankie in her hands, even during the worst weekend of the year for dogs (fireworks!). We will definitely be working with her again!
