“Michelle is a wonderful caregiver for our cat and dog. She is a great communicator, and is super responsive if a pet needs some special care and attention. I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: Having been in this line of work for years, I take great measures to ensure that your animal receives the same level of care that their humans would ordinarily provide them. I'm honored to be entrusted to look after your pets! My schedule is set far in advance, so when I accept a job I'll know exactly when I can show up for your animal. I understand that a consistent schedule is very important for an animal's care, so I always make sure to be within a certain window of time for my visits (unless otherwise specified.) I will care for your pet in their home in the same way you care for them. Feeding/watering, cleaning, and company keeping are the top priorities unless otherwise specified.
“Elise really did amazing with my very anxious rescue dog. She went above and beyond. She clearly has a gift for working with animals. I would highly recommend her for petsitting/dog walking. Five stars!”

“Great walker, super communicative. Leaves my pup pooped! Came down with a cold and she was able to walk Avery with very little notice. She is always so accommodating. Thank you!”

“The best option, without a doubt. My dogs loved her from day one, and that says it all. She is incredibly responsible, communicative, and always attentive to every detail. She kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. You can tell she truly loves what she does, she’s patient, loving, and treats the dogs as if they were her own. My pups were happy, well cared for, and very spoiled. I recommend her 100% ✨”

“We love Shelli, and most importantly our dog has likes her. She is kind, gentle and very responsive to our needs. We will definitely have Shelli walk and housesit when needed.”

“Karen was wonderful! It gave me such peace of mind to have such a caring person walk my dog while I was gone. I love that she took the time to make sure that he was comfortable with her prior to the walk dates. The updates and pictures after each walk was wonderful”

“Sam was awesome! Our dog would get super excited right before going on a walk with Sam. He is very accommodating and great with communication! Would highly recommend him and will definitely be booking him for all of our future needs.”

“I love working with Christopher! He’s diligent, responsible, dependable with his communication and so gentle and sweet w my Rosie! She’s just recovering from surgery so he took extra care with her to make sure her meds and potty schedule adhere to the doctors orders! I will keep counting on Christopher to be there for Rosie in the future!!”

“Karina is awesome. Winnie loved her. Winnie has separation anxiety so we’re working on having her walk with new people. She warmed up to Karina and Winnie had a great walk and came back more independent.”
About: Hi, I'm Christian, and my girlfriend Alyssia and I would love to host your pup! It's just the two of us, and we love having a dog in the house. Our dog Kristen passed away after a years-long battle with liver disease, so while we don't have any animals currently, we do have a nice space for a dog. We work from home so we're available for your dog all day and night. Our dog had special needs with her diet and medication, so we can handle giving medicine and accommodating special food. Feel free to reach out with any questions, and we can't wait to meet you and your dog! We work from home, so we are more than capable of either hosting your dog in our home, or stepping out to care for them in your home! Working from home, we are available to be with your pet all day or night. We can crate them if that is your preference, but we typically allow pets freedom to walk around the house or sit with us in our office, depending on your pets individual needs!

About: I’ve had pets all my life and have years of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, exercise, playing, and providing daily care. I understand how important it is to keep pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routines. Most importantly, I will treat every pet as if they were my own! I love animals! I am a student at CSULB on summer break right now. I’d like to fill the gaps in my schedule by spending time with/ around animals! I am committed to keeping your pets in the environments the feel most comfortable! Whether that is the backyard, the park, or a crate! I am willing to cater to their needs!
About: I absolutely love animals of all kinds. I’ve taken care of animals all throughout my life such as dogs, cats, fishes, turtles, spiders, hermit crabs, hamsters, birds, you name it! Each animal is different, and there’s importance in getting to know how they are as well as ensuring they’re properly fed, taken care of, using the restroom as needed, and doing their necessary activities that fit their routines. I’m a part time worker, so I have a very flexible schedule to ensure your fur baby is taken care of properly during a time that works best for you! I only offer services for client homes and walks, however I understand there is a level of trust that is not to be broken. Your home is a safe space, and I promise to withhold that standard of ensuring your space is kept clean and safe according to your standards.

