“He’s everything my boy needed! We will forever be grateful for Raymond for helping us with Blue’s walks while my wife recovers from surgery. He’s very personable, attentive, and treats Blue as if he was his own. Wish there were 100 stars!”

“Michelle has been so great with our not always easy pup! AND she saved us last minute many times now when we were unexpectedly traveling or got sick. Strongly recommend her.”

“Great walker, super communicative. Leaves my pup pooped! Came down with a cold and she was able to walk Avery with very little notice. She is always so accommodating. Thank you!”

“Sam was very friendly and communicative. We had a meet and greet before the walk to introduce and go over everything. Sent a picture and gave me an update on how the walk went which was also great!”

“I love working with Christopher! He’s diligent, responsible, dependable with his communication and so gentle and sweet w my Rosie! She’s just recovering from surgery so he took extra care with her to make sure her meds and potty schedule adhere to the doctors orders! I will keep counting on Christopher to be there for Rosie in the future!!”

“Karina is awesome. Winnie loved her. Winnie has separation anxiety so we’re working on having her walk with new people. She warmed up to Karina and Winnie had a great walk and came back more independent.”

“Karen was wonderful! It gave me such peace of mind to have such a caring person walk my dog while I was gone. I love that she took the time to make sure that he was comfortable with her prior to the walk dates. The updates and pictures after each walk was wonderful”

“Elise was able to walk my senior pup who can sometimes be grumpy and challenging to deal with. She worked with her to befriend her and made her treats that she absolutely loves. Thanks Elise!”

“We love Shelli, and most importantly our dog has likes her. She is kind, gentle and very responsive to our needs. We will definitely have Shelli walk and housesit when needed.”

“Leigh-Ann is honestly the best dog walker I’ve ever had! Her communication is amazing, and she is always so thorough and thoughtful. My dog absolutely loves going on walks with her, and he is always so happy when I come home, which lets me know he had a great walk. She always gives him treats, belly rubs, and makes sure he has everything he needs before leaving. I truly appreciate how caring and reliable she is, and I highly recommend her!”

“So thankful for Tanya! She is so helpful, even agree to do the walks on last minute request. She is on time, responsive and responsible. So happy to see the photos she took of the dog and lovely note she left after each walk 🫶”

About: I have cared for my own dogs from puppy age til senior age and even through hospice care. I know how to administer meds and special foods including Sub Q fluids for illnesses like kidney disease and EPI. I am dedicated to making sure your pets are well taken care of because they are apart of your family. I go the extra mile because pets are the epitome of unconditional love. I am currently working full time from home, and take care of my senior dog with EPI needs. I enjoy being a foster periodically when I have time. I currently live in an apartment, and prefer to crate to keep dogs comfortable and provide a safe space while they get acclimated to the change in their environment. I live close to many nice areas for walking and also the dog beach for more exercise.

About: There's never been a time in my life that I haven't been surrounded by plants and animals since my childhood! In my adult life as a long-term Long Beach (and Idyllwild) resident, I've fostered and cared for countless dogs for myself, family and friends. Caring for pets, plants, people and homes are things I love the most and I would love the opportunity to learn more about your family's care needs. I'm a real estate agent with a flexible schedule that's always in / around Bluff Heights and Long Beach. I have property up in the San Jacinto mountains (in Idyllwild) where I love spending free time hiking and hanging in the forest (especially during the summer). We have a large (8k+ square foot) yard with a dog door where our dogs have access during the day. They enjoy being in the garden with me chasing squirrels, lizards, butterflies and birds. We also walk our dogs at least once a day for a couple of miles. I check the yard daily for "remnants" that need to be discarded and/or any trash and potential debris (dead birds and animals) that may present a risk to pets.
About: First off i absolutely love dogs. the gentlest souls. i’ve had dogs as pets for most of my life and ow i have one that’s my own. i want to branch out and give care for other pets too though. i walk my dog nearly every day so walks are not a problem for me. I’m open for dog walking and pet sitting any day of the week. I enjoy spending time outside on walks and local parks. If you have any questions please reach out. My dog is mostly an inside dog but there’s a backyard for him. it’s not very big cause of a pool so walking/hiking are his main ways of cardio. he’s also got plenty of toys and i always well fed with water as well. this will carry over into the care i can give your pets.

About: I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember! As a teen and young adult, I would often offer to walk roommates' or friends' dogs because I enjoyed spending time with them. I’ve helped people and dogs of all sizes and ages, from puppies to senior dogs that need a bit more TLC. I developed an interest in dog psychology to better understand how they communicate which evolved into helping train friend's dogs until I adopted my own Staffordshire Terrier in 2014. When I adopted him, he was very weary of people and had a hard time socializing with dogs. Fast forward to now (and lots of lots of research into dog psychology and training), he's in a place where he enjoys meeting new people and other dogs! I'd love the opportunity to work with you and your pup(s)! I'm currently working a flexible part time schedule, so please reach out and let me know what you are looking for and let's make it work! Let me know how you take care of your pet and I will be happy to do the same! While new to Rover, watching, walking, training, and overall loving on dogs has always come easily to me. And as a dog owner myself, I know the importance of being confident that your dog (and home) is cared for in the way that they need when you're not around.

East Side dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amie walks my reactive dog Sunny weekly and working with her has been a wonderful experience from the beginning. She’s a very responsive communicator, she’s very good with dogs and has helped me with extra walks as my schedule requires. I greatly appreciate her communication with me about my dogs behavior - I highly recommend Amie!

Caitlin was friendly, professional, and an excellent communicator throughout the entire experience. She kept me updated and made me feel confident that my dog was in great hands. What really stood out was that after the walk was completed, she went above and beyond by returning to my house to turn on the air conditioning for my dog after I realized I had forgotten. That level of care, thoughtfulness, and reliability is hard to find. I truly appreciated her kindness and attention to detail, and it gave me great peace of mind knowing my dog was being cared for by someone so responsible. I would absolutely book with Caitlin again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker.

My dogs seemed to absolutely lover Trevor! They had a great walk, and Trevor was extremely helpful and responsive. He listened to special requests like avoiding other dogs, and made sure my dogs had the best time on their walk. Will definitely book again, thanks!
