About: Ive always worked with big pups but we are body positive here. I volunteer at shelters just to make the little guys happy and cant wait to meet and take care of all kinds of new friends. I just moved to Long Beach and as i am looking for a full time job in the hospital again, I’d love to care for your pets! my schedule is super flexible, ideally early morning to afternoon. Your fur (or furless) babies are so special, gotta keep them entertained and happy, just let me know what you need and I will be there!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have experience with all sizes, from small dogs to big breeds, as well as cats. I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I also cared for my senior dog when she became ill, so I understand how important patience, comfort, and extra attention can be for older pets. I genuinely love animals and will care for your pets the same way I care for my own. What set me apart from any other sitters is that I not only love animals, but I also have a background in animal care and behavior through my animal science degree from Cal Poly Pomona. Along with 4 years of hands on experience caring for livestock and dogs and cats. My education gave me a better understanding of animal health, behavior, and overall wellbeing. About: I have rescued a few animals in the last 5 years. What sets me apart is that I will consistently update you on your pets progress. FaceTime with your fur baby is always important to make them feel good. I take them on long walks and make sure potty and playtime is priority. I am available for daily, over night, weekly or monthly boarding, sitting and walking. Pet care fits into my schedule. Connecting and being available for your pet is important to me. Care, kindness and patience is top priority for your fur baby. I give them warm gentle care and compassion in home. I report back to you with any concerns. I’m reliable, patient, and great with pets who need extra attention, belly rubs, or a hype-woman on walks. I’m a full-time student, but my fall semester is ending, so I’ll have plenty of time for your pets. I’m available most days for walks or drop-ins. I only do in-home care, so your pet gets to stay in their own comfy space. Since then I have been my friends go to person when their pets need a walk or a companion when my friends are out of town. About: I have owned 6 dogs through my lifetime, two boxers (Chica and Bella), one fox terrier (Jack), a black mouth cur (Kimber), a pit bull mix (Charlie) and a one eyed Chihuahua (Zoe). I also owned a couple of fish (Cheeto and Elvis) as well as a ferret (also named Jack). I worked as a kennel technician, groomer (I bathed, blow dried and clipped nails only, (I did not cut hair) and a doggy daycare counselor as well! I know how to feed, water, walk, bathe, dry and give medications. Familiar with how to handle dogs in heat. My love for animals has always gone above and beyond, they deserve nothing less🩷 I have a lot of free time and a goal of starting dental school once I can afford it! If I can reach that goal by meeting and caring for your fur babies, it will be a blessing. I’m available anytime from 8:30 am to 10 pm any day of the week or weekend. I do ask for a 3-4 day notice in advance for appointments (scheduling or canceling) please and thank you! For coming to a clients home, I always ask questions and for detailed instructions of pet care. I will follow the schedule, measurements and rules made by the owner to a T. I make sure dogs are being well supervised as well as lots of pets, treats, cuddles and play time! I am able to take them on walks, give them baths, play, crate and respect the dog (or cat) and owners boundaries. Side note: I cannot do boarding in my own home due to roommates and their pets.

My schedule is flexible so I am able to work around your needs Unfortunately I am not able to take care of pets in my home as my husband is allergic to them. I am able to commute to your house to provide care

About: I’m very patient with pets, as i believe that they need special care with their daily living. I am someone who can make them feel loved and safe. I, myself have a miniature pinscher that can be handful at times but I very much love being with him. Dogs have this little world that makes me feel happy and peaceful, taking care of them is something i enjoy. I work full time in the day, but i still manage to walk my dog in the morning and the afternoon. Just like my dog, I am happy to welcome yours too and i will very much enjoy their company. “Valerie was terrific. Valerie gave daily updates with pictures. She varied the routes to keep things exciting. Even when challenged, she was willing to push through. For example, we use a gentle leader with our dog, an active doberman, since he tends to pull very aggressively when another animal is present. For some reason a member of our household misplaced the gentle leader and Valerie walked him anyway while also letting us know the task was a little more difficult and why. Looking out for our dog, she also requested the water bowl to be placed properly when returning from a walk. Valerie was also willing to come by for an unpaid "getting-to-know" session and she demonstrated a credibility walking LT and making sure he was healing when she asked. This is something we have always had a problem with and she was able to pull it off with their first few steps together.”
