About: I have grown up with pets all my life. I learned at a young age the responsibility and passion it takes to properly care for an animal. I understand that pets are truly a part of the family and I treat all animals with love and respect. I have cared for multiple dogs and cats that were my own and also for friends and family. Anyone that you ask can attest that I am the biggest animal lover! I am a full time entrepreneur/artist, so my schedule is very flexible! I am able to step away from my work to check on your pet as needed or pick up my laptop to care for your pet in their own space. I am available Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule and occasional Saturday and Sundays. Since I am self-employed, I am able to come to your home to care for your pet at any time of the day for as long as your pet needs! Depending on your pet's needs, I can be as attentive or as quick as you like. Working from home allows me to consistently check in on your pet and meet all of their physical and emotional needs. I love and care for all dogs I come across, so every breed is welcomed with open arms!

About: I grew up with animals my entire life ( including exotic and farm), volunteered at the wildlife rehab center, and local vet hospital throughout college. From cats, dogs, birds, snakes, lizards, newts, any furr or slimey critter that needs love and attention while you're away! Senior or adolescent I'm experienced with caring for any age, dietary, attention, or medications needs :) I'm a cancer survivor so caring for myself and pets its my job! I'm available to be a regular friendly face every week or supplement support when you have long days or stuck at work! I'm located right in downtown long beach and familiar with safe parks to take your pets to, or happy to entertain them at their home in a safe space :) I'm very attentive and adjust my approach according to your pets comfort.

Cathy totally took care of my little ones while I was away for the weekend. She went above and beyond making sure they got food, meds, cuddles & took good walks. She even helped to keep my senior pup clean, dry & comfy. She’s communicative & kept the house in good shape too. Definitely working w/ her again.

Kayla was great with my rambunctious Dalmatian! She ensured to tire her out each walk. I received several photos and a detailed description each time. She even asked before treating my pup to a pup cup, which I thought was very thoughtful. I would definitely use her in the future!

It's always so hard for us doggie parents to leave our pups, so I especially liked receiving all the pictures & details about their walk. She has a lot of experience with dogs of all ages. I was confident she could handle my senior dogs. We will book with Jessica again!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was 5, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I don’t just feed or walk pets—I truly connect with them. I treat every animal like my own, with love, patience, and attention to their unique personalities. Friends always call me first when they need a sitter or walker because they know how seriously I take that responsibility. I believe animals have so much to teach us—about love, presence, and acceptance—and I do my best to reflect that in the care I give. Whether it’s an energetic pup, a shy cat, or a senior pet that needs extra patience, I’m here for them (and for you). Pet care is a meaningful part of my daily and weekly routine. I’m flexible and committed to making sure every visit is timely and consistent, whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or simply checking in. I prioritize clear communication with pet owners so they always know how their pets are doing. Caring for animals is not just a side task—it’s something I truly enjoy and make time for every day. I treat every pet’s safety and comfort as a top priority. In a client’s home, I always respect their space, routines, and instructions to help their pet feel as secure and familiar as possible. I pay close attention to details like feeding times, favorite spots, and any behavioral cues. If pets are in my care at home, I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment. I make sure everything is safe, free of hazards, and suited to their needs—whether it’s cozy spaces to relax or room to play and explore. Most importantly, I give pets my full attention, treat them with love, and make sure they feel safe and seen at all times.

About: I am an animal lover with over 10 years of experience providing exceptional care for pets. I have worked at a doggy daycare for over 2 years and am happiest when I get to spend the day with four legged friends. As a fellow pet owner I am well aware of how much your pet means to you. I understand the importance that they are not only taken care of while you’re away, but living their best life. When I am caring for your fur baby, my number one priority is that they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I am comfortable and more than capable of caring for all types and breeds of pets, and am especially great with pets that require more experienced care (senior pets, special needs, high energy, shy/nervous). I am just as obsessed with your pet as you are, you can expect lots of updates and pics while you are away, as well as a piece of mind knowing you’re pet is in great hands. I can’t wait to meet your pet!

About: Ever since I was little, my fascination and pure adimitrion grew exponentially. Over the years respect shined brighter for every animal, whether that be wild, domesticated or strayed. Having the opportunity to take care of a bearded dragon for two years was beyond reproach. Whilst working amongst Dogs and Cats at Adopt and Shop in Culver City, not only gave me the proper knowledge of caring for these animals but understanding. Patience which is required when taking care of any animals. Though they are unable to speak, as we do onto each other - it is important to remember their importance within this world. An important pillar for me when caring for all animals, is having Respect. Patience. Understanding and Knowledge ( facts not fiction ). Knowledge is key. What I offer: - Inquired amount of playtime and a little more some. - Daily and Hourly checkups - Daily Images and Videos if so desired - Daily and Hourly walks - Mental and Physical playtime - Daily and Hourly feeding time - Over Night to Severals Days/ Week House Stay - Bathing Times - Taking animal to Appointments - Neighborhood walks to Dog Parks / Beaches - First Aid and CPR certified - Clean criminal records - Clean DMV records - Clean Background check - Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 - Grocery shopping - Nail clipping , teeth brushing , Brushing - 100% attention awareness on the animal in care My schedule is based around the clients schedule. When having a job, I like to prioritize the care of the animal. Though if a circumstance does come up, where I am unable to do so and so. Contacting the animals parents is number one , in advance of course. My schedule: Monday through Friday Times: Based off the client and her/his schedule. As previously stated, one of my pillars, knowledge, is having the knowledge of the best safety protocols. Both in Health and Safety - remembering to always keep on eye on the animal. Stopping something from happening before actually occurring. Also keeping myself in check as I move throughout the day. - Giving them more than enough playtime - Feeding them on a scheduled manner, with the appropriate amount of food. Having a clear understanding of what to put in the food and what to NOT put in the food. - Putting all poisonous food packed away in a cupboard where the animal will be unable to get to. - Be actively aware of the animal when outside. Be watchful of the mouth, body language and temperament. - Knowing when to remove the animal from an dangerous, inappropriate, hazardous and uncomfortable environment. - Understanding signs of discomfort, aggression or anxiety. - Being mature about the situation.

Had a great first experience with Doris! She was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, asking nuanced questions that showed she truly cares about providing quality, individualized care. Her interaction was warm and genuine, and my big puppy immediately picked up on that—she felt comfortable with her right away. It’s clear she takes the time to build a real connection with the dogs she works with. I’ll definitely continue using her and highly recommend her to others!

Alex is an absolute GODSEND. My 60 lb, recently adopted and easily excitable rescue dog requires an experienced handler. (He's not aggressive, just young, wild, and still learning the rules of interacting with humans.) Until we found her, we've struck out trying to find a good fit for someone to walk him. From the very first meeting, Alex's calm demeanor, skilled handling and complete love for dogs were obvious, and allowed her to view my dog's behaviors through an empathetic lens, which in turn allowed my dog to calm down and trust her pretty quickly. I can't say enough good things about her and I highly recommend her to anyone who has a dog with behaviors that are not perfect. She can handle your dog with skill and kindness. I'm so grateful for Alex!
