About: 🐾 Experience I grew up with a family dog who was part of my life for over 10 years (she passed away last year and I miss her dearly), so I understand the day-to-day responsibility, routines, and care that go into keeping a dog happy and healthy. Through that experience, I’m comfortable with: - Daily walks and exercise routines - Feeding schedules and portioning - Basic grooming (brushing, cleaning paws, etc.) - Giving lots of attention, play, and companionship I’m especially mindful of each dog’s personality and energy level. Whether your dog needs a calm, relaxed walk or something more active, I adjust to what they’re most comfortable with. I also understand how important communication is for pet owners. I provide consistent updates, photos, and check-ins so you always feel confident your dog is safe and well cared for. While I’m newer to Rover, I bring real, hands-on experience from years of caring for my own dog and I treat every dog I work with like they’re my own. I thought this could be a good way to help me heal my heart after the loss of my family dog and be more active while helping local dog owners. I have a flexible schedule and live locally in Belmont Shore, which makes it easy for me to provide consistent and reliable care. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks or drop-ins, depending on your needs. I enjoy staying active, so daily walks fit naturally into my routine. I’m also available on weekends and can accommodate recurring schedules. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow your instructions closely, including feeding routines, leash preferences, and any specific behaviors or needs. I’m attentive on walks, avoid unsafe or crowded areas when needed, and make sure your dog is secure at all times. In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and mindful of your space. I provide regular updates with photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

I’ve raised and trained my current dog from a puppy and cared for my previous dog through all stages of life, including senior care. I’m comfortable with different temperaments and energy levels, from high-energy dogs to more relaxed or older pets. I also have experience pet sitting for multiple types of animals, including cats, fish, turtles, and small aquatic pets. I’m patient and attentive, and I’ve worked with shy animals, earning their trust over time. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m currently a college student at CSULB with a consistent class schedule, which allows me to plan my pet care visits reliably. Depending on the day I’m typically available in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I make sure to schedule my time so pets receive consistent attention, walks, and care. I’m dependable and communicate clearly if anything in my schedule changes. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet. Amie walks my reactive dog Sunny weekly and working with her has been a wonderful experience from the beginning. She’s a very responsive communicator, she’s very good with dogs and has helped me with extra walks as my schedule requires. I greatly appreciate her communication with me about my dogs behavior - I highly recommend Amie!

Caitlin was friendly, professional, and an excellent communicator throughout the entire experience. She kept me updated and made me feel confident that my dog was in great hands. What really stood out was that after the walk was completed, she went above and beyond by returning to my house to turn on the air conditioning for my dog after I realized I had forgotten. That level of care, thoughtfulness, and reliability is hard to find. I truly appreciated her kindness and attention to detail, and it gave me great peace of mind knowing my dog was being cared for by someone so responsible. I would absolutely book with Caitlin again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker.

Riley was the best with my puppy and she cared for him with so much love! He instantly wanted to be besties and Riley was on time for each scheduled feed or walk. Riley even went the extra mile to help apply anti-itch cream after walks since he started to have a bad rash. She is amazing and I would book again!

My dogs seemed to absolutely lover Trevor! They had a great walk, and Trevor was extremely helpful and responsive. He listened to special requests like avoiding other dogs, and made sure my dogs had the best time on their walk. Will definitely book again, thanks!
Leigh-Ann is honestly the best dog walker I’ve ever had! Her communication is amazing, and she is always so thorough and thoughtful. My dog absolutely loves going on walks with her, and he is always so happy when I come home, which lets me know he had a great walk. She always gives him treats, belly rubs, and makes sure he has everything he needs before leaving. I truly appreciate how caring and reliable she is, and I highly recommend her!
