About: I joined Rover in October 2025 but I’ve been caring for animals for decades and have a deep appreciation for the comfort and companionship they bring. Before joining Rover, I was (and still am!) the go-to resource for friends and family who needed cat, dog, and house sitting. Now, I’m excited serve the Long Beach community :) Whether I’m spending time with a playful pup or a senior, I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. New Rover clients are eligible for a $20 credit: https://www.rover.com/sit/erins70354 I work remotely, Monday through Friday, and have flexibility for morning and day time care - walks, feedings, socializing. I can also provide care in the early or late evenings, working around dinner and gym time. For house sitting requests, I am currently able to offer spending 8-10 hours with your pet during the day, but am unable to offer overnight care at this time. I do my best to keep pets comfortable by sticking to their usual routine. I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, medication, training, and anything else they need. I’m careful with doors and gates, clean up after them and myself, and send updates so you know how things are going.
About: Hi, my name is Sereina! I've grown up around dogs and have always been someone reliable and trustworthy around others pets as well. I know how to handle and care for dogs and cats of all different sizes, ages, and breeds. I would love to keep growing my experience and getting to know families and their pet family members as well! Currently I am working a part time job and visit my family in San Diego frequently. I am in school during the fall as a full time student but have extra time right now in the summer. Caring for your pet is another way for me to fill up the time throughout the week and meet new pets! As your pet sitter, I can be very by the book. If you have any special requests or know how to counteract any known behaviors from your pet I am capable of following your standards and following what is most comfortable and right for your pet. I will treat your pet with the same love and respect you have for them (and then some!). I am patient and will do everything I can to hold yours and your pets trust.
“Irene went to my apartment to walk Pebbles. Pebbles was really shy and Irene eased her way to gain her trust. Irene is trustworthy and patient. I will book her again.”

“Marina is the kind of person you don’t just trust with your pet; you also immediately want to be friends with her. She is very kind, elegant, respectful, and punctual. We’re so glad we had the chance to meet her, and we will definitely hire her again.”

About: Hi there! I've been working with pets for 9 years and counting. I specialize in big/small dogs, cats, and small mammals. Additionally, I have 4 years of experience caring for reptiles and aquatic animals. If you have a 'weird' animal or an animal that is not listed for care on Rover, contact me! I'll be more than happy to care for your critter with proper written instructions :) I'm currently a college student with morning and evening classes. My daily schedule is open for early to late afternoon and nightly visits. Upon contact a descriptive schedule will be provided for the length of pet care to ensure the best outcome for your fuzzy friend. I can ensure safety and trust between me and your fuzzy friend by respecting their boundaries and following their schedules. About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 16 for friends, family, and online clients, and I genuinely love being around animals. I’m responsible, respectful, and very attentive to each pet’s routine and personality. I know trusting someone with your pet — and sometimes your home — is a big deal, so I always make communication and reliability a priority. I’m happy to send plenty of updates and photos, follow any instructions you leave, and make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether they love walks, playtime, or just hanging out, I’ll treat your pet with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I’m a college student with a pretty flexible schedule, and I have my own car, so getting back and forth for pet care is never an issue. I’m always willing to make the trip to make sure your pet gets the attention, walks, feeding, and care they need. I also work part-time, but my shifts are typically only 3–4 hours, so I’m never away for long periods of time. I’m great at planning around my classes and work schedule and making pet care a priority! Safety, Trust & Environment I always try to keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable and safe. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions closely, and I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection based on their personality! When I’m in a client’s home, I’m also very respectful of their space and make sure everything is kept clean and secure. I’ll always communicate clearly, send updates and photos, and make sure you feel confident that both your pet and your home are being well taken care of!

