About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and taking care and spending time with them has always felt comfortable for me. Throughout my life I have also looked after family and friends dogs and cats which included feeding, playing with them, letting them out, and taking them on walks, and giving them the attention they need while there owners are away. While I am new to Rover, I am not new to caring for pets. I am primarily interested in building long-term relationships with local pet owners. I know how important it is to have someone you can depend on when it comes to the animals we love and I promise my patience, attention, and care. Communication is also very important to me, so I will always keep owners updated and send photos during visits and walks! I am currently a part-time barista and have classes on Friday which leaves me with a flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, and potential house sitting. I am primarily interested in building regular and consistent relationships with pets and there owners. I will always communicate my availability thoroughly so I can make sure to give your pet the attention they deserve! Your pets safety is my top priority which is why I will take the time to learn your pets routine, personality, and individual needs before providing care. I remain attentive during walks and visits and will follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, doors, leashes, and pet habits to fulfill my duties to the best of my ability. I will also provide updates so you know your pet is being taken care of! For house sitting, I understand that I am being trusted with your home. I will treat your home as I would with mine; with respect. I will follow the house rules and leave everything as I found it. My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable knowing your pet and home are in good hands.

About: I've raised a kitten for a year with my roommates before I had to move, I adored taking care of her and miss my bestie every day. I'm currently taking evening classes and have a lot of free time on weekdays and weekends. I'm very flexible and would love to add animal time into my every day routine. I cannot board animals due to my apartment's regulations, but am happy to watch your pets in your home or take them on adventures outdoors.

About: I have had dogs my entire life - as a kid and adult. Throughout my life I have had a Lab, Dalmatian, two Boxers and a 3.5 lb. Yorkie. I love dogs at all stages from puppy to seniors. I have trained all my own dogs with lots of treats and positive praise. I make sure I understand your pets needs, motivations, behavior patterns and safety concerns before I accept any pet assignments. I promise to take care of your dog as if it were my own. I promise...they are our fur babies. I am available Monday through Friday and some weekends. I am flexible and can work most hours of the day. I am reliable -- once I commit, you can count on me showing up on time ready to go. Your dogs safety and wellness is my priority. I will discuss any triggers your dog may have beforehand. I always carry water (hydration is key) and plenty of poop bags. I will treat your dog as if they were my own.

About: I have been a pet owner my whole life. My family's first pet was a cat who preferred to be away from humans. Living with him taught me how to respect the reclusive cat while still providing a loving environment for them. The second pet I grew up with was a highly energetic and profusely anxious weimeraner. She taught me how to work with larger dogs with high energy and how to help calm their nervous system when she got over-excited (which was at least once a day). In college I volunteered at a local cat sanctuary where I cleaned the enclosures while the cats were still in them. I interacted with cats who were on the entire spectrum of sociabiltiy ranging from big sweet baby energy to very feral. I currently have two cats that I adopted. I have had to give them rounds of medicine and have had to learn the best ways to administer it. I am also at their command for whenever they want attention, which is at least once an hour. Thank you so much for considering me as your drop- in sitter! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions about my experience with our furry friends. I am available most days and times Monday-Friday. I am also an early riser! Weekends I have less availability as I am training to be a pilates instructor. However I will be available after 5:30pm. I ensure that all pets that i have watched have a clean and comfortable environment to live in. When I drop in on dogs, the first things that I do are look for any accidents (especially if that is known to be an issue) and then I make sure that they have some fresh water. I also make sure to give them a little treat if that is allowed as well. If there is a yard I will let them out and supervise them the whole time, or just give them lots of scratches instead if thats what they prefer. I will pick up any and all poop that I find and ensure that it is disposed of properly. For cats I do the same thing and make sure that the litter box or boxes are scopped. I also ensure that the area around the litter boxes is maintained particularly if a furry friend is inclined to really throwing around the litter. If cats are out and about while I drop in and want attention, I will make sure to give them all the pets and scratches they desire. If they are on the independent side, I respect that and let them decide of they want to interact or not.