Now, I’m excited serve the Long Beach community :) Whether I’m spending time with a playful pup or a senior, I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. New Rover clients are eligible for a $20 credit: https://www.rover.com/sit/erins70354 I work remotely, Monday through Friday, and have flexibility for morning and day time care - walks, feedings, socializing. I can also provide care in the early or late evenings, working around dinner and gym time. I prefer to provide care in the client's home. I can stay overnight and work from the client's home if reliable internet is available. If internet is an issue, I will leave and come back a few times during the day and return for overnight care each night.
About: I have cared for large and small dogs as well as older and younger dogs. I am able to provide long walks to tire out young pups as well as specialized care for older ones. I currently work part time from home so I am available during the day to make visits. My schedule is flexible so I am able to work around your needs Unfortunately I am not able to take care of pets in my home as my husband is allergic to them. I am able to commute to your house to provide care
About: Since I was little, I have been surrounded by cats and dogs of all sizes, personalities, and breeds! I'm a dog mom to the cutest Frenchie (Perla) in the world - I will treat your pets as my own, providing a nurturing and loving environment tailored to their needs. Additionally, I live with 3 cats (not my own) who I care for and love very much! From puppyhood/kittyhood antics to senior snuggles, I've honed my skills in everything from daily walks and meal routines to administering medications and comforting during thunderstorms. My experience isn't just about owning a dog—it's about understanding their quirks, anticipating their needs, and ensuring a happy, healthy life full of tail wags and unconditional love. I love animals and would love to meet, play, and walk your pets. I am a full-time remote employee and am extremely flexible - I can check in on, feed, and walk your dog throughout the day as needed. I have a fenced yard and a pup to keep yours company. I always keep a very close eye on my own pup, and would do the same for yours.
About: I'm around dogs all the time. I used to work in a dog-friendly office so I got to play with them and pet them during business hours (which I admittedly did quite a bit of) and I am a dog owner so I get to play with them and pet them when I am home. I also watch my sisters' dogs when they go out of town. Long story short, I have lots of experience raising, caring for, and loving dogs and would treat yours like I would my own. I was recently laid off so am home and available essentially 24/7 right now and would love to be able to help out with your pet care needs, whatever they may be. I have one dog of my own that has full reign of my condo. I do not have a yard, but I take him out for walks/potty breaks at least 3 times a day. I can walk your dog as often as you like and if I’m house sitting I will respect whatever your rules are (ie if no pets allowed on the couch while you’re there then same when I’m there) I can walk your dog however frequently and for whatever amount of time you prefer. I usually take my own dog on one long walk (about 1 hr to 1.5 hrs) a day and then a shorter one (about 20-30 min) so that’s the amount of time I’m used to spending on walks. I am also available to dog sit at your home or simply check in on your pet as well. I can even bring my own dog over to hang out with your pets (with your expressed permission up front of course).
The median cost per walk for dog walking in East Side is $25
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - East Side
Amie walks my reactive dog Sunny weekly and working with her has been a wonderful experience from the beginning. She’s a very responsive communicator, she’s very good with dogs and has helped me with extra walks as my schedule requires. I greatly appreciate her communication with me about my dogs behavior - I highly recommend Amie!

Caitlin was friendly, professional, and an excellent communicator throughout the entire experience. She kept me updated and made me feel confident that my dog was in great hands. What really stood out was that after the walk was completed, she went above and beyond by returning to my house to turn on the air conditioning for my dog after I realized I had forgotten. That level of care, thoughtfulness, and reliability is hard to find. I truly appreciated her kindness and attention to detail, and it gave me great peace of mind knowing my dog was being cared for by someone so responsible. I would absolutely book with Caitlin again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker.
