“Doreen is a gem! She scheduled a meet and greet with our dogs, and she spent nearly 20 minutes calming down our grumpy, anxious alpha dog. From that, we knew we were in good hands! She reliably showed up for their walks, sent great updates, and was responsible with our home. Highly recommend!”

I'm currently an online highschool student and a full time figure skater. I do have a flexible schedule and am willing to make adjustments if needed. I have a fenced in open backyard for lots of play space. Along with that I have a back door that stays open allowing for in and out to go potty or to eat and drink water.

About: I am a third year college student attending CSULB majoring in hospitality management. I grew up in the Bay Area where I’ve babysat for many years, and pet sit for the last few. Many of which have been ongoing for the past few years. Growing up I had a gecko, and then later on had a hairless cat, which now lives with my older brother. I do have a part time job at the moment working at a restaurant, however would love to get time to walk or play with animals when time allows! I see it as a great way to relax and focus on the positives in life. I do not have the capacity to care for pets in my own home, however I have a reliable car and am happy to travel to yours and provide the services needed.

“Issis came in at the last minute and saved the day - she took fabulous care of Kiwi and was so communicative, definitely book with Issis for a 5 star experience. She’s punctual and very professional!!”

“Melissa was prompt from from first request and continued to be in touch with me. Prior to each walk she updated me on her arrival. She was quite friendly with my dog and continued to show her love of animals by being aware of my dog characteristics. In the future when I need service my request will be with a Melissa.”
“We experienced an impromptu meeting after booking which was perfect because June was super friendly with him right away. Nicolas was very communicative and we absolutely loved the pictures he shared with us. We’re also interested in his dog training services so hopefully I can provide a review for that soon as well.”

About: I've been a cat lady my entire life. Until finding a litter of month old puppies in a Weinerschnitzel parking lot late one stormy night almost 3 years ago. I've long been involved in cat rescue, and thought "I can foster puppies." I failed catastrophically at that. 😂🐈⬛🐕🐕🐛🦋💗 ChiliDog and SmallFry are the joy of my life. Sisters and best friends, they're a pair of wild rambunctious Siberian Huskies, each with their own unique personalities, and lots of energy to burn. We go to the dog park almost every single day to run a few miles, with an entire pack of their closest friends of course. I've been a pet sitter for over 8 years now. I worked for Prefurred Pet Care from November of 2017 - until the business closed in the summer of 2025. I've worked for Bark City Sitting since July of 2024 - present. I have lots of experience with many different breeds and personalities. I know how intelligent dogs are and treat them with the respect they deserve. I also have experience with medicating dogs. I look forward to meeting your furbabies and getting to know the charming quirks that make them special. I have 35 years of cat care experience. I'm a bit of a cat whisperer. I'm skilled at befriending the shy timid kitties. I also have experience with some exotic pet care, like raising Monarch butterflies and Praying Mantises. Thank you for considering me to help meet your pets needs. I'm looking forward to making new furry friends. I've been a full time petsitter for 8 years now. I'm looking to grow my clientele again, after the company I was working for closed. I'm also an artist. So my schedule is mostly free and flexible, other than the occasional art shows. I'm available for walks or drop in visits most days from 10am to 10pm. I understand that trusting a stranger in your home is a scary decision. I struggled with that myself the first time I ever hired a pet sitter for my kids. Please know that I will treat your home, and your furbabies with the utmost respect. I do like to arrange a meet & greet with any dogs before our scheduled visit, for both mine and your safety. Everyone should feel comfortable with the dynamic before we proceed.
About: I’m a true animal lover, they have always been a big part of my life, and over the years I’ve cared for everything from dogs and cats to parakeets and fish. Dogs have held a special place in my heart for over 20 years, and the bond I’ve shared with my own has taught me just how deeply pets feel love, patience, and consistency. Caring for animals truly brings me joy, I have a special soft spot for senior dogs who may need extra care, medications, or a little more tenderness and attention. When your pet is with me, they’re treated like family. I do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Clear communication helps ensure the best experience for everyone, so I kindly ask that drop-off and pick-up times are accurate and that you let me know as soon as possible if plans change. Drop-off and pick-up hours are between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Please note: For the safety, comfort, and happiness of all pets, dogs in my care must be fully house-trained and get along very well with other dogs. Caring for pets is a natural part of my day, and my flexible schedule allows me to spend lots of one-on-one time with them. I love giving plenty of cuddles, playtime, and gentle exercise, making sure each pet feels relaxed, happy, and truly at home while you’re away. I live in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and love taking dogs on easy, enjoyable walks through calm streets or over to a nearby park for some fresh air and fun. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs and always follow your instructions carefully. Above all, I focus on keeping every pup safe, comfortable, and happy, making sure they feel loved and well cared for the whole time they’re with me. 🐾