About: I've been taking care of my own and others pets for 20 years. Whatever needs or preferences your pet has, I can make it work. I'm currently a live in caregiver for my grandma. I'm also a student taking online classes from home, so I'm here most of the time. I have a dog Rigby and cat Shadow that I love very much. Pets add so much joy to my life, so I'm looking for opportunities to help other families. I have a high fence backyard with lots of grass and room to run. My dog Rigby loves other dogs and my cat Shadow is friendly as well. If your dog needs to be crated, I can accommodate that too.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for 5 years. I love walking dogs and playing with the animals when house sitting. I always ask what the owners want and follow their instructions. For house sitting can come multiple times a day. Bringing good energy and ready for a walk or play time. I work part time but can come any time on Monday, Tuesday, and can do walks Wednesday through Sunday before 3:40 pm. I am always on the go and love going on beach walks or just walking around the neighbor hoods. For house sitting I can check on the animals through the day and after work can spend the night or do a night check. I take care of our neighbor dog and two cats when she is off traveling. Usually come in the morning and feed animals and play with them. Then I take the dog for a beach walk or we go on a jog in the neighbor hood. Then I come back around lunch and get all the zoomies out check on them and play with them. Then I go before work and after work to let them out and check on them. Before work we usually go on a 20 minute walk just to get them outside. The cats usually follow us on the second walk.

About: 🦮🐕🦺🐕🐩🐕🦺🦮 Dog Experience 🦮🐕🦺🐩🐕🐕🦺🦮 I have experience caring for a wide range of dogs, including pit bulls, german shepherds, huskies, english bullterriers, bulldogs, poodles, and american bullies. I’ve raised and trained my current dog (Bruce Wayne) from a puppy and cared for my previous dog (Stella Rose) through all stages of life. Stella died from pancriatic cancer, giving me experience with senior care as well. I’m comfortable with all temperaments and energy levels, from high-energy dogs (like Bruce Wayne) to low energy dogs and older pets (like Stella Rose). 🐈⬛🐟🦜🐸🐢 Other Pet Experience 🐢🐸🦜🐟🐈⬛ I have experience with all different kinds of animals, from cats, to reptiles and aquatic pets. I particuarly have experience with cats, pac-man frogs, suckerfish, shrimp, pond fish, my grandmother's evil sun conure & golden jenday mixed bird, and turtles. Even though I don't have much experience with hamsters, mice, snakes, spiders, lizards and other animals, I am comfortable with all of them & feeding them their respective meals (live or dried). 🫶🏻 ✨✨✨✨✨✨ About Me ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ I’m very patient and understanding with all pets. I’ve worked with shy, agressive & what many would consider to be straight up evil (my grandmothers bird) animals, earning their trust over time. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Sometimes pets can have a difficult time eating because of how much they miss their owners. If this happens (& if it's okay with the owners) I'll typically hand feed them to make sure your pet is getting the nutrition they need while your away. 🫶🏻 ⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰ Schedule ⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰ I’m currently a college student at CSULB with a pretty consistent class schedule & outside of school activities, which allows me to plan my pet care visits according to that. Depending on the day I’m typically available in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I make sure to schedule my time so pets receive all the attention, walks, and care that they need. I’m dependable and communicate clearly if anything in my schedule changes. Right now I'm on summer break so I'm available almost all the time! 🫶🏻 🏠🏠🏠🏠🏠🏠 Enviornment 🏠🏠🏠🏠🏠🏠 I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding routines, exercise, and any specific needs. I’m attentive to behavior and prioratize making sure pets feel secure in their own home. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind while they’re away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Los Altos
Ms. Haley did an outstanding job taking care of my dog. We did a meet and greet, MS. Haley confirmed all the walks by sharing pictures and brief updates every day. Overall, I'm very happy with Ms. Haley services and I will continue to reach out whenever I need assistance.

We have scheduled Jack for dog sitting for an upcoming 10 day vacation. To help my dogs become familiar with Jack, we scheduled several dog walking visits beforehand. He is good natured with dogs and they warm up to him easily. I know we will have a very restful and relaxing vacation knowing our dogs will be in good hands with Jack. .

Naomi is not only highly responsive, she is kind and patient. My very shy kitty actually came out of hiding for her, which is unheard of! My senior dog loves her and all the belly rubs she gets. Naomi always goes above and beyond when she visits, spending time playing with each of my 4 pets, and giving them treats and loves. Highly recommend!

Faith is such a great dogwalker and carer for Murdoch. We appreciate the reports she sends during their walks, with photos and videos as well. She is considerate, mindful, prompt and quick to communicate. She also goes above and beyond like bringing inside mail or packages if we have any lying around -without being asked. 🎈 We also appreciate that she is so easy to work with and most of all, our dog loves her. Super bummed that she is leaving us but she is HIGHLY recommended and will surely care for your pets in the best way. We'll miss you Faith. Thank you for being there for our Murdoch.