About: I have experience with many types of animals in the past few years. From large dogs such as huskies, golden retrievers to bulldogs. To smaller dogs such as Shih Tzu, Frenchies and even new born puppies! I also have experience with bird care and rodents. A love for animals means to give them the best quality care. I am currently working part time with mid day-closing shifts. I tend to have 2-3 days off a weeks, which allows me to be able to have dedicated time to take care of people’s furry babies. I am very aware of my surroundings so when it comes to client homes. I’ll keep a good eye on not just the pet, but the care for the home. Any loose toys, objects or cables will be protected and remain out of sight of the pet for their safety. I’ll take care and make sure your pet has the fun they need, while maintaining a tidy home.

About: I was raised with both cats and dogs so I have a strong love for all animals (reptiles still creep me out a bit tho). Also, I have looked after and walked my grandparents dog for a long time now, so I understand it is a big responsibility, but I am completely willing to take on because animals deserve everything and more. I have recently just graduated from college and I am starting a very slow job search right now so for the time being I have plenty of time daily for pet care and other activities. Although I cannot invite pets into my home because I am still living with my parents, I will care diligently for your home and your animals with the same respect I would want you to give to mine.

About: I’ve always enjoyed being around animals and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I’m happy to help with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and keeping pets comfortable while their owners are away. I’ll follow any instructions you provide and make sure your pets receive plenty of attention and care. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule throughout most of the week, which gives me plenty of time for pet care, house sitting, walks, feeding, playtime, and potty breaks. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have classes from around 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, so my availability is more limited during those hours. I’m available before and after class and will always communicate my schedule before accepting a booking to make sure I can meet your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I will always respect their home and follow the instructions they provide. I’ll make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get their regular walks and potty breaks, and receive plenty of attention. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for 5 years. I love walking dogs and playing with the animals when house sitting. I always ask what the owners want and follow their instructions. For house sitting can come multiple times a day. Bringing good energy and ready for a walk or play time. I work part time but can come any time on Monday, Tuesday, and can do walks Wednesday through Sunday before 3:40 pm. I am always on the go and love going on beach walks or just walking around the neighbor hoods. For house sitting I can check on the animals through the day and after work can spend the night or do a night check. I take care of our neighbor dog and two cats when she is off traveling. Usually come in the morning and feed animals and play with them. Then I take the dog for a beach walk or we go on a jog in the neighbor hood. Then I come back around lunch and get all the zoomies out check on them and play with them. Then I go before work and after work to let them out and check on them. Before work we usually go on a 20 minute walk just to get them outside. The cats usually follow us on the second walk.

My experience includes caring for both dogs and cats between 4 months-17 years old. I am an ideal sitter for high-energy dogs who need tons of attention, long and/or frequent walks, and extra play time while their owners are away. Skilled at senior dog care, including those with complex medical needs (including injectable medication) and frequent vet visits. I also provide bathing and basic grooming for longer stays at negotiable rates. LONG-TERM PET SITTING: I am a high-energy, hands-on sitter and will give your pets lots of love and attention. If I must leave your home for any reason, I always return within two hours. I keep emergency vet services and poison control information handy—though fortunately I've never needed to use either. I keep dogs on-leash outside of the house at all times. I closely follow house rules and strive to leave spaces in the same condition I found them or better. I have access to common yard space and live in a safe neighborhood that's ideal for daily walks. My wife is allergen sensitive, so dogs with excessive shedding or dander will not be a good fit. Rates may vary depending on your pets' specific needs. I live a short walk from the beach and will happily take your dog on a sandy adventure—no swimming allowed. I am currently available weekdays from Monday-Friday. I work part-time at a restaurant on Saturday and Sunday evenings, though my exact schedule varies and is subject to change. My work shifts are rarely longer than 8 hours. Dogs are kept on leash at all times while outside the house. I keep emergency vet services and poison control information handy, though I've fortunately never had to use either.

My love for pets started with a cat, then a hamster, more cats, dogs, and a fish here and there... Nowadays you’ll probably find me with my two orange cats and a Scooby Doo dog.