About: Although my journey with dogs is still growing, it’s been filled with love, care, and a genuine curiosity to learn more every day. I'm currently raising a Siberian Husky and a Coton de Tulear, along with a sweet tuxedo cat—so I’m familiar with different pet personalities and needs. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I always follow your instructions closely and respect any preferences or boundaries you set, including safe distancing between pets when needed. You can count on me to treat your furry family member like one of my own. As a self-employed contractor with a flexible schedule, I’m able to dedicate my full attention to caring for your pet throughout the day. I plan my work around pet care, not the other way around. I prefer walking dogs during the cooler parts of the day—when it's safe, not too hot, and more comfortable for them. Your pet's well-being always comes first, and I make sure every walk and visit is tailored to their comfort and safety. I have a large, fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love making new friends and keeping your pet company. There's also a curious, playful cat in our home—everyone here gets along well, and we ensure smooth introductions based on your pet’s temperament and preferences. My home is spacious, with plenty of room for your pet to relax comfortably. Whether it's a quiet corner or a cozy room with pet beds, toys, and all the essentials, I make sure your pet feels safe and at home. I’m happy to adjust to your specific requests and scheduling needs to provide the best experience for both you and your furry friend.

Michelle is heaven-sent to us! She walks our dog, Cali, 3x a week and Cali always looks forward to his walk with her. During the past Christmas holiday, Cali stayed with her and she took care of him just like her own fur babies. Michelle is very reliable, trustworthy, and constantly updates us by sending pictures consistently, communicates clearly and kindly. If I could rate her more than 5 stars, I would! She gives us peace of mind, knowing Cali is in good hands. Thank you so much, Michelle!

Alex is an absolute GODSEND. My 60 lb, recently adopted and easily excitable rescue dog requires an experienced handler. (He's not aggressive, just young, wild, and still learning the rules of interacting with humans.) Until we found her, we've struck out trying to find a good fit for someone to walk him. From the very first meeting, Alex's calm demeanor, skilled handling and complete love for dogs were obvious, and allowed her to view my dog's behaviors through an empathetic lens, which in turn allowed my dog to calm down and trust her pretty quickly. I can't say enough good things about her and I highly recommend her to anyone who has a dog with behaviors that are not perfect. She can handle your dog with skill and kindness. I'm so grateful for Alex!

Cielo was wonderful! She was on time, super friendly and very knowledgeable about various dogs breeds and training techniques. My little guy Ziggy immediately warmed up to her and felt very comfortable. He rushed right out the door with her for their first walk. LOL. Thank you again and you will be hearing from me again soon! ♥️♥️♥️

Prudence is amazing! I felt she went above and beyond. She was very loving and attentive to my dog’s needs. The reports were very detailed and professional. I highly recommend her for anyone who has a loving or trouble dogs in their lives. Prudence is capable of handling it all with care!

Monica was absolutely amazing with my pup. She was so flexible and easy to get a hold of. She asked if she could walk her dog with mine which I loved because any opportunity to socialize my baby I'm happy for. She always came on time it was very respectful of my space. I would book her again and again I'm so thankful that she's close to me as well.
