4. Doreen T.
“This is my first time using Rover and I was very nervous and skeptical to trust anyone with my baby but Doreen has put me to ease the first time we met. She was very professional and very gentle with him and I could tell he liked her. Doreen went above and beyond with his walks and feeding him and even took her time to get him comfortable with her. She followed everything that we discussed to the tea and I’m so happy we found her. I definitely going to use Doreen in the future and recommend her to anyone. Thank you again Doreen for everything. Thank you for keeping my four legged baby safe.”

She has stayed at our house when went on vacation and has also taken him to her house when we were going to be out late, sometimes for a sleepover. Amanda is a huge dog lover and takes great care of her furry friends. She is easy to work with, very responsible, communicative and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend her.”

In order to better aid the animals in her care and allay the worries of the pet owners, Nyaa makes sure to ask all the pertinent questions. Nyaa is a really reliable individual; she pays close attention to what the animals need, listens to them, and makes sure they are all in a safe environment. She is a wonderful addition to Rover.”

“Cassandra has been so amazing with our puppy. She is reliable and our puppy looks forward to seeing her which says a lot because animals know good people. Our puppy is happier at home than at a doggy hotel. Cassandra follows our walking and feeding schedule she even spends a little extra time playing or cleaning up messes or accidents our puppy has before Cassandra’s visits. I often get pictures of my puppy during her visits which I have become so fond of.”

About: For the past two years I have fostered two senior dogs with special needs. With these two dogs, and in addition to my dog, I was responsible for three senior dogs over the age of twelve. The white Terrier in my photos is blind and wears diapers. The Cocker Spaniel in my photos is deaf with no teeth. The two foster dogs are back with their owner, but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of going the extra mile for those two. For the last six years I have been the primary pet sitter for one of my neighbors who has four cats and two tortoises. The cats are two Bengals and two Siamese, all over the age of ten. No special needs, but they are very custom to a feeding routine. Same for the tortoises who are ages twelve (30 lbs.) and thirty-three (65 lbs.). They do not hibernate, so when I do pet sit, I make sure their heat lamps are in tip top shape during the winter. I am here on Rover because I simply enjoy animals. I want to be that extra hand for pet owners who would like to take a vacation or tend to other personal matters knowing that their pet is in the care of someone who is empathetic to their pet's needs, who pays attention to their pet's body language and nonverbal communication, and will go the extra mile to keep their pet comfortable until the owner comes home. I am a homebody. My preferences on my days off from work are to take the dog(s) to the park, dog park, beach, and for rides in the car. Exercise is everything for dogs, and I enjoy being that outlet for them. I take pride in maintaining a comfortable home. I have a large back yard secured with an eight foot fence, and I have a lot of trees, so I get a lot of visitors (raccoons, squirrels, rats) that will keep your pet entertained from above. I work full-time from home. I enjoy dog walking during my off time whether that is during my lunch break or when I have logged off for the day. I I have a large back yard with a secure fence with lots of privacy, lots of birds, and lots of squirrels that will keep your pet entertained. At my home, and at clients' homes, I always ensure doors are deadbolted, and gates are secured, and before I open any door, I make sure pets are either leashed or nowhere near the door I am exiting.

About: I love active dogs and I am a dog parent to a very active doggie Lucky who would love other friendly dogs to join us for a fun walk/run. I would love to help other friendly active dogs stay healthy and release some playful energy by joining my active friendly dog Lucky and I on short walk/runs, which are usually about 1 mile. I always make sure my dogs stay hydrated, take breaks when needed and are safe during our walk runs. I am not able to care for dogs at home but I’m more than happy to take them with me and my dog Lucky for a short walk run!
17. Paul H.
“On time helpful and cheery. Thank you Paul!”
18. Missy D.
“Missy is a great sitter, I work out of town a lot and she always comes to stay over to watch my cat and dog. She takes him on walks every day and always leaves the place really clean. It’s a relief to know she’s there for my pets.”
19. Dylan D.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. I have animal care education and experience with animals of any age. I am a retired vet and I love spending my time taking care of fur-babies. Every animal is treated as if they were my own and my own are extremely spoiled. I am a retired vet so I have plenty of time to care for your pets while you are away. Short visits or long visits, I can handle whatever you need. I respect whatever rules you have for your pets, and will ensure a happy, healthy environment for your animals. If the dog isn’t allowed on the couch, I will enjoy snuggling up to them on the floor. If you have no fenced in back yard, we will have a great time walking the neighborhood. However you like you pets care, I am ready, willing, and able.
20. Stephen K.
“Stephen has helped take care of the family dogs, Sami - an Alaskan malamute - and Milo - a chihuahua dachshund mixed breed. He regularly walks the dogs around our neighbourhood and in the local parks, making sure they both get enough exercise each day. Both dogs love being around Stephen and look forward to walks with him. He also makes sure they are fed and have fresh water every day. He is very attentive and both dogs enjoy being around him. Highly recommend! Your dogs will absolutely love him.”
