About: I grew up on a farm with multiple little friends around me. My parents were dog breeders and I have always found that lifestyle of taking care of animals as a privilege. I used to stay at people's houses to care for their pets and I genuinely would love the opportunity to do that again. As of now, I work a part-time retail job. I'm very easygoing with my work schedule, I tend to work around 10 hours a week. I do love pets, and I really do love walking. I tend to walk most places in general and I love spending time in the outdoors with furry friends. This would be a great opportunity for me and I would appreciate spending time with pets that need care for.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have experience with all sizes, from small dogs to big breeds, as well as cats. I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I also cared for my senior dog when she became ill, so I understand how important patience, comfort, and extra attention can be for older pets. I genuinely love animals and will care for your pets the same way I care for my own. What set me apart from any other sitters is that I not only love animals, but I also have a background in animal care and behavior through my animal science degree from Cal Poly Pomona. Along with 4 years of hands on experience caring for livestock and dogs and cats. My education gave me a better understanding of animal health, behavior, and overall wellbeing. I’m patient, reliable, and truly enjoy making pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I am currently going to school so I am unavailable during the weeks. During the weekend however I am free to take care of pets at any time. I am unable to care for pets in my own home but in a clients home I will care for the animal based on the instructions and living area of client. I am also available to take pets outside of living area and take them to parks and or open areas to get out of the house and play. The pets safety is a big priority of mine and I will take amazing care of them!

About: I am licensed in the state of Colorado as a massage therapist but I just moved to Long Beach and am looking for work while I finish the transfer requirements! I first started pet sitting last year! I was using Trusted House Sitters while I was living in Colorado with my family and I have done 8 long term pet sits with all 5 start reviews! I am kind, compassionate and would be honored to care after your home and pets and make sure they feel comfortable with my presence and happy and healthy until your return! My schedule is currently wide open and I am very flexible as well to match your needs! Once I become certified I would like to continue working park time as a dog sitter and a part time Massage Therapist while I gain my clientele! I am empathetic with my care and try to view my comfort and peace from the animals perspective. Since you know your animals best I will ask lots of questions and insure I have a good understanding of what your pet needs! If that means a cat needs me to sit quietly and give it space to trust me or a big dog needs me to take them frequent on romps and runs - I do my best to adjust my style of care to match the environment the animals needs!

About: I have owned 6 dogs through my lifetime, two boxers (Chica and Bella), one fox terrier (Jack), a black mouth cur (Kimber), A pit bull mix (Charlie) and a one eyed Chihuahua (Zoe). I also owned a couple of fish (Cheeto and Elvis) as well as a ferret (also named Jack). I worked as a kennel technician, groomer (I bathed, blow dried and clipped nails only, I did not cut hair) and a doggy daycare counselor as well! I know how to feed, water, walk, bathe, dry and give medications. My love for animals has always gone above and beyond, they deserve nothing less🩷 I have a lot of free time and a goal of starting dental school once I can afford it! If I can reach that goal by meeting and caring for your fur babies, it will be a blessing. I’m available anytime from 8:30 am to 10 pm any day of the week or weekend. I do ask for a 3-4 notice in advance for appointments (scheduling or canceling) please and thank you! For coming to a clients home, I always ask questions and for detailed instructions of pet care. I will follow the schedule, measurements and rules made by the owner to a T. I make sure dogs are being well supervised as well as lots of pets and play time! I am able to take them on walks, give them baths, play, crate and respect the dog (or cat) and owners boundaries. Side note: I cannot do boarding in my own home due to roommates and their pets.
