About: I joined Rover in October 2025 but I’ve been caring for animals for decades and have a deep appreciation for the comfort and companionship they bring. Before joining Rover, I was (and still am!) the go-to resource for friends and family who needed cat, dog, and house sitting. Now, I’m excited serve the Long Beach community :) Whether I’m spending time with a playful pup or a senior, I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. I can also provide care in the early or late evenings, working around dinner and gym time. For house sitting requests, I am currently able to offer spending 8-10 hours with your pet during the day, but am unable to offer overnight care at this time. I do my best to keep pets comfortable by sticking to their usual routine. I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, medication, training, and anything else they need. I’m careful with doors and gates, clean up after them and myself, and send updates so you know how things are going.

About: Hi I'm Lucy! I'm a lifelong dog lover who grew up with two Lab/Shepard mixes my whole life and 7 years of experience of dog care! I'm a huge dog lover, and this past year my husband and I adopted a German Shepard/Great Pyrenes/Aussie named Bodhi from the animal shelter - and he's my best friend! I have experience training dogs of different breeds and can read dog body language very well. With my dog, I have done extensive training including potty training, basic commands, recall, E-collar training, and more! When taking care of your pup, I treat them as my own and make sure I tailor my services to what works best for them. As a fellow dog owner, I understand how important your guidelines and expectations are for your pup, and their safety and happiness are my top priority. I understand how hard it can be to work full time while having your furry bff at home. I'm currently working part time and obtaining a yoga teacher certification, so I have plenty of free time! I'm my schedule is free on Monday-Thursday for hours between 6am- 6pm. When I'm caring for your pups, I make sure they will get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. As a dog owner of a very active breed, I know how important it is to burn their energy and stimulate their brain! I will never push your pup to the edge of their comfort zone - and know the body language they portray when they are uncomfortable. I will always talk through your expectations and how we can collaborate to take the best care of your pup at the very beginning of their care. I’ve raised and trained my current dog (Bruce Wayne) from a puppy and cared for my previous dog (Stella Rose) through all stages of life. Stella died from pancriatic cancer, giving me experience with senior care as well. About: I've always had a strong love for animals. Whether soft or scaly, feathered or fluffy, animals make life special and more meaningful. My love for pets started with a cat, then a hamster, more cats, dogs, and a fish here and there... Nowadays you’ll probably find me with my two orange cats and a Scooby Doo dog. I’ve dedicated this month to local gig work, which means I am in the Long Beach area all day.
